"blocks background noise amazingly for its price."

"Capsule shines in sound quality and I've used high end earbuds too but Capsules are hands down the BEST sounding earbuds I've ever used under 50K. ... Yes gives tough competition to flagship ones in terms of sound. ... So again for Pure sound quality, Good ANC and No Gimmick, Capsule takes the crown ... For pure sound, Capsule 3P+ still takes the crown"

"The Soundpeats capsule 3 Pro plus have the best ANC for this price range as far as I see. ... Better overall performance than the earfun air 4 pro and the liberty 4 nc from soundcore"

"Literally couldn't think of any pair of IEMs + dongle dacs could sound as analytical as the C3P+ for around $70. ... detail is just sooo much better. The C3P+ is just leagues ahead the I5 in terms of detail and resolution. ... the C3P+ is actually the closest sounding one to really expensive iems or headphone that I have."

"I'm very happy with mine (especially at that price). ... I work with the HD 800 A (paid 1800$) for audio editing/premixing and when I listen to my down mixes with my cheap Capsule 3 pro+ buds, I'm always amazed by their rendering."

"can deliver sound wayy above its price point due to XMEMS tech simply being better. ... The clarity, soundstage, detail, etc is really great."

"the battery life for me is a deal breaker."

"If you need decent battery, I would pass on them as their battery life is under 4 hrs. ... Main takeaway is if you need decent battery life I would probably skip the Soundpeats."

"battery life takes a hit at 5 hours with ANC and LDAC."

"Did you really get it to work with LDAC? How? The app doesn't even have a setting for it. ... And the BT connection settings on my Pixel 7 says the C3P+ connection has Spatial Audio, but not LDAC. ... I have many LDAC headphones, all have an app toggle and for all these, my P7's BT connection clearly shows LDAC, so it's definitely not an issue on the phone side. Definitely something with these buds. ... The fact that the app has no LDAC toggle is a *giant red flag*."

"battery life takes a hit at 5 hours with ANC and LDAC."

"LDAC must be enabled to get the audio quality"

"Main downside is there is no proximity sensor, so music/video will continue to play after you take off earbuds."

"in-ear detection (which the Soundpeats lack, alas) ... I just wish that it had in-ear detection."

"If its metal genre this buds not for you because the xmems driver is kinda harsh on metal and epic musics."

If you want actual quality and care about little else, Creative Ace Aurvana Mimi or Soubdpeats Capsule 3 Pro Plus. Those xmems drivers really are something. The top end market seems equal with different strengths from generation to generation. Although I have found Sony's default EQ to get worse for every generation from the xm3's.

83 euros is a great price when here in the US they're all still $150+ no matter where I look. Currently have Soundpeats Capsule3 Pro+ and they sound great but really wish I had OnePlus buds to go with my OnePlus phone

Might want to try playing with the EQ. If it doesn't suit you, can try checking out Earfun Air Pro 4 or oneplus buds 4. Soundpeats capsule 3 pro plus is a personal favorite as well

In my Soundpeats Capsule 3 Pro+ (has the latest firmware), when I use both earbuds simultaneously, the left earbud's microphone is not working. However, the left earbud's microphone works when used individually. Is this an error, or is this the intended functionality?

It's quite true. The sound quality is amazing given such low price. The sound quality is comparable to AUD 500ish headphones. It generates better sound and wider frequency responses than those of premium brands.

I am not an audiophile scientist. My guage for audio quality is how the music makes me feel while listening and the cost of entry for each level of feel. I also have 3 categories that I have alway used for audifonos EDC, listening , and production. IEMs don't fall into production range for me except for audition on every piece of gear I can while production is being mixed for me. I have only had the H3 for about 3 hours and am currently swapping between my c3p+ and the H3 and replaying parts of tracks over and over. My wife is worried about my mental health this morning. As with all IEMs the H3 needs to be EQ'd right away. For me LDAC enabled is a must or they can't keep up with the c3p+ at all, the adaptive hearing test in the Soundpeats app is worth running, and I ended up with the same Focal tips from my c3p+ (no idea if they fit in the case yet). The H3 is the clear winner for listening. I am impressed by the instrument separation and quality in general. Bass is just deep enough to give me the feels with hip-hop and house music. Rock and classical, while not my daily, are very enjoyable and again the impressive separation. Sepultura and Slayer get a triple 🤘 For me the H3 is not a multi-tool like the c3p+. My wife can hear the audio coming from H3, that is a big deal for me for public usage. LDAC must be enabled to get the audio quality and single device paring is also a big deal for me for an EDC IEM. I see myself using the H3 for listening at home use only (maybe airplanes too). The c3p+ will remain my EDC so I can still bump on public transportation privately, have dual device pairing for working, and ill definitely be able to wait until I am home to use the H3 to listen to new (to me) tracks. I hope this helps someone looking to choose an EDC or a pure audio IEM in the price range. I paid $111 (current exchange) for the H3 and I believe around $50 for cp3p+.

Creative Aurvana Ace 2 and SoundPEATS Capsule3 Pro+ are a good dark horse option. The xMEMS drivers seriously stand out. I've tested over 100 earbuds and those are still my favorite.

Soundpeats Capsule 3 Pro Plus was stunning. When I first heard it I didn't quite know what to make of it. Then days later I started longing for it. It's really balanced and clear. You can get it for less than $90 from Shoppee. I got an additional one for my partner just yesterday.
