Based on 1 year's data from Feb 15, 2026 How it works
Skullcandy Dime 2 or Indy Fuel are cheap and have surprisingly fun low end for heavier music.
I've been running for a year with Skullcandy Indy ANC Fuel buds, they're good, fit super well and have never jostled loose. I only run with 1 so I can still hear some stuff. That said, my local Costco just got the Shokz OpenRun SE in stock today, on sale, and I picked up a pair to see what the hype is about. Good way to use my executive refund lol.
Skullcandy earbuds, I have the indie. Idk about BIFL yet but I’ve had em 6 years and still going strong
Lol the best one didn't even make your silly list: the Skullcandy Indy series. It's the only bluetooth earbud I've tried that 1. doesn't hurt after hours in your ear, 2. stays in while running, 3. has good sound quality. Not to mention, it has a very long battery life, comes in an active noise-cancelling version, and is stupidly affordable compared to other brands. The only downsides are sometimes they don't pair/connect on the first try, and the active noise cancelling (which can be disabled) can cause a very annoying static sound when running through areas with certain RF signals, but I've never had that issue in a setting where noise cancelling is useful (airplanes, buildings w noisy AC, etc.), only on runs (where you shouldn't be tuning out your surroundings anyway).
one of mine fell into my 475F degree oven and kinda melted but kept working
