WI-1000XM2

I use the SONY WI1000XM2, the wireless neckbands, they are 5 years old now, and still work great except in anc mode because of some water damage but passive NC is good. They have an aux input which is great. And, this kind of neckband earphones are the best while riding a motorcycle. I just tuck them into my shirt when not in use, won't even feel it's there. Not the answer you're looking for but, this are the one I use.

I haven't taken a flight without ANC headphones or earbuds in like 6 or 7 years since I got my XM2s as my first set. Love it for blocking street and subway noise too. But if you don't fly often, don't live in a city or use subways etc. A lot then yeah ANC doesn't need to be the priority

I have a Sony neckband, forget the model, but there's only two with anc. With upgraded sonicfoam tips. It's my go to on transatlantic 11 hr flights. Also haveva collection of the Anker sound core buds that do well

Bose quiet comfort 2. At least for in ear. Over ear id go sony xm4. But I also like noise cancelling and bass. I tried the sony xm earbuds and they were horrible compared to bose.

I will have to take this into account for future purchases. I mainly use Sony's because their ANC is really good especially paired with the quality sound. Most of the time I am using earbuds it is in noisier places. When I am at home I use headphones. But I am always on the lookout for good earbuds. I have tried multiple Sesnheisser's in the past, but I prefer the Sony 1000X series better.
