SoundPeats Air 5. Cracking buds for the price and often on offer.

I got my pair today and I'm really surprised how great they sound using Spotify and audible on my Pixel 9. I prefer the sound profile to my SoundPeats Air 5s, which are a similar design and price.

They are priced well. I like these. Bass is better than expected. I like Soundpeats Air5. Comfortable and sound really good. They have ANC. They just came out with a lower priced Air5 Lite that doesn't have noise cancelling. I haven't heard them.

I bought another when they upgraded to Bluetooth 5.3. I have my older ones paired with a Vizio TV. They sound really good. I do think the Air5 is even better but they fit my ears ok.

I like these but prefer the Capsule3 Pro+. The xMEMS high frequency drivers give my ears the shimmering crispy highs I need. More comfortable for me too. Either one is a great value. Our ears are all different.

Latest Soundpeats Air5 are my current favorite of that type. Both bass and ANC are better than expected. About $80 USD.

I bought the following on Amazon, tested all of them (audiophile obsession level), then returned all but kept one: HiFiman Svanar Wireless Audio technica AZ80 Denon Perl Pro Edifier Stax Spirit S10 Edifier NeoBuds Pro 2 SoundPEATS Capsule 3 Pro+ SoundPEATS Air5 My top 3 were Denon Perl Pro (please go for this one and you won't be disappointed), AZ80, & Svanar Wireless (this is one of the best sounding along with the AZ80 & Denon, but the Svanar has issues with dropping on Android phones, and the battery life is dogshit)

You can hear what they sound like [here](https://youtu.be/ai7jujoC87M). I recorded the output of the Air5 and other semi in ear options (well, the man ones that have active noise cancellation specifically) using Binaural mics. It will at least give you an idea of what to expect before deciding whether to pull the trigger

I just compared the main semi in ear models with ANC out there - https://youtu.be/Pn8jPFtjR_4 (and [here](https://youtu.be/ai7jujoC87M) for the sound test) In short, nothing comes close to the Apple Airpod 4 for ANC, sound and design on iOS. On Android, you lose quite a bit in terms of features and functions and might want to consider one of the other models, all of which have their compromises. The Huawei FreeBuds 5 were ok, but their unique shape didn't really work for me. The Samsung Buds 3 felt a bit beta with some software-based glitches, and the Airpod 3-style design didn't work as well for my ears. They also lack true multipoint. Soundpeats Air5 are also ok - they have five different ear anatomy settings that allow you to personalise the ANC to your ear shape, but they lack a few features like wear detection etc. The QCY model are good bang for buck, but the sound and ANC fall a bit behind the others (as you would expect being a true budget option) The Oppo Enco Air3 you mentioned are nice enough - basic but fine, but they don't have ANC

Agree with all the points except better microphone. I cannot be heard by the caller when I use the MTW4, the sound is low and feels like coming from a distance. I have bought the much cheaper Galaxy Buds FE to be used exclusively for phone calls while the music listening happens on the MTW4.

I have the soundcore k20i cheap earbuds and they do function well mainly for calls because of the mic. Soundpeats Air5 absolutely shit mid range earbuds that don't function well on calls, stuttering bluetooth connection but anc is amazing. Airpods 4th gen ANC, tried the apple ecosystem, that spatial head tracking when connected to 2 devices interrupts the Bluetooth and there's no option to permanently turn it off, haven't fully explored other things about it.

Hey I will just say that from what I’ve experienced it’s hard to get a lot of bass from open ear buds due to lack of seal (no tips). Just because of sound physics high bass comes from it bouncing around in a closed space. That’s why with headphones, closed off pairs have a lot more bass than open pairs. However, I could maybe recommend the SoundPEATS Air 5 (or air 5 lite) as you could use the app to EQ and add more bass.

Get something like the JBL live flex 3 and for a cheaper option I also recommend the Soundpeats Air 5. Both do an excellent job at being semi in ear.

I don't know if it's relevant or not. But I am more of a semi-in-ear user as full in ear (rubber knob) buds give me a headache. So in that area, after some homework I came across soundpeats air 4 and air 5. These are good ANC earphones with semi-in-ear design. Air 4 is around 9k and Air 5 can be bought at 13k. I bought air 5 after some reviews. The sound quality is good with a good ANC. (it's not the best as semi-in-ear technically can't cancel noise but does reduce it to a good considerable level).Look it up on the internet check reviews and do consider it.

I still use the Comfobuds as my keep in the pocket pair, for the comfort, unobtrusiveness, and speed of connection after removing them from the case. They have developed an issue where sometimes they'll wake up inside their case and connect to my phone when I don't want them to. For my home listening I use a pair of Soundpeats Air buds. The music quality is better and being open air I still feel "present" in the room and can sing along without sounding weird. My work pair is now some Linkbuds S. They have good call and music quality and really excellent active and more importantly passive noise isolation, along with low latency mode I can game with. Their downside is they stick out a bit far from my ears. I tried Bose QC 2s and hated them.

Just got them yesterday. Much better than my Samsung Buds+. I listen to audiobooks and music from my phone. Today I was at Dunkin and it's a noisy place with their music and A/C. The ANC did a nice job of blocking it all out. 10% coupon at Amazon make these hard to pass up.
