I use the Soudpeats Air 3 pro - they are not noise cancelling so I can still hear everything going around me, but super reliable and great sound quality. Never had any issues with them falling out my ears.
From my experience using soundpeats air3 pro and air 4, i go for earfun air pro 4. I have battery issue with my both soundpeats air series and up until now my earfun didn't have it
Right, but don't you want to hear your surroundings on a commute? I have some cheap open-ear wireless earbuds called Soundpeats Air3. They let me hear my music and they let in ambient sounds - so I can still hear what is going on around me. They're not going to give you concert hall quality audio, but they're perfect for safely commuting while listening to music or podcasts
Hey guys, I have been on a search for earbuds that fit like gen 1/2 airpods. Idk why but they fit my ears perfectly, it feels like I have nothing in my ear, all other earbuds annoy me after a while. So far I have tried, airpods 4, soundpeats air 3 and HUAWEI FreeBuds SE 2. They are all decent but still don't have the same level of comfort. I am considering buying rep gen 2 airpods if I can't find anything, but I would prefer usb c. Cheers.
I have Nothing ear 2(a) and they sound pretty good at least to me, i trust the Nothing series to be similarly sounding, their app is pretty useful too and the buds looks great imo But ultimately I still prefer semi in ears for long hours comfort as i don’t really enjoy in-ears much so my daily driver is the Soundpeats Air 3 i think they are great for comfort, sound quality is fine but not too good in noisy places as they are semi in ears Samsung might be a good pick to pair with your phone, there should be some unique features and i think they have demo buds in stores, perhaps you could try them out if it’s available in your area
Coming from four years with the Air3, I had real expectations. Here's where things stand. **Fit and ergonomics** The new housing is extremely position-sensitive — a slight shift and the sound changes noticeably. With the Air3 that was never an issue. The surface is also noticeably slippery, so every touch attempt tends to move the earbud out of position. Worth noting: earlier production units apparently used two different colored plastics, which makes me wonder if the material or surface finish varies and affects grip. This reminds me of the Apple AirPods 3 situation — a first-gen design that didn't land ergonomically, with many users going back to gen 2. Apple addressed everything with AirPods 4, even though the visual difference between 3 and 4 is barely perceptible. That's exactly the point: details matter. Apple kept gen 2 available as a fallback while they sorted it out. SOUNDPEATS discontinued the Air3 and left nothing comparable in its place. **Touch controls** Working maybe 10% of the time. Double-tap in particular feels like a lottery — slow, faster, fast, it mostly registers as a volume change regardless of intent. And without any audible tap feedback, there's no way to even know if an attempt registered. The Air3 erred too far in the other direction (overly sensitive), but this has overcorrected badly. Why was beep feedback removed instead of made optional in settings? **The limiter and EQ situation** There's some kind of dynamic limiter baked in — push the bass or volume even slightly and both start fluctuating in a distracting, inconsistent way. EQ adjustments don't help; you're just fighting the limiter. Dynamic EQ mode bypasses it, but the result is overblown and unnatural. And if you're on LDAC, Dynamic EQ isn't even available — so you're stuck with the problem regardless of what you try. The Dynamic EQ itself is actually impressive when it works, but I'd like a slider to tune its aggressiveness. Same goes for the limiter — why is it hardcoded? A simple toggle in the app would respect different use cases and source devices. These feel like decisions designed around a mythical average user, at the expense of the people who actually pay attention to audio quality — which is exactly the customer SOUNDPEATS built its reputation on.
I have Soundpeats Air 3 with dying batteries but like sound so much that don't know what to upgrade to.
Hi all, Can someone please recommend me a pair of ANC earbuds that stay in ? The ones that I tried so far are \- Airpods first gen: my first pair of TWS, they were great but lost them \- Soundpeats air 3: my current earbuds, they're fine, but they're not great \- Pair of generic hook earbuds with sillicone tips: I used to use these ones years ago and they seemed to stay in my ears while running \- Nothing ear (a): loved them but they didn't stay in my ears at all, I tried custom tips and weren't much better \- Soundcore pro 4: Just returned them, great earbuds but same as nothing ones, they don't stay in my ear. After a short period of time, my ears get quite sweaty and they keep falling off. Can someone please recommend me a pair of earbuds that have ANC and stay in ? Or even with custom sillicone/memory foam tips ? Would prefer not to spend over \~200-250 on them. My next choice would be sony linkbuds fit or beats fit pro due to the wing tip Thanks all !
