"amazing, amazing, amazing ANC performance for earbuds! ... not even close in ANC performance vs these (Bose QuietComfort Earbuds (2024)) ... I, for ANC, prefer the approach Bose takes, blocking out pretty much all frequencies."

"Noise cancellation is solid. ... It's on the level of the Bose QC Earbuds, my previous daily driver, and actually sounds cleaner and feels better in the ear. ... Yes! I was also surprised by how good ANC is compared to the Bose buds. ... 10 ... The ANC on the PBP2 is better. ... Mine are much, much better than both my PBP1 and my Bose QCs."

"noise cancelling headphones are such a blessing for me. i've always been sensitive to noise and i get overstimulated easy when out in public. they give me silence and privacy when I need it. worth every cent!"

"I put them in my ear, put the helmet on, then do one final “push” with my finger to seat them in my ear for the ride. ... The batteries die before they work out of my ear."

"they are so comfortable that both I and my husband have had to feel our ears to check whether we were still wearing them."

"Also super bonus I've never head banged with earphones this hard besides with these soundcores, they stick to me like glue even when I'm in a metal mood and I'm headbanging for a good hour."

"Literally couldn't think of any pair of IEMs + dongle dacs could sound as analytical as the C3P+ for around $70. ... detail is just sooo much better. The C3P+ is just leagues ahead the I5 in terms of detail and resolution. ... the C3P+ is actually the closest sounding one to really expensive iems or headphone that I have."

"delivers the full package here. ... betting the house regarding this on this pair was fully worth it. ... It matches up (I would not say surpasses) a lot of wired in-ear monitors within this price bracket and slightly above. ... The prowess it shows in keeping the instrument separation clean is something that I really, really appreciate myself for buying this pair, not to mention the rumbly yet controlled, precise lows keep on coming and the highs soar without spice, without hurting your ears."

"Nothing short of a home run, here- the Ear once again brings me all; the way the bass hits on this track is very impactful but not bloated, punchy but not overpowering, and Kendrick’s powerful vocals shine through bright, while I enjoyed the way the Sax keeps on coming in at the right junctions of the song, and the way the cymbals play out on this track is probably one of the best I have heard through amongst all the gear that I have owned and currently own- the first in a wireless, and one of the few if I consider all. ... the timbre sounds natural and uncoloured"

"If you care about call quality and noise cancelling during calls then Huawei is the the way and only way to go ... Best overall for calls ... nothing comes close to the Huawei free clips in terms of call quality! ... mic quality for calls is mileeeees ahead on the Huawei."

"I wanted really good call quality because I take a lot of calls when I'm on a call in central City, and they have been amazing. ... I take a call in a cafe full of people and crying kids and the other person can't hear a thing"

"I can definitely tell that the mics have improved. The mics in general are more targeted. You can now have ambient sound amp voices in front of you. And I find that Bixby catches what I say better. ... Good. They really shined in times sqaure"

"Crazy good from the jump! ... When you factor in they're only $99 and go toe-to-toe with Bose QC Ultra at $299, this is the deal of the year!"

"Can't recommend them enough for the value, sound like $200 earphones."

"bad connection with pc vía USB (im not making the de mic work)"

"I had many times where sonar audio devices flat out wouldn’t work properly and required a restart or reinstall to fix, and I got tired of it."

"The one problem I have with them is when they go into a standby mode and come out of it, the mic stops working, both on Bluetooth and with the dongle. ... So like if I'm in a Discord chat and I mute for 20 minutes and come back, I have to put the buds back in the case and take them out for the mic to work again."

"constant connectivity issues I experienced. ... The buds would randomly not turn on when taken out of the case, or just one wouldn't turn on, or they wouldn't connect, or sometimes the buds would randomly disconnect/reconnect, or sometimes the buds would disconnect from each other. ... I really wanted to keep them but they were borderline unusable, even after an update."

"Randomly my right ear bud started to disconnect ... after going through some trouble shooting I forgot this device but now what’s happening is the right ear bud won’t charge at all. ... With the right earbud not making connection at all I can’t even get the case to connect either lol. ... taken into consideration that these are 11 days old and I’ve not used them every day"

About 6 months now. No battery problems, still getting me through nearly 10 to 12 hours with ANC or Transparency. I've used the XM4s and LinkBuds before, and I can say that I've had issues with both in terms of connectivity. As for battery, I think that's an issue with earlier models, it should be a lot less prevalent with the XM5s

I’ve got the same issue and I’m choosing the right model too. Here are options that match what you’re looking for: JLab JBuds Mini — among the tiniest (~3.3 g per bud); often a great fit for smaller ears. No ANC, but the ultra-compact shell means you’re unlikely to get rubbing.  Soundcore A20i — very small (~25 × 19 × 16 mm, ~5.2 g per bud); comfy and inexpensive. No ANC, but they tend to fit almost any ear.  Sony LinkBuds S (WF-LS900N) — lightweight (~4.8 g per bud) and one of the most comfortable with real ANC; small, rounded housing. If you want a quality sound + secure seal, this is the safest “premium” pick.  Alternative: Sony LinkBuds Fit (WF-LS910N) — even more comfort-oriented. The Air Fitting Supporters distribute contact inside the outer ear (no hooks; they don’t interfere with glasses). If your left concha (the bowl of your outer ear) is very small, these can help spread pressure away from sensitive spots. (~4.9 g per bud).  Sony WF-C700N / C710N — light (~4.6 g per bud on C700N), designed for small ears; ANC is decent. WF-C710N is the 2025 refresh with improved ANC/touch controls.  Samsung Galaxy Buds2 — very small, rounded capsule; comfortable with good sound and competent ANC. (Not the FE.) ~5.0 g per bud; 17.0 × 20.9 × 21.1 mm.

I've just replaced mine, I have weird shaped and small ears so I ordered like 7 different pairs, from Bose ultras down to some odd Amazon knock-off brands to compare both fit and quality. The Sony Linkbuds S were far and away the winner for me, quality is great, I think it spent £109, and I personally found the noise cancelling better on them than the Bose at twice the price. Partly due to the fit I'm sure, but still really impressed My previous pair were Melomania 1+, I loved them at the time but I think my Sony's are even better now

Well, I’ve bought a pair of Linkbuds Fit for my girlfriend (she has relatively small ears, not miniature, just on the smaller side for a woman, not sure how they’d compare to yours😅), and unfortunately she complains of ‘ear pain’ after about an hour of use. I tried them multiple times myself (my ears are on the smaller side for a man) and they’re awesome, never had a problem with them being painful after prolonged use (a problem I experienced with my APP), the sound is respectable (not APP2 level, of course), and they stay in the ear really well! Oh, and the gestures are nice, I find them particularly useful when riding my bike as you don’t have to search for the button like on the APP, you can just tap your whole ear with your palm/finger if you want. If the APP2 fit you in general just don’t stay in your ear, I’d say the Linkbuds Fit might be an option for you. Just don’t forget to enable Bluetooth headset priority when taking/making calls in Accessibility settings on your iPhone, otherwise you’ll have to manually select your earphones everytime, since they’re not a ‘native apple product’. Good luck! Edit: grammar

No worries😁 I’ve had them for a couple of months only. Correct me if i’m wrong but i think they were released mid-november 2024. I mean the hooks are hollow inside, they are made of a soft material (think silicone/rubber), so they’re soft and adapt to the shape of the ear. Imagine a miniature balloon with walls thick enough to support its shape, but thin enough to be soft and adapt according to the shape of the ear. There’s air inside the hook, but they’re not air-tight, as in you cannot puncture them by accident. As far as my experience goes, i did not notice anything particularly alarming so far, they seem well-made to me. Additionally, you can buy official replacement hooks for a reasonable price (20€ i think). edit: grammar. Oh, and from the pictures online i was afraid that the case would be bigger than that of APP, but it’s actually tiny and even more pocketable than APP. It’s a tiny bit taller, but a square, so a bit shorter in width. Overall, was pleasantly impressed by the case. In this photo you can see the silicone/rubber material of the hooks i was talking about more clearly. The photo is not mine, found it online, the buds are with my girlfriend currently. https://preview.redd.it/vq6gmuqwhrfe1.jpeg?width=1000&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a9426a0f9ad8840b4f51794333bbc4a39e58e172

They’re older, but the most comfortable wireless earbuds I’ve encountered are the Sony Linkbuds S. The main reason I bought them was because I read so many comments about how comfortable they are compared to everything else out there, and it really is true. And the sound quality is very good as well.
