Agree on the sound. And performs very well in wet/sweaty conditions. But the battery life is dismal after 2 years, barely lasting an hour. Also, it’s a bigger earbud so it feels bulkier in my ear but has never fallen out. I do love the aware mode that lets you hear sounds in your environment, like traffic or wildlife or passing runners/bikes.

I’ve been using sennheiser sport true wireless for almost two months now and I’ve had no issues with them. I go for a four to five miles run and they stay in my ears. I do cardio and weights in the gym and the stay in my ears. I used to use my AirPods Pro 2 for those activities but now I use the senn sport more often. I have regular size ears and i sweat regular as well. Good luck to you.

I can tell you what not to get. I hate my sennheiser sports true wireless earbuds. They were alright for a while but now the right bud only charges to 20% so it dies on every run lol so frustrating.

I recently got the Senheiser Sport True Wireless. The sound quality is good enough. They come with open syllicone tips, so you can be aware of your surroundings. And they definitely don't move as much, so you don't have to adjust them often.

Does anyone recommend a good pair of earbuds for running that are not only sweat proof but also have fins to stabilize in the ear? My 4th pair of earbuds have just gave out and I'm honestly tired of dealing with expensive earbuds that don't hold up. Here's the ones I've used * Sennheiser momentum sport: latest one, was great until right earbud gave out which I presume to be from sweat * Sennheiser sport true wireless (x2): loved the fins but like the momentum, one earbud gave out after a while. This happened twice * google pixel buds: they don't have fins so they would fall our constantly I do sweat a lot and I think my ears just naturally kick out earbuds so I definitely need fins. Honestly, audio quality isn't as important as long as it doesn't sound like complete crap

Sennheiser sport true wireless. Maybe not quite as open as you’d like but everything else is spot on.

Sennheiser sport true wireless. Sound great, good battery life and have survived a year so far with no issues.

r/sennheiserPoor noise isolation?

The only common thing between the WF-1000XM5 and the Sennheiser Sport TWS is that both are TWS headphones; the similarities end there. While the XM5 has ANC, this Sennheiser model does not have ANC, and apparently, 'Focus' and 'Aware' states can only be achieved by changing the tips. You should compare XM5 with Momentum TW4. I heard it's noise cancelation is not as good as XM5 but but it would be a fairer comparison in terms of sound isolation

r/sennheiserSennheiser Sport True Wireless still decent in 2025 ?

I'm still using these for exercise in 2025. The semi open (aware) tips are great for running, as you don't get any booming/thumping effect from your footsteps. Plus you can hear your surroundings without having to use an artificial transparency mode. The tuning is definitely bass-heavy, but I don't mind that when working out. The fins also work great for keeping them in my ears, whereas the Momentum Sport ones didn't work at all for me.

Sennheiser Sport True, long battery life, proper sound quality, ran in them in storms and had no issues. Might feel weird because they stick out a bit and a bit heavy feeling but you get used to them.

I enjoyed the OG pixel buds, but they conked out and the next gen didn't have the little wing tips which I didn't trust them to stay in without. I went with Senheiser Sport True Wireless in the end. They're clucky but reliable. Adjustable wing tips. Good sound and seal. No ANC - but I don't notice traffic noise with music on. Big touch sensor for switching through play lists and adjusting volume while mid run. Decent battery life. I've run in pouring rain and sweaty heat with them and they're fine. Still going strong two years later, they're pretty resilient - even after being dropped a couple dozen times. The case is quite bulky though so I leave it at home and unless they're in the case they have a weird habit of playing by themselves which runs the battery down.
