I own Ultra 1&2, JBL T pro 3, XM1000 5, B&W PI 8, Cambridge M100, AZ100, Final Audio Tonalite. Recently, I also tried SoundPEATS H3 & Pro5. My daily driver will be: 1. Final Audio Tonalite, 2. Ultra 2, 3. H3, 4. XM5 the rest remain with my collection cabinet together with Headphones. I just simply loves to explores values for money TWS and headphones. I had a chance to try the Sony WF-1000XM6 at a shop in my area. While they were a good pair of headphones, I ultimately decided against purchasing them, as I didn't feel that their specifications significantly improved upon the Final Audio Tonalite. Furthermore, I'm pretty dissatisfied with Bluetooth 5.3, whilst, given upcoming DAPs, mobile phones, etc., are already using at least 5.4V to 6.0V. Don't get me wrong, XM6 remains amazing all-around, including your curated EQ, just not my style when it comes to Bluetooth 5.3v.
Soundpeats air 5 pro+ has best anc and soundquality around 100 usd. Bose qc ultra gen 2 earbuds and airpods 3 pro are tied for the best anc in the earbuds market.
I just got the SoundPEATS Air5 Pro+ yesterday, and they sound better than my Jabra Elite 85t. I think gonna enjoy them.
To be fair on the Air5 Pro+, getting 4 hours with both ANC and LDAC active on an xMEMS driver is actually pretty standard. xMEMS tech is notoriously power-hungry. If you just run them on aptX or turn off ANC for a bit, they easily last much longer. For a normal commute, 4 hours is plenty anyway.
The QCY Melobuds N70 is surprisingly good for the price if you want to try a MEMS tweeter. If I use it back to back with the Soundpeats Air5 Pro+ they both have their own qualities. I didn't know EarFun made an earbud with xMEMS.
I have loved the Air5 Pro+ ever since I luckily got it in October. Just in terms of sound quality alone, the treble almost rivals my Prestige LTD in terms of how fast it can replicate everything from the upper mids above. Just another slight bit of dynamics in the bass region this would be an endgame for many people.
Yea. The crazy thing is that plugging my Prestige LTD with something that is respectably well known like Cayin RU7 does not give a treble this smooth. I am talking about plugging the iem into something like a DX340 and the Air 5 Pro+ did 80% of the job on its own, which is insane.
I highly doubt both of them could be comparable to the Air 5 Pro+ because xmems driver makes it sound like an open-back headphone. That's how good it is.
The build is very close to AirPods and the app is still a bit buggy. But overall it's pretty solid for the price.
Soundpeats Air 5 Pro+. Very good sound and ANC.
