As a semi-casual listener who owns the Salnotes Zero 2 as well as Sony XM5, I can confirm that there's only a little difference between ldac and sbc. It's all niche gimmicks that won't be noticed by the majority of the audience. And you'll need a really good device to be able to tell the difference clearly - something like the galaxy buds 2 pro. In all honesty, your focus should be the sound quality and does the device sound signature match your preferences. The buds air 7 pro are highly recommend but do your research before you pull the trigger. You can try out many of these ear buds at croma, reliance and similar electronic stores. I myself tested many headphones for myself before settling for the XM5.

Difference in codecs is extremely miniscule and is frankly nothing more than marketing hype, especially with hardware at this price point. The defining factor is tuning. Any idiot can mash together a chipset and claim 'LDAC for best audio quality' and still get smoked by a cheap pair of Moondrop Space Travels on AAC that didn't bother with battery life or good ANC or anything, just focused on tuning and nothing else, not even a lid for the TWS case.  If you believe LDAC makes a perceivable difference over LHDC at this price point where the max you'll get is two drivers in a TWS, you fell for the marketing scam big-time and whatever you experience is placebo. Is there a difference? Perhaps with expensive over-ears but TWS? At this price point? Impossible. If you really value listening to flacs at the highest quality, why aren't you getting a wired IEM? That being said, my top picks in this segment are the Oneplus Buds 4 and Realme Buds Air 7 Pro. I personally use the Buds 4 with a EQ setting i found on reddit because the stock setting is a bit muddled for me, and because it uses rather good drivers the tunability allows me to get a balanced setting that I prefer. I also love the ANC and frankly chose it over the better fit and finish Realme just for the slightly better ANC.

That list leaves out so many top contenders. Realme air 7 pro are my personal pick for call quality in all conditions.

Aur 7 has the best audio quality among these . Lhdc is useless as no one downloads songs to listen. Everyone uses streaming apps for music . Also it comes with best noise cancellation and other features such as transperancy mode.

I have the air 7 pro and I've also used the air 7 . The sound signature is great for the price but u just have to tune them a bit to your liking . For example, I like a bit less base with more focus on mids and trebles. Also , lhdc and these his res codecs are useless and everyone uses streaming apps which don't support them.

Realme air 7 pro or one plus buds 4. None of these even come close. I have listened to them all.

I would recommend the Soundpeats air 5 pro. They have the strongest ANC I've tested in this price range up against many others like the earfun air pro 4, soundcore liberty 4 nc, OnePlus buds 3, realme air 6/7 pro, etc. They also have decent call quality in noisy conditions however if your main priority is call quality the nothing ear (a) would be a better choice. However something unfortunate with the air 5 pro is that the battery life is far too low so having ANC on will most likely lower the battery life to 4-5 hours (excluding if your calling or using hires and multipoint connection which will only reduce it more). Some other pairs I would recommend are the Earfun air pro 4 or the realme air 7 pro

[OnePlus Buds 4](https://amzn.to/4nkclwQ) if you prioritize ANC and a slightly more impactful sound, especially if you own a OnePlus phone. [realme Buds Air 7 Pro](https://amzn.to/4qjZYUc) if you want a more detailed sound while listening (better for vocals/acoustic music) and a slightly longer battery life

Put Raycon in the search bar and while reading, congratulate yourself on the lucky escape you've just had. In terms of what to buy, as you'll notice in this and other posts, there are lots of good options out there each with their own particular strengths and weaknesses depending on what's important to you, what you're planning to use them for, etc. Earfun Air Pro 4 are popular, as are OnePlus Buds 3. I just tested [CMF Buds 2 Plus and Realme Buds Air 7 Pro](https://youtu.be/DP-BTga0lHA) - they are also capable all-rounders.

I have realme buds air 7 pro and I really find them better and more comfortable than my Samsung Galaxy buds 3 pro.

You can find them for around €100 on Amazon, I tested the classic air7s, but the pro ones have real superior quality. What I criticize about the Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 Pro is that when you walk you hear an impact noise in your ears because of your steps, whereas you don't have this problem with the Realme. And the ANC is excellent on the Realme, as is the audio quality. I was able to try the nothing ear(a) and the cmf buds pro 2 but the ANC and the audio quality are much worse.

I use the Realme pro 7, I'm going to simplify these names, they're ridiculously long, and it's very good. In terms of sound, it is slightly superior to the OnePlus Pro 3 and also the 4. HOWEVER, these two Oneplus models have a small advantage: their plastic is less slippery in sweaty situations, I know because I tested it on intense walks; As I like the Realme a little more, I was forced to use liquid silicone tips on it, I used the Angelears model and the EPZ M100, both of which don't fit in the case so I have to take them off at the end of each daily workout. The Samsung Buds Pro 3 is also a very good fit, but much more expensive.

switched from the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro to the Realme Air Buds 7 Pro. The sound is great, the ANC is decent, and they stay in the ear well. The battery is good. Maybe the ambient mode is slightly worse compared to Samsung. overall they are very super earbuds.
