I still use them, they are fantastic, they sound very good, and very comfortable. In red they are great! And I have the same case!
Fair enough about word usage, although it still raises my hackles. About the content of your post and specifically the comparisons in the replies to the WFXM6 (these companies need someone to revamp their model names), from personal experience and anecdotal evidence (other content creators and trusted sound tech reviewers), I find it rather specious to claim that the gbp4 is superior, especially with a non Samsung phone. Heck, I would compare it with the xm5 and still find it roughly at parity.
I used to use buds. I loved the buds+ and pro, and I also used a gb2pro - never upgraded to the gb3pro cause of the form factor (and the god awful eartips). But after a while, having so many features being locked off if you didn't use a Samsung phone (I use an honor or Huawei cause I want the IR blaster) irked me to no end. (Also, the price to performance ratio/value proposition of the galaxy phones Vs honor or Huawei is horrendous - saving like 80 bucks on earbuds while spending 40% more on the phone itself? Yeah, I'll pass.) What I will say is the control scheme on the gb4pro is really nice, and the labs feature for tapping the edge is also nice. Also, them finally adding a multiband EQ is a plus point, but that's something the Sony's have had for generations lol. If Samsung ever pushes a flagship that comes with an IR blaster I'll consider it, but that one feature has killed both Samsung and apple for me permanently
It's not about enjoying a specific brand, it's that it offers features other brands simply don't have - specifically, the IR blaster for controlling things like air-conditioning units and similar. Convenient for my at my workplace.
Best Buds ever, nothing later compares, I tried all of them, and none fits so good as Buds+, impossible to fall out of the ear, unlike all "pro" including Apple's (my wife has an iPhone and specifically asked me to NOT buy Airpods for her birthday, she loves Buds+ :) Bought new Buds Core (as a cheap backup) and while they are very similar, still can't match Buds+.
I've had the Samsung Galaxy Buds Plus for years and love them. They're pretty noise cancelling so I just put one in one ear so my other ear can be free to hear my environment, and that works fine for me! I like that they stay put and I basically forget I'm wearing them. They work well with headbands or hats too.
Personally I think the 3pro sound better & I like them more, but I am still getting used to to the shape. They can be a little uncomfortable at times but not so bad I can't handle it. I still keep my buds 2 pro, & buds+ for back ups.
Previously Samsung Galaxy Buds Plus (mega battery life) but now I just use my AirPods Pro 2.
