"I prefer the 500 for the battery life ... They last a long I’ve got a pair 3 years that still hold a charge and work fine."
"each earbud last about 10hrs by itself ... I only have one in at a time."
"where they really shine is battery life. ... I charge the case on the weekends and listen anywhere from 9-11 hours a day. ... I only wear one at work, so on the odd days I work over 11 hours and get the “battery low” signal, I just pop in the other one."

"survived 2 full wash and dry cycles ... me dropping the whole case and buds across the floor at Costco and shattering the case into pieces. Still work great."

"COZ THEIR CALL QUALITY IS FUCKING TRASH ... the other side hears the breeze around me more significantly louder than my voice!! ... If im using wfxm4 and cf500 and a call gets in, i have to turn off the buds"
Sony wfc500 at around 4k. Everything is very good about it
I use the Sony WF-C500 and clarity and tuning is good for the price, its lightweight and comfy for multi-hour use, and exceptional battery life (around 10 hours on a single charge). Simple controls and reliable Bluetooth make them low-fuss too which I like and prefer
Still use my WF-C500s
Shokz is good but I don't like the sound, for ultrarunning I want to be able to shut off the outside world and listen to some 'good' music. Sony WF-C500/WF-C510 have been my go to, they cost between 30-50€ for a pair, seem to withstand heavy rain and sweat, sound OK (a lot better than bone conducting like Shokz) and most importantly they last 10 hours on a charge.
also had them, they are pretty good. I upgraded to the c700n and they are worth the extra bit of money
I've had WF-C500s for a couple of years now, and I use them for genuinely about 6 hours a day. The batteries are great, they fit my ears better than most, the controls are well-tuned, and they've always sounded great. I spent £30 on them from HMV and it might be the best value for money I've ever got. When or if they ever need replacing, it will be Sony WF-C's I replace them with, so I'm glad to see that the newer models are just as good value
I have the Sony WF-C500, I've barely used them with the Deck because I haven't really needed to but they did work great with no issues.
If you liked the Jabra Elite 3, I’d say the closest all-around upgrade under $100 is the Soundcore Space A40. It’s got a balanced tuning with punchy bass, really compact shells that sit comfortably even on smaller ears, and a marathon battery life. If you want something super lightweight and simple, the Sony WF-C500 is a great option, very comfortable, clean sound, and no unnecessary frills. But if you want to stick with what you know, the Jabra Elite 4 is basically the natural successor to the Elite 3, with a similar fit and sound signature plus a few extras like multipoint and app EQ. Personally, I’d lean A40 first, WF-C500 if comfort is your top priority, and Elite 4 if you just want to stay in the Jabra ecosystem. And before you decide, try checking out the tuning on [audiotones.co](http://audiotones.co), it’s a handy way to get a feel for how these sets sound before you buy.
Yeah, sadly a lot of TWS buds start acting up around the 1–2 year mark because the batteries and charging contacts take a beating, so you’re not imagining it. In your $70–$100 range, I’d look at something simple and proven like the Sony WF-C500/WF-C700N (depending on sales) or a Soundcore option like the A40 if you want the best value. They’re usually solid for calls and don’t require a lot of app babysitting once you set them up. Buying from a place with an easy warranty/return policy helps a lot too. Before you pick, it’s worth checking the tuning so you don’t end up with sets that don't fit your vibes. try [audiotones.co](http://audiotones.co) to check first and see what sound profile matches what you like.
absolutely not worth the price. The case battery life is about 2 charges to the earphones, they don't have anc, the sound quality is very regular, frequently get disconnected and interference.Right now I'm struggling with pairing them since they got unsynced from each other, WF-C500 are a better option on the price range but I would go with the Realme Airbuds Pro 5 or 6 if I was you. They are unbeatable for the money they cost.
Just get the Sony ones from jb. I've been through a fee different types over the years. They've been best and most reliable. On my third set each time it was my fault they got damaged. They go for my whole day at work and the 30 minute commute each way. I only use one. I listen mostly to podcasts all day in a noisy building. They're comfortable enough to not notice unless you think of them, kind of like socks.
