"Literally couldn't think of any pair of IEMs + dongle dacs could sound as analytical as the C3P+ for around $70. ... detail is just sooo much better. The C3P+ is just leagues ahead the I5 in terms of detail and resolution. ... the C3P+ is actually the closest sounding one to really expensive iems or headphone that I have."
"delivers the full package here. ... betting the house regarding this on this pair was fully worth it. ... It matches up (I would not say surpasses) a lot of wired in-ear monitors within this price bracket and slightly above. ... The prowess it shows in keeping the instrument separation clean is something that I really, really appreciate myself for buying this pair, not to mention the rumbly yet controlled, precise lows keep on coming and the highs soar without spice, without hurting your ears."
"Nothing short of a home run, here- the Ear once again brings me all; the way the bass hits on this track is very impactful but not bloated, punchy but not overpowering, and Kendrick’s powerful vocals shine through bright, while I enjoyed the way the Sax keeps on coming in at the right junctions of the song, and the way the cymbals play out on this track is probably one of the best I have heard through amongst all the gear that I have owned and currently own- the first in a wireless, and one of the few if I consider all. ... the timbre sounds natural and uncoloured"

"Theyre somehow better than my big bose quietcomfort pair"
"I've used a razer Basilisk v2 pretty much 9-5 for the last couple of years, and it's still working perfectly. ... Some cosmetic wear, but nothing that effects functionality."
"are going strong and are class for everything - travel and running included."

"We live in NYC and it's perfect for going from taxi to walking."
"It can also be secured without a base (with just a seatbelt) so we can easily get it secured in a relative's car, Uber, or rental without needing to worry about exactly what car is showing up"
"flying to visit our families out of state (no car seats there and easy to put into any family members car)"

"USE THE STOCK ONES, any other tip I tried outside the stock ones, really make the ANC WAY worse, by 60% I would say, and it’s not an exaggeration"
"having somewhat of a shittier ANC. ... For the use of buses or even home, don't even think about it, the ANC goes crazy with the sound of the engine and the passive noise reduction is almost non present. ... I'd rather not having headphones in the bus and actively listen to the engine than to have these headphones and having to actually listen to the engine as well + weird ANC noises + doghsit quality audio. ... this newer model somehow improves in actually nothing and somehow got an even worse ANC even though the first already barely even had at all. ... ANC: it does contain it, but it does not contain it. ... Bluetooth buds have one purpose which is having ANC, and sounding slightly good. These couldn't even deliver on that."
"they are not noise canceling"

"So freaking true! I've returned my Shokz Open Air's 4 times. ... It's so frustrating."
"For people that have not lost their hearing yet and can still hear very high-pitched noises, these earbuds produce a constant high-pitched sound even when both ANC and transparancy mode are disabled. ... This sound is amplified greatly when transparancy mode is enabled so I guess it's related to that feature"
"For Bose, Your *hair* can cause these issues. Their customer service well actually ask you if your hair was near your ears! I wish I was joking... ... And then the ANC will start toggling itself between, *Quiet,Aware,Immersion* repeatedly, the stupid voice saying it over, and over again until you put then back into the case to reset them. If you're home that's fine, but if you're in the middle of a 2-hour workout and nowhere near the case you're done. So you have to take them off, stick them in your pocket until you can get back to the car."

"I wish they fit me better 😭 ... Nothing serious, just really painful for my ear shape. ... The only ones I kept are the second generation. I can bear the discomfort and pain."
"they are bad for the ears and get painful really quickly for me. ... I have to leave them at a pretty low volume compared to my LCD's due to it causing pain much easier."
"You need short stem ear tips for them or you get ear canal pain.I Shorted the stock ones and magic.6,7-10 hours easy."
Would agree that the AirPods Pro 2 are your best bet. I like the sound from the Bose QC Ultra Earbuds but every 1-2 months one bud loses sound and I have to pair them again. So I don't recommend them. I have Sony WF1000XM4 and like them a lot. But if you are going to get those wait for the release of the XM6 this Fall and then get the XM5 cheap. The other I really like are the True Momentum Buds by Sennheiser. But for iPhones the AirPod really works.
r/HeadphoneAdvice • Which Earbuds Should I Buy in 2025? No Budget Limit ->I’m not sure on what version they’re on, but my Sennheiser Momentum TW’s are going strong and are class for everything - travel and running included. I even washed them accidentally and still worked perfectly fine afterwards. Pricey but definitely worth buying for a lot as opposed to repeatedly buying cheap.
r/running • It's time for new earphones, please help with recommendations ->I'm in the exact same boat as you! 1-2 hours is all I get out of my MTW2s. I recently purchased the MTW4 and the technic 100s I will get them between the 12-14th and I can report back with my thoughts if you'd like?
r/Earbuds • Best sounding Wireless Earbuds under $350 ->Sennheiser Momentum's are great
r/GalaxyS25Ultra • What do you consider the Best Earbuds for your S25U? ->Ok thanks. My sennheisr movementum 2 just broke and now I can't sleep (I listen to podcasts to get to sleep) but I also like listening to very minute details in music. I might just need 2 pairs, one for sleep and one of entertainment.
r/adhdwomen • Earbuds with noise cancelling for small ears? ->Just wanna weigh in i had the mtw2s and they have given me 3 perfect years. My 1 year old grabbed one out of my ear and slammed it down in a porcelain tile floor from 6 feet up, and so now that ear has a connectivity issue and will disconnect if i angle my head wrong but when it's connected it sounds perfect. I ordered the mtw4s as a replacement, im hopeful they'll last longer (ill keep the kids away lol)
r/Earbuds • Best earbuds I’ve ever used! ->I use the Sennheiser Momentum and I’m happy with it. For everyone here who is so pro-Shokz: the Momentum has a very solid mode where you can turn off the ANC.
r/Ultramarathon • Advice for Headphones ->I know this is a "buy" thread but wanted to save you from pouring money into Sennheiser Momentum any model. Very reliably unreliable....having two pairs replaced under warranty and still failed on the third.
r/BuyItForLife • Got a long day of travel and desperately need some earbuds with really good battery life and are very comfortable to wear for long periods at a time ->same sound is not better but not returning it as i like the hr when exercising. i have momentum true wireless and it’s leap better, but AP3 has a special case use
r/headphones • AirPods Pro 3 review - everything is better except the sound ->I started with the momentum tws 2, gave up after 3rd warranty ( one of the earbuds died every ~3 months), got the momentum tws 3 instead when it came out, that one lasted maybe 4 months. I wish you that these new ones are better quality. I switched to sonys, I have 6000+ hours in my first pair and they are still like new ( except a slightly reduced battery life, which is acceptable after 1k+ charge cycles), which is more than the cumulative hours I had in all my sennheisers, never looking back.
r/Earbuds • Best earbuds I’ve ever used! ->I’ve had a few gens of the momentum buds including This one, most tend to be buggy and die for random reasons but while they work they’re great! I still have my momentum 2’s and they go hard, both 3 and 4 had battery issues in one bud. You CAN crack them open and replace the battery pretty cheap but honestly I just send em back for a refund get my money back 9 - 15 months later
r/Earbuds • Best earbuds I’ve ever used! ->I have had a few sets and so far so good, i had a set of elite 4 actives which i bought because of the waterproof rating, i wear them literally to go to the sauna where i sit for hours, then have a shower with them in then go into the plunge pool (all the way under) then back into the sauna. i do this daily for about an hour or 2 they lasted about 9 months of that which i thought was pretty impressive honestly, most other earbuds die pretty fast in those environments. they technically still work but they have started getting a little funky in the software department. I have a pair of elite 7 active which i use as sleep buds because theyre low profile and again, no issues, sometimes the process of updating is a little weird but like, it does it... eventually, By comparison i got a pair of XM4's and they had something wrong with the speaker that made it sound like there was a ringing whenever i moved my head, coughed etc. Sony gave me the run around on those even though its a well documented issue I have also just sent back a pair of Momentum TW3 because one earbud just like, died, wont charge any more, those also had a really dicky case where if the buds got just a little bit of ear crud on them they wouldnt charge - again a well known and documented issue, all you had to do was clean the buds and theyd work again but like, i shouldnt have to play roulette once every 2 - 3 weeks on whether my buds will work. Last pair ill comment on is Momentum TW2's, they were pretty good and i still use them but when i work out in them, sometimes one ear will like, lose power, not totally, its still playing but theres no bass, the volume is low, then randomly 2 - 3 mins later they go normal again then they die again and repeat... it was really weird. TLDR: Jabra have been good to me in the 3 pairs i have owned, by comparison every time i spend 400 - 500 on a pair of buds (AUD) they have been pretty fuckin trash..
