I’ve used a few different ones, and each has its own vibe depending on what you’re after. **Cleer Audio ARC 3 Gaming** – These are honestly my top choice if you're into open-ear earbuds. They don't sit *inside* your ear like typical buds, so you don’t get that pressure buildup after hours of gaming. **Sony Inzone Buds** – These are more traditional in-ear buds, and I really like the sound isolation they offer. The audio is crystal clear, and I noticed it helps a lot with picking up game details like footsteps or background sounds. **Razer Hammerhead Pro** – These have a super bass-heavy sound, which is awesome for action-packed, fast-paced games where you want explosions and impacts to sound dramatic. So, depending on whether you want an open-ear, snug fit, or bass-heavy experience, it really comes down to personal preference.
r/Earbuds • Best Gaming EarBuds ->I have a few gaming earbuds. Reason is I need ANC while gaming and want consistently low latency, which means they need to feature a 2.4Ghz connection (which is usually via dongle). I had the Razer Hammerhead Hyperspeed, JBL Quantum, Sony Inzone and now the Cetra Speednova. The Cetra win hands down as they combine good ANC, decent sound (you can eq them as well) and decent battery life. The weaknesses of the others are: JBL Quantum: Terrible battery life (like 2 hours with ANC on), don't fit my ear well. Razer Hammerhead Hyperspeed: Decent tbh, but they have weaker ANC and when the case is connected to my PC to charge it causes weird issues sometimes. Sony Inzone: Slightly weaker ANC, don't fit my ears well and have the worst constant white noise ever. Without ANC they already have a really high noise floor and with ANC on there is another layer of white noise. They are unusable to me for that reason even though they seem to be the best in all other regards especially with their incredible battery life. That leaves the Cetra, which fit my ears really well and have good anc. The battery life is not as good as the Sony ones but still decent. In general: Don't buy gaming earbuds unless you want to game with them. For gaming though the Cetra are the best in my book so far. I am thinking about giving the Razer Hammerhead Hyperspeed Pro (they have much worse battery life as well though) a shot though.
r/ASUSROG • Thoughts on these Earbuds for 230 euros(Rog cetra true wireless speednova)? ->I have tried the Sony INZONE Buds and the Razer they are both good. I think the Inzone was better on the latency for me.
r/Earbuds • What are the Best Earbuds for Gaming Right Now? ->The **Sony INZONE Buds** are great for immersive sound and low latency, perfect for gaming. For a budget-friendly option, the **Razer Hammerhead HyperSpeed** offers solid performance. If sound quality is your top priority, the **Shure SE846 Pro Gen 2** is unmatched but pricey. Choose based on your balance of gaming needs and audio quality!
r/Earbuds • What are the Best Earbuds for Gaming Right Now? ->I did that. Sony Inzone have static/ white noise issues and JBL Quantum TWS sounds terrible. Razer Hammerhead or the ROG Cetra are much better than the ones from "reputable audio/gear manufacturer" ive listed.
r/ASUSROG • Thoughts on these Earbuds for 230 euros(Rog cetra true wireless speednova)? ->Holy moly this is a sick feature and looks like this is exactly what I'm looking for. THANK YOU for this! I think I found my next set of earbuds. I currently have sony inzone's but I'm having the charging issue one of the ear buds. Recently purchased a set of Razer hammerheads and they're pretty awful IMO so they are getting returned. How has the battery life been on the JBL's?
r/Earbuds • The Best Earbuds for Gaming Today? ->Me and my friend have tested the Pulse Explore, Sony Inzone, and Razer Hammerhead earbuds, but none matched the sound quality of the ASUS ROG Cetra True Wireless SpeedNova. Spent a week comparing each model directly and reached the same conclusion. Therefore, the ASUS ROG Cetra was our preferred choice.
