Just got these. They're comfortable and sound WAY better than the Soundpeats Air 4 I was using a lot. Also more stable in my ears - I think the wings are a great design. The noise cancelling unfortunately is pretty weak for me, probably due to individual fit more than anything. The Soundpeats NC is also quite weak so that's really a lateral move. I was hoping for more there since the Soundcore in-ears I have are so good, but c'est la vie. They're a big sound quality and comfort upgrade for when I don't want something plugging up my ears 🙂

From my experience using soundpeats air3 pro and air 4, i go for earfun air pro 4. I have battery issue with my both soundpeats air series and up until now my earfun didn't have it

I tried my SoundPeats Air4 but for some odd reason there’s a major delay and I haven’t been able to fix it.

If you don’t want to have ear pain wearing it for more than 30 minutes than go for Soundpeats Air5. I am using air4 and you don’t even feel you have it simply plugged into your ears. It’s light and doesn’t have rubber tips that makes your ears itchy.

Check out Soundpeats on Amazon AU. Brilliant sound comparable to far more expensive models, at a fraction of the price. Had my Air4's for nearly 3 years now and still going strong.

Instead of looking for the best "open earphones" that usually have at best iffy sound quality you'd be better off looking at modern earbuds that are typically called flatheads nowadays to distinguish themselves from IEM and TWS options. Sound quality has come a long way from the cheap junk that used to come with MP3 players and there are a lot of affordable options to choose from with a wide array of sound signatures. Your best bet to narrow down your options would be to post on the [Earbuds Round-up thread](https://www.head-fi.org/threads/earbuds-round-up.441400/) with your preferred sound signature and music tastes as it's one of the best sources for flathead reviews and impressions that I've found. A good budget set that's well-rounded is [OpenHeart's Nightingale](https://www.aliexpress.us/item/3256804183827824.html) which is one of the cheapest flatheads with a removable cable and punches way above its weight in terms of bang for buck. You likely won't find a lot of TWS flatheads as I can only think of two: Moondrop's Block which has a warm sound signature but poor sound quality and Smabat's S2 Pro which has a very bright and harsh signature. Your best bet would be to find a flathead with a removable cable that has your preferred sound signature and use adapters such as TRN's BT30 Pro or Fiio's UTWS5 2025 to turn them into TWS flatheads. There are some semi in-ear TWS earbuds from SoundPeats that sound good but they will block your ear canal so they'll likely have the same problem that IEMs do but if you want to give them a try then SoundPeats' Air4 (not the Lite) is a good option for the money. Just make sure to turn on ANC and go through the custom sound profile setup as by default they don't have a lot of bass.

I still use the Comfobuds as my keep in the pocket pair, for the comfort, unobtrusiveness, and speed of connection after removing them from the case. They have developed an issue where sometimes they'll wake up inside their case and connect to my phone when I don't want them to. For my home listening I use a pair of Soundpeats Air buds. The music quality is better and being open air I still feel "present" in the room and can sing along without sounding weird. My work pair is now some Linkbuds S. They have good call and music quality and really excellent active and more importantly passive noise isolation, along with low latency mode I can game with. Their downside is they stick out a bit far from my ears. I tried Bose QC 2s and hated them.

I like these but prefer the Capsule3 Pro+. The xMEMS high frequency drivers give my ears the shimmering crispy highs I need. More comfortable for me too. Either one is a great value. Our ears are all different.
