I have the Bud Pro 1, and nothing I can do will keep the left ear in. I was hoping the 2A would fit better. This is disappointing to hear. Not sure what I will get now. I'll look for better tips, again.
If you can go above your budget a bit I think you'd be happier in the long run. I bought the One Plus buds 3. I had the OG Galaxy buds Pros and noise cancellation sucked. I was gonna buy the Sony XM5s for around 10k but decided not to so I could buy a standing desk and another pair of buds for cheaper. These buds punch above their weight class. They're pretty comfy to wear. When you turn on ANC, the world just goes silent (almost silent), I can't hear my aircon anymore or fan. Weird feeling to have the fan blow on me without noise lol. But outside like when I jog, I can still hear a bit of road noise even with ANC so it's not 100% noise cancellation but I guess it's a good thing (for safety reasons). But with ANC on, I don't have to play music at full volume, it sounds loud enough na at like 40% because it drowns out most of the outside noise anyways. The main reason I got it was also because of the battery life. Lasts like 6+ hrs with ANC on. And much longer with it off.
Any issues exercising with them on? Were they secure in the ear? I've always gravitated towards the v1 Samsung Buds Pro for audio fidelity, but never did quite fit right in my ear. I'm using Buds FE now, not for their sound (they are mediocre imo), but for fitment.
I'm switching from my OG Buds Pro (doesn't hold battery life anymore) to the Sony WF1000XM6 when they come out next month. I don't like the stem design either, and wouldn't mind the quality upgrade Sony gives albeit at a higher price
So because I recently lost my Soundcore charging case and had some other issues with them, I got the Buds 3 pro because the price is now actually affordable. Long story short, pretty mid. Worth the 120€ I got them for but I expected much better given the initial 170€ starting price... The good: Sound quality. They have a really high potential and after fiddling with eq a bit, I managed them to sound better than my Liberty 4 pro did. Out of the box tho they lacked some serious punch and rumble when it was supposed to be there. A bit too flat tuned for my taste. And samsung SSC with UHQ enabled is a solit replacement for LDAC which I used with the Liberty 4 pro. Pairing was as expented also great. It just worked, installed the newest version and everything got explained pretty well. The bad: Transparency mode sounds worse and has alongside with the ANC some noticable whitenoise which already bothers me... ANC itself also isn't much better than the Liberty 4 pro. And the build quality... The Case is ok, although I'm sure the transparent top will age horrible with yellowing, scratched and everything. But the buds.... Oh boy, the stems feel so dirt cheap and hollow, I was shocked when I first took them in my hand. The Liberty 4 pro where mich better there and my old Buds pro 1 without the stem felt much better. I have no idea yet how the battery will do on these but given how my Buds pro 1 held bout 4 hours max with everything ok, I don't expect much here either but even the Soundcore lnly lasted me bout 4 hours before needing to recharge. Overall for 120€ it's ok but they really are nothing special at all. I guess I was a bit too exited for it because the Buds pro 1 have been so great when they released. (Until I lost the charging case for them just like with my Liberty 4 pro LMFAO)
Lmao yk what, I'm gonna return them while I still can. No idea what I'll choose instead for now but I ain't staying on the Buds 3pro. The orientation when putting them in the Case is annoying, the stem this specific stem design just sucks for usability too, missing multipoint is a bigger deal for me than I thought and the nuild quality is just awfull. (Speaking of the gaps in the headphones). The only reason why I really liked the samsung buds before was the IPX7 rating. Took my original Buds pro in the shower all the time and nothing happend but guess what. Took a shower rn, and suddenly the right earbud started screaming with like 17khz or whatever. But it def hurt my ear... Even if the sound is great now after some EQ, in every other way it's just a worse Airpods ripoff that stands out in nothing. It's be interesting to see even they even replace it now in case they figure it out it technically has water damage now but ofc I ain't gonna tell them. Heck, what else is the superior IP rating for when it just does nothing because the build quality is temu like level....
I have medium ears and I can fit everything, I believe the galaxy buds pro 1 were the only one I had to keep readjusting
