I recently started testing a few, premium as well as cheapos. Sometimes amazing how little difference there is. Like those two in the pic. I actually like the much cheaper QCY Crossky C50 better than the new SoundPeats Clip1. I like the Bose, but fear for their life in rain. Also like the Soundcore Aeroclip, but can’t justify the price … the Baseus MC1 pro with IPX67 have the best weather / dust rating. Keep seeing the Huawei freeclips topping lists on YT, but when I tested them I found them just β€˜eh’ … my pref is great sound, don’t need LDAC, not interested in phone quality … what else should I check out?

We've got both in our household (amongst some others). If you find the Clip1s too lose, I suspect that will be a similar situation with the Pearlclips.....probably even more so. They are easily the "loosest" of any of the ones we have. I've used both around the house, walking, in the car, walking around the office / shops, etc. But anything more active (at least for MY medium sized ears) is a no-go for the Pearlclips. The QCY Crossky C50 and the Truefree B1 have been much better for my ears when it comes to more vigorous exercise - e.g. running / mountain-biking / jump-rope / etc - though the sound IS better on the Clip1s than those other models. What I personally found fascinating with the Clip1s is that their sound when using the LDAC is NOT as good as simply keeping it off and switching on Dynamic EQ. I've EQd the heck out of them in different ways since I received them and situation remains. Yet even with that said, they still sound better than the others mentioned....though the QCY are also up there. Good luck with it whichever you end up with and make sure you give us all an update so others can learn from your experience! Cheers mate! πŸ‘

Yeah, those Crossky C50s are VERY good for the price and have a top overall value proposition. If you didn't already have your Bose buds (and you liked better bass), I'd have suggested going for the used Aeroclips at that discounted price. They're a great set of earbuds on so many levels and probably give me the best overall fit. When I throw on the medium ear grips that come with them, they'll stay in place no matter what I get up to. (Even more rock-steady than my trusty C50s, which are my usual gym buds.) I've had no experience with the Huawei freebuds, but have heard good things about them. You know, I reckon we're all getting a little spoilt. I'm consistently amazed at what US$80-$110 will get us as far as sound quality and features.....or even less depending on what you're willing to go without. The options are fabulous!! πŸ˜€πŸ‘
