My pixel buds series A just gave out on me (one side, I've had them for a long time) . I'm using my backup Galaxy buds pro. Not my favorite but they do work pretty well. But I've been looking at the pixel buds pro 2. And perhaps this review just pushed me to buy them. Especially with the little sale on them right now

I literally just got mine and went through all the settings. My head is 12 inches from a window AC unit. With ANC on I'm literally sitting in a silent room. I've never had any headphones do that well. Coming from original OG Buds... this is a pretty big upgrade.

My original Galaxy Buds Pro have been great for noise cancellation. I use them on noisy planes and when I'm mowing the lawn. I'm only just replacing them now because they got dropped too many times which cracked the shell and let some rain in. Going for the Buds Pro 3.

Lowest profile & comfortable buds with active noise cancelling that I've tried, that work for me to side-sleep, are Samsung Buds2 & Pro. All of the rest protrude enough that they put pressure on. But if you're not a side-sleeper, anything with active noise cancelling will work.

So because I recently lost my Soundcore charging case and had some other issues with them, I got the Buds 3 pro because the price is now actually affordable. Long story short, pretty mid. Worth the 120€ I got them for but I expected much better given the initial 170€ starting price... The good: Sound quality. They have a really high potential and after fiddling with eq a bit, I managed them to sound better than my Liberty 4 pro did. Out of the box tho they lacked some serious punch and rumble when it was supposed to be there. A bit too flat tuned for my taste. And samsung SSC with UHQ enabled is a solit replacement for LDAC which I used with the Liberty 4 pro. Pairing was as expented also great. It just worked, installed the newest version and everything got explained pretty well. The bad: Transparency mode sounds worse and has alongside with the ANC some noticable whitenoise which already bothers me... ANC itself also isn't much better than the Liberty 4 pro. And the build quality... The Case is ok, although I'm sure the transparent top will age horrible with yellowing, scratched and everything. But the buds.... Oh boy, the stems feel so dirt cheap and hollow, I was shocked when I first took them in my hand. The Liberty 4 pro where mich better there and my old Buds pro 1 without the stem felt much better. I have no idea yet how the battery will do on these but given how my Buds pro 1 held bout 4 hours max with everything ok, I don't expect much here either but even the Soundcore lnly lasted me bout 4 hours before needing to recharge. Overall for 120€ it's ok but they really are nothing special at all. I guess I was a bit too exited for it because the Buds pro 1 have been so great when they released. (Until I lost the charging case for them just like with my Liberty 4 pro LMFAO)

Lmao yk what, I'm gonna return them while I still can. No idea what I'll choose instead for now but I ain't staying on the Buds 3pro. The orientation when putting them in the Case is annoying, the stem this specific stem design just sucks for usability too, missing multipoint is a bigger deal for me than I thought and the nuild quality is just awfull. (Speaking of the gaps in the headphones). The only reason why I really liked the samsung buds before was the IPX7 rating. Took my original Buds pro in the shower all the time and nothing happend but guess what. Took a shower rn, and suddenly the right earbud started screaming with like 17khz or whatever. But it def hurt my ear... Even if the sound is great now after some EQ, in every other way it's just a worse Airpods ripoff that stands out in nothing. It's be interesting to see even they even replace it now in case they figure it out it technically has water damage now but ofc I ain't gonna tell them. Heck, what else is the superior IP rating for when it just does nothing because the build quality is temu like level....

If you are on iOS the AirPods are absolutely worth the investment. I call it investment cz I know that shit is expensive. I tried galaxy buds pro but quickly realised that my ear shape is such that stemless earbuds don’t stay in at all despite trying different bud cover size. I like AirPods because they don’t give me trouble as “sweatslikeapig” person, the noice cancellation is superior, they automatically shift between my iPad and phone the moment without me having to manually change. The head tracked, Spatial Audio and multiple modes of sound suppression/cancellation are added benefits. P.S. I wish they paid me to write such raving recco for them but sadly they don’t and this is coming purely from experience after trying multiple earbuds from the price range of 1K to well 21K.

I've been using Samsung Buds Pro for the last 3-4 years and I've been happy with them. I bought foam tips for a better fit. There are some newer models but I don't know how different they are. I predominantly used them for running. I cannot say it stays put when I get sweaty but I feel when it's getting loose so I'll readjust. At the gym, it shouldn't be a problem.

Got the pros and I'm not mad attm but now that I'm on a budget, they're going back. I like the four NCS better probably just going to get another pair of those... First of all why are you setting expectations for anc in $30 pair. I tried anc in samsung buds pro and immediately turned it off because of cabin pressure. Unless you buy expensive tws anc will be horrible one way or the other And second thing Just say This guy likes generic v shape with bass boost that are made by smartphone brands that have saturated the budget market

I had buds pro 1 but the problem was that they would never fit my ear and kept falling during exercise or even slowly after a while when not moving. I ended up giving up those and fit/comfort wise I prefer Airbuds pro2. However due to compatibility issues I would prefer pixel buds but not sure if I should take a chance again with Buds pro 2. I've been a bit disappointed with the wf-1000xm5 noise cancelling. I need to try different ear tips before giving up on them. My old xm3 seem better than the xm5 Denon Perl Pro, also not that impressed with. Maybe they are too sealed and don't like the feeling and sound quality hasn't clicked for me with personalisation on or off. Soundcore 4 NC, are ok at most things but wouldn't be rushing to use them Moondrop space travel look nice in case, sound pretty good for the price, fit isn't the most comfortable My items not on the list. Most impressed with the soundpeats opera 5, weird fit but great sound, my original Samsung bud pro for convenience and solid performance and the Sony wf-1000xm3 bulky but great noise cancelling

i have galaxy buds pro aswell, and I agree, they fall out and I have to keep forcing them in. its either that or i use the biggest Rubber to hold them, and im not allowed to do anything more then a normal walk, not even "Jwalk" (the faster one, not the skiping) love the surround sound and that crap. im planning on buyinf either oneplus 12 or 13 (that +600 mAh more on 13 sounds juicy) and I plan on buying their buds (for compatibility bla bla bla, idk if it matters, ive hears everyone say that it dosent, but also dont wanna be fighting with galaxy buds pros) as much as ive read, between normal buds and buds pro from oneplus, for those 100€ they dont really add that much, but I guess its for those soundphobes type people (maybe I butchered it, idk how they are called).

Fe might be the best fit in most cases bcz it has wingtips buds3 and 3 pro quite similar to airpods3 and pro respectively, but the big stem might cause discomfort to some ppl. buds pro is the biggest and thickest one, most ppl dont go with it. buds 2 is the smallest but the most slippery pair. buds 2 pro is somewhere in between this duo. buds live is weirdly shaped, meant to be a competitor of normal airpods(comfy for most) but its long shape break its meaning buds 1 and buds+ are similar to fe, but you hardly find a new pair of them these days gear icon x same as buds 1.

Have some Galaxy Buds Pro but they're on the way out pretty much dying after 3 hours of use. I think so time to start researching. What have you guys been using with your Samsungs? Sticking with the Galaxy Buds series or trying other things? My main needs are long battery life to last me on cross country flights, and strong strong noise cancelling. I listen to music but I'm not an audio snob or anything. I'd like to maybe get in the habit of pairing with my TV again so when wife sleeps I can watch (which is why Samsung might be easy) I don't really use them for calls though obviously if something comes in I want to be able to hear them. Easier to connect the better. Love the way my current buds pair. I also prefer buds to "sticks" as far as form factor. Are the newest iterations of the Buds the way to go or is there something better? Not looking to spend a crazy amount, whatever is available at major retailers or club stores or online. ---Tons of responses already. Thank you for all these!

Thank you. I am very disappointed in the 360 audio with the original Buds Pro. When I turn my head i can pinpoint where the soundstage is as I turn my head and eyes closed i can imagine where the virtual drivers are, so I know the psychoacoustics _can_ work, but am very disappointed in 5.1 and 7.1 sources with both 360 and Atmos modess. I mean, the psychoacoustics on Pink Floyd's 1983 album the final cut, and the Qsound encoding on Waters' 1992 album Amused to Death - two binaural stereo mixes that deliver very convincing 3D stages with standard stereo headphones, no decoding necessary. It's a damn shame it's so hard to find convincing surround headphones and earbuds 30-40 years later when we have earbuds with advanced miniature DSPs that have more processing power than the supercomputers of that era.

I have galaxy buds pro. They sound good, noise canceling is very good, bud battery life and case battery life are good. My only problem is that they don't stay in my ears very well, I use them in the gym and feel like I have to constantly push them back in and readjust, even when I'm just doing light cardio not running.I feel like this is mostly due to my ears?... although I've never had this issue with any other ear buds before. Overall they are good. If it wasn't for them not fitting my ears well they would be a solid 10/10 for my needs.

Still using my Samsung Galaxy buds2 pro. Not perfect but great earbuds. Sony Xm4s were what I used before but Sony basically nuked them with firmware updates and refused to refund them. They would heat up charging and were hot to touch, lasted maybe 30 minutes before having to charge again. Before that, they were near perfect after getting foam comply tips. My favorite earbuds have been Galaxy buds pro though, almost perfect in everyway if you didn't care much about ANC, not a priority for me ambient sound is. Good battery, sound, comfortable, everything. Pixel buds 1 were just meh, Bose soundsport free were too heavy and uncomfortable but sound great, Bose soundsport wireless were great until I got sick of the wire. Next buds I want to try are one of Sony linkbuds 2 whenever they come out, Soundcore AeroFit Pro Open-Ear, or SHOKZ OpenFit Open-Ear. I'd like to try a good open ear earbud/headphones as earbuds seem to really be messing up peoples hearing, mine includes. It's not bad, could just be "age" but 28 so I don't know.

My few cents, I'm using XM5 (also Buds pro and FE). XM5 has great ANC but I would NOT buy them again (I got them as low as 135EUR!!) - foams are the worst, but in general they are slippy and uncomfortable. Unfortunately Samsung Buds are not an option for me because of lack of true Bluetooth multipoint. Right now I'm back on Jabra 75t (best earbuds ever for me, just with poor ANC). I'm thinking about new Bose QuietComfort or Jabra Elite 8 or 10. If lack of multipoint is not a problem get Samsung Buds. BTW Buds FE are really close to Buds Pro 2/3

I have the Galaxy Buds Pro (first gen) and they've been fantastic. They only fall out when my ears get really warm inside from wearing + physical exertion, like working on a car or in the yard, or cleaning house. Little bit of sweat + little bit of heated earwax = not enuf friction. But it's a minor issue and obvi not related to the product.

I've dropped them into water, stuck them in the washer and dryer, and taken them to the gym dozens of times and they're still working. I started out with the OG Buds Pro and then switched to APP2, the ANC and sound is better but for me the biggest difference is simply comfort, it's insanely comfortable for using on hours on end in a single session, for me the Buds Pro were always a bit uncomfortable, but it's those long sessions which makes it unbearable.

In August, my Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro will turn 3 years old. They're still as new. They hold a charge very well (both the buds and the case), up to almost a week I think. The only downside is that they seem to have some proprietary silicone tips (they're not your typical round ones), and I lost one. Hoping I can order them at a samsung store, but if not, that wouldn't make them 'bifl' anymore. The noice cancelling is amazing, no remarks there. Though, I doubt they still sell them and I have no clue about the newer models.

Anc dont work great as the sample mics are cover my the liner of the helmet. But the earbud do work well as earplugs. The samsung bud pro was I used on track helmets that meet fim. Without speaker cutouts. The larger sized help keep them from moving g around and have the better hold against the helmet liner.

Noise canceling ear buds act more like ear plugs than noise cancelling. As the sampling mics are blocked so the buds do not send the proper canceling sound wave. But as they do act as earplugs. They do reduce noise. The bad thing with earbug is they can fall out of poistion and be ome super annoying that you need to stop and re insert them. And they do fall out when removing the helmet. Especially full face one. Before good quality bluetooth comm, i use sameaung buds. And they hit the ground on numerous occasions. I have never looked back since going with bluetooth comm kits. My airpod and samsung bud pro are for when I am off the bike. And they last way longer then. 14 hr vs 3 before you need to put the buds back in the case for charging

I have the Galaxy Buds Pro and 3Buds Pro. And have Sony XM5 (overear) Ive had skull candy, bose, JBL, Airpods, and beats before. Sony, Bose, and Beats will have better sound engineering for sure out of the box. With better sound after tuning. I think in that order. Bose is very bass heavy while Sony is tuned better for all frequencies. Then from there you can tune it yourself with the equalizer. Galaxy buds sound is decent at best out of the box. But after some tuning, I got tjem pretty close to my Sonys. But ANC is much better on the Sonys. In terms of device compatibility, connectivity, and App, Samsung all the way. Comfort, I'd give it to Samsung. Overall, i love my Galaxy Buds and Buds3. I do recommend them as a top performer for earbuds. However, take the time to tune the audio for best results. If you don't care about the features and device compatibility and app, I'd vote Sony. Their audio engineering and ANC are top notch. But their app sucks. I use headphones/earbuds 8+hours a day on average. So sound, comfort, and compatibility are top things from me. Samsung has it all. With the exception of sound which will require some tuning to get that sound you want. ANC is good enough that the average person won't tell the difference. I don't use headphones for phone calls. I don't like it. So no comment there.

Never had a different pair of AirPods other than the Pro 2 but the ones I had from other brands with silicone tips pushed themselves out of my narrow ear canal very easily (Samsung Buds pro, Redmi buds 5, Soundcore p20i). The AirPods Pro 2 are the best I’ve had and they stay the longest comparing to the others.

Lol found this post and I'm literally in the same situation. Those buds have been the only ones to have ever stayed in my ear. I'm currently using Galaxy Buds Pro, but like I'm constantly just pushing them back into my ear. Haven't found a replacement tip that works any better. I was thinking maybe the new version (Galaxy buds 3 Pro) would fit better (they have a different design), but like I really wish there was a tip or way to have the ones I got work for my ears without falling out. Anyway if you ever figure out a good replacement wireless pair, let me know please. Unsure if I'll fork over the money for the version 3s (if they are going to slip out like these its a waste of money).

The three that are actually approved by Amazon do not have mics. There are models of the same brand with mics, but they are different colors (as far as I could tell) and aren't approved. I feel the same way about the mic as I do people talking; as long as people are working, idgaf. Amazon is probably worried about the distraction; to many people can't walk and chew gum at the same time. My favorite argument is my personal headphones can provide better hearing protection while still allowing me to hear what's going on around me. I've had managers trying to get my attention with the Amazon headphones and I couldn't hear shit. Meanwhile, I've been around heavy machines and I can hear the person more than the machine. (Galaxy Buds, ANC. Pros and FE)

I had these before my Bose qc 2s. The Bose are better in sound and noise cancellation, but bulkier and have more pieces that can fail. After losing one of the rubber guards it took about two weeks for the plastic casing to separate. I missed having my galaxy buds, their fit was great for me but I lost them and replaced them with far less comfortable galaxy pro 2s My biggest issue with the Bose was size as I fall asleep with earbuds in frequently. Pixel buds pro 2 while having slightly less noise cancellation are great for that with their extremely small size.

The older sony xm3's (and the xm4's albeit its not as easy) have replaceable batteries, along with some of the galaxy buds (they all use the same battery). I guess the fairphone ones are also repairable, but iirc they aren't amazing earphones to begin with. That's likely the closest you're gonna get to a TWS that "lasts". Alternatively, getting bluetooth hooks for wired iems like some of the other commenters here mentioned would also sort of work, since the IEM itself should last a really long time (but now its the hook thats somewhat disposable. Some of them might have batteries that are easy to replace, but I don't really follow them closely)

Pretty much. Galaxy Buds work well especially if you have a Samsung phone. (Features) Especially in the sub 60usd space. Only other option are the Moondrop Space Travel, whose quality of audio is better. The NC is weak, and volume doesn't go up for those who are nearly deaf like me. $27 If you're lucky to find one below $60, the AKG N400NC are amazing and the closest I've gotten to XM5 level of audio and NC but they ate discontinued and AKG cleared the stock at $40. All metal construction, battery life (both case and buds) is decent, tips subjective. If you go expensive, XM5 are the best imo. LDAC, battery life, best ANC, foam tips, vast amount of features, etc.

Yes, that's a good thing. But even that feature is not *new*; which I was going for. I've had it on my galaxy buds for a while now. Probably not as good but still. And I agree. If these can replace buying expensive medical level hearing aids, it's only for the better. And I too have family members thatbuse hearing aids. One of the main things about them (for some reason) is that our older generation (atleast in our case) doesn't seam to like the wear bulky looking ear pieces for pretty much 24/7. It's breen a struggle sometimes. Also, earing aids have some features not available on others, like ability to boost specific frequencies and also quiet others with precision.

Advice needed! I have been looking a long time and tried quite a few earbuds. But I cannot find it. So reddit, hear me out. Back in the day I bought a Samsung S8 and they came with these amazingly nice fitting yet very simple AKG wired ear buds. I still have them and these (and SONY MDR-EX15LP) have been the only ear buds that fitted in my ears without getting uncomfortable after 10 minutes of using. But unfortunately all the 3.5mm jacks are disappearing and the adapters are always a hassle. I am in need of wireless ones. So far I have tried: - soundcore liberty 4 nc (absolute horrible fit) - samsung galaxy buds - jabra 75t - some 3rd party brands I am done trying and wasting money on buds that don't fit my ears. So who can help me find ear buds that resemble the ergonomy of the AKG and sony's I've mentioned? Other requirements that are of high importance to me are: - high grade call quality (as in I need to be able to have a clear conversation while cycling to work through northern winds) - pretty good noice cancelling. Not the absolute best though. I have my Bose QC over ear headphone for that. - simple interface. I am not an audiophile nor a tech wizard. - flawless connectivity with any device. I absolutely loathe things that don't work when prompted. Hopefully some of you can point me in the right direction. I would be forever greatful😁.

Samsung Galaxy buds are pretty solid. Sound great, never had comfort issues. Used to wear them for 8 hours straight and never had issues. Would have to charge them once a week or so.

Are there any earbuds that have multi-point connection, ANC, AND good microphones? I am also facing similar issues with my QC Ultra earbuds. The mics are just garbage. It captures every sound in the background but not my voice. At least on the laptop when I use MS Teams I have an option of selecting the laptop microphone. But when I'm on the move and take calls on my phone, it's very difficult for people to hear what I'm saying.  I was also facing issues with one earbud being louder than the other and I've already gone through 3 pairs. A little bit of ear wax and the performance starts degrading. I need to clean it with a microfiber cloth and screen cleaning liquid at least twice a week. My old Samsung Galaxy Buds were definitely better and cheaper than this. So yes, I would love some recommendation on good earbuds.

I am deeply dissapointed in the Galaxy Buds, ANC is really bad and the problem not in the level of suppresion but the fact that they sometimes differ in each ear, mic noise cancelation is also garbage, I barely could talk in the noisy environment ( like Mall or cars at the highway ) Sometimes they failed to switch off the call mode, sometimes the sound differ in ears. Very unstable, but the most annoyin is instability of the noise cancelation both in and out, I ended up using wired headphones again, planning to test huawei buds pro 3.

Yeah, I've heard they're amazing! I want to get a pair myself sometime soon but haven't quite yet. The Bose QuietComfort and Samsung Galaxy Buds have been my dailies for the last year or so and the QuietComfort is really nice. The Galaxy Buds are fine but don't fit in my ears so well. Anyways, thanks for chiming in!

I use Bose QC2 headphones at home, when I’m out I use my AirPods Pro. Both are great but my Bose are getting on a bit and are 6 years old, so their battery life is not what it once was. I also have Galaxy buds with noise cancelling that are really good but I have an iPhone so AirPods are just easier.
