"Theyre somehow better than my big bose quietcomfort pair"
"Sound: Sennheiser's Momentum lineup, Denon Perl Pros, Technics AZ80/AZ100, and B&W Pi8, in that order (taking into account Sound Personalization and AAT are being used)."

"Initially a loud screech blowing my eardrum. ... Then a crackling like you have a car window open going 80mph. ... Then the headphone completely fails; no sound. ... this song and dance will continue until "oops, you're outside the warranty period, thanks for the $270"."

I've had all four generations of the Momentum True Wireless earbuds. The only one that stopped working all of a sudden is the 2nd generation. Not indicative of anything, but it does seem like they have QC issues.
r/sennheiser • PSA: the entirety of the sennheiser wireless earbuds series is awful when it comes to quality control and will trap you in a cycle of buying and returning the same thing. ->i loved my sennheisers audio quality but the build quality is shit, iv had the momentum in ear tw (original) and the right bud died after about a year, i upgraded to the 2 and the battery life went to hell in under a year as well as the case never seemed to charge them consistently, id have them in the case for a couple days and when i put them in they would be dead. i used the 2s for a couple years despite the issues and skipped the 3s but i got the 4s when they came out and a couple weeks ago the right bud crackled for a day then went out completely so i started using just the left and today it started crackling, its been barely a year for 300$ a pair i expect them to last longer than cheap walmart brand headphones
r/Earbuds • Best earbuds to buy 2025 ->No. I havent heard of replaceable batteries in earbuds. My Sennheiser MTW1s from 2018 still run.
r/Earbuds • Best Wireless Earbuds 2025? ->Yes. You will get 3-5 on a charge usually.
r/Earbuds • Best Wireless Earbuds 2025? ->Comfort wise I found buds with stem design to be the most comfortable —AirPods pro 3 and B&O beoplay ex—the least comfortable for me would be Bose QC ultra, Xm3, 4, and Momentum 3 since those are very bulky. For ANC, AirPods Pro 3s and Bose QC Ultras are top tier and Sony a lil behind. In terms of sound quality, PI7 S2s, Beoplay ex and HiFiman sounds best to my ears. I usually daily drive either AirPods Pro 3 or Bose QC Ultra along with either Beoplay EXs, B&W PI7 S2s, or HiFimans. (One for good ANC and the other for good sound quality)
r/Earbuds • My humble earbuds collection ->Senn on 4 now? I had a pair of 1s but they kept draining while in case. Complained and they sent a pair of 2s and been fairly happy with them. But the anc is weak and pass through needs some filter for the white noise.
r/iphone • What earphones to pair with iPhone? ->I've had the Sony xm4wireless and Momentum 1 and 2. There is no comparison with the Pi8. It's in a totally different class. I guess Denon would be it's equal?
r/Earbuds • My early review of the Bowers Wilkins Pi8 ->Depends, just look at Sony as prime example... No doubt it had best of ANC and sound but it is also pieces of trash....Last time got WF-1000XM4 when it initially came out, cost me around RM1200 .... Used it about year then suddenly one side earbuds battery drain like crazy...cant even listen to half and hour of music.... Then I brought sennheiser Momentum 1 with cost of RM800... Last me about 5 years and still going strong until today
r/Bolehland • Are headphones RM100+ really worth it? ->I had the Ip7 and as a truck driver they had about a 3hr battery life after 1 year they had some troubles connecting once in a while or one wouldn't turn on the driver. 2yrs in and the batter life was down to about 2 hrs on a full charge. Year 3 they died before we got there the left one stopped being loud and wouldn't match the volume of the right one just after the 2nd year mark. So longevity wise they were not the ticket. This all said I can't find head phones that would match the sound quality I got from them. The senheisser true wireless 1 and 2 were good but not better, Jabra elite 7 are ok but still not better? Beat studio buds plus I find to be very very underwhelming and would take the Jabra over them. Looking into the sonys or the bang and olfsen ones not sure what to do either. I use headphones for up to 12 hrs a day so I am hard on them and have killed multiple different ones.
r/Earbuds • Best earbuds to buy 2025 ->I have a dedicated Plantronics headset for voice calls. So far, used both Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless and Bose QC Ultra, both are quite bad for voice calls.
r/bose • Wireless earbuds all have awful mics? ->Would agree that the AirPods Pro 2 are your best bet. I like the sound from the Bose QC Ultra Earbuds but every 1-2 months one bud loses sound and I have to pair them again. So I don't recommend them. I have Sony WF1000XM4 and like them a lot. But if you are going to get those wait for the release of the XM6 this Fall and then get the XM5 cheap. The other I really like are the True Momentum Buds by Sennheiser. But for iPhones the AirPod really works.
