I have Sennheiser accentum open which are open ear earbuds which I think sound acceptable for the price, but if you want earbuds that don't rest in your ears then you should go with the clip style. There are many options these days from the more expensive ones like bose to the more affordable from sony, anker and earfun.

I got my pair today and I'm really surprised how great they sound using Spotify and audible on my Pixel 9. I prefer the sound profile to my SoundPeats Air 5s, which are a similar design and price.

I just bought the jbl flex tune 2 for $60 on bestbuy and they’re great open earbuds with ANC or you can shut it off and great sound for price. Also bought the sennheiser accentum open for $120 which are crispier and more comfortable than the jbl but no ANC. Better for calls and office work than music. So I kept both. Decided on these over the AirPod 4 to replace my AirPod 2

I just got the new Accentum Open earbuds and I'm totally amazed how good they are. I daily drive my HD800S and I was not expecting much from the earbuds, but they pleasantly surprised me. Very nice tuning, very clean audio, definitely best earbuds I've ever used by far. I might do full review later, but I thought I'd make post about my first impressions so people could ask questions about them, as there aren't any reviews available yet. So please ask if you have any questions.

Yeah they sound very nice. Quite balanced, not too much V-curve that I was afraid of. I really like amount of bass, it's enough, but never too much, but still goes surprisingly low, despite being an open design. I feel like the hinge is solid on my unit, but I don't have much to compare it to, I've always used wired IEM's or headphones before. My only "problem" is the overall shape of the earbuds. It's okay, but it could have slightly more aggressive shape, so the fit would be more secure. But of course this is just about ear shape. And don't get me wrong, the shape is not terrible, they stay in my ears even if I start jumping, but I have to find the right angle. I guess the lightness also makes them feel like they're not locked in there. Overall these are like 10x better than I was expecting when I bought them, very happy with my purchase.

I got mine a few hours ago so I only have been able to do some quick tests with a few songs but sound quality wise the first impressions are really good. Compared with the most similar open earbuds I have (Nothing Ear Stick) I like a bit more the Accentum's sound profile which I feel less fatiguing with more clarity on the highs with just enough bass on the default eq. Volume wise there a very significant difference: I usually drive the Nothing between 50 and 70% but with the Accentum so far I'm comfortable between 30% and 50%. A couple of downsides so far: the closing mechanism of the case feels quite flimsy and weak (definitely not satisfactory as fidget toy), especially the hinge feels cheap. The other downside: neither app (Smart Control nor Smart Control Plus) detects them which I would expect should be fixed soon with an update.

Can’t comment on the JBL’s but I had the accentum open for a weekend and returned them and got AirPod 4’s instead. The accentum were really poor audio quality. AirPods blow them out the water.

I've been using air pods for several years and my third replacement is ready for a replacement due to sweat corosian and frequent battery drain and disconnects. Bought the soundcore liberty open and the senheiser accentum open. Both have sound quality that is comparable. I like the Anker app, and the ability for eq and ANC. I will rarely use ANC because there is a hiss with it on. The buds fit snug with the tips and deeper in ear. The senheiser feels light and barely there. I worry they will fall out but somehow they don't move. I expect these are more comfortable long term. There is no app or eq as far as I can tell. Decisions...

Got the new **ACCENTUM Open** in the mail today. Have just taken a couple of quick picture and unboxed them. As you can see, this is the black version (there’s also a white version available). So, there they are - the first proper (open) „SennPods“. **Just some very early first impressions while I use them for the first time this evening** - The case is quite tiny and very easily pocketed. - Nice matte black finish but seems to still attract some fingerprints. Also the lid feels a tiny bit loose on my unit. The magnets for the buds are quite strong and secure. - They need to be „activated“ upon first use (basically charge them for a couple of seconds via USB-C for them to turn on!) - No wireless charging available on them. - There is NO app (needed). - Pairing was easy on my iPhone as well as my MacBook Pro (they support multipoint). - Multipoint works nicely so far on both devices. - For now, they are quite comfortable and sit firmly in my ears. - The open style is like having a natural transparency mode active all the time which is quite nice but there is no ANC (obviously as per design). - The touch surface on the left and right stems works good (play/pause, next/previous track, volume up and down). - They automatically pause the music when you take them out of the ear(s). - A single bud can be used while the other one charges in the case. - The sound is very clear and energetic. Volume is good and more than loud enough and there is quite a bit of bass even for an open style set of true wireless buds. - 11mm drivers, IPX4 rating, SBC and AAC codecs and up to 28h of battery life in total. Price point at launch: 89.90€. That’s it for now… What do you think? Do you consider getting them yourself? Feel free to ask anything you would like to know! Cheers, Ten.

They sound very good for open style buds. I would, however, mostly use them outdoors and on the go, so sound quality is not *that* much of a priority for me. As for calls, I haven’t tried them yet for phone calls but will surely do so today!
