BEST sounding, are Nobel Audio Fokus Rex5 or Devialet Gemini 2... I also have the Status Audio Between 3ANC, Denon Perl Pro, Technics AZ100, and B&W Pi8... All of those are really great choices as well.
For sound quality, music streaming, and ANC, the Status Between 3ANC smokes the AZ100... BUT, in terms of functionality, call quality, Customizability, the AZ100 is better... Status is boasting that their new Status Pro X buds are a huge improvement of the 3ANC'S, I got my pre-order in, so we shall see about that.
I got my 3anc's maybe 6-7 months ago... I haven't had any issues with them at all... The only issue I ever had was when I first got them... Right out of the box, there was a firmware update, not uncommon thing any earbud... I ran the update, no problem there... After the update, the touch controls were kinda wonky (not very responsive). I did a hard reset on the buds, been flawless since. I like my 3anc so well, when they announced the pre-order for the upcoming Pro X buds, I pre-ordered those and went and ordered a pair of their first gen buds, Between Pro out of curisoity...
Status Audio Between 3ANC are excellent in the price range.
I recommend Status Audio earbuds... The new Pro X are awesome and their Between 3ANC are excellent as well, can't go wrong with either pair, depends on your budget.
I recommend the Status Audio Between 3 ANC. They sound great and ANC is pretty good too.
I think the Status Between 3ANC are outstanding, especially for their price.
The Earfun Air Pro 4+ are an very good choice. I would also look into Status Audio Between 3ANC, they were on sale for $99. Status earbuds are excellent for metal, which is what I mostly listen to.
I can wear the 3anc buds for quite a while, never really timed it, but at least a couple hours at a time.
The first thing to keep in mind is that features like anc, ldac, and multipoint all continuosly use battery. So, if you disable the features you don't really need, it will extend you battery life, on any earbud. My first choice would be the Status Between 3ANC, currently on sale for $125. Second choice would have to be the Denon Perl Pro, not sure of current pricing. Third would be the Technics AZ100. All of these will get you somewhere around the 6-7 hour mark on a single charge with anc and multi-point enabled. That being said, i would have to know exactly what do YOU call long battery life... If approximately 5 hours of music playback, with anc, multipoint, and ldac on, is long enough... Then I would definitly suggest the Status Pro X, currently priced at $249. Another option that I have started sharing is that if you are ok with wired iem's, $250 will get you a really good set. The upside to the iem, no batteries... So, they will outlast any tws.
The AP4+ are a good set of buds, but it sound quality is your primary need/concern, right now, the Status Between 3ANC are on sale direct from Status Audio for $99.
Check out the Status Audio Between 3ANC. They are great buds and can be bought for a really good price, I think I just saw something around $130 direct from Status. Another good one is the Denon Perl Pro. I own both and love them and can be bought well below your $200 price limit.
I'd suggest the Status Audio Pro X. Amazing sound, good ANC and call quality, battery life could be better. I will normally get right around 5 hours out of a charge with LDAC and ANC on, but it does have 3 drivers to power...
I've had the Perl Pro for quite some time now and prefer the Status X over the Denon. Using a Samsung device, I set the phones internal eq, to a balanced setting, and then then simply tweak the Knowles Prederred setting in the Status Hub, which I have yet to find a way to completely bypass Samsung's eq. The Status Pro X has become my third most used set of buds, Noble Prestige Encore first and Devialet Gemini 2 is second.
Status Audio Between 3ANC. They are fantastic.
The models from Status audio are pretty exceptional in my experience. I have the previous gen Between 3ANC, and will upgrade when they finally die. Theyâre currently 3 years old.
I have the earlier version of Status and I bought after market soft foam tips.
I donât think back then they had official ones. Mine are the between 3ANC. I see on their website now they have official ones đ¤Ł
Thatâs weird. Again I am not sure if mine will work with pros or not. Like I mentioned I have the between 3ANCs . I bought them when they were launched
I just got the 3ANC for ÂŁ110 at half price 2 weeks ago⌠Great sound and fits well compared to my previous daily (Airpods pro 2).. I am not a big fan of the transparency mode, Iâve had to take the earphones off when talking to people as the transparency wasnât that great / loud ⌠Iâm thinking about returning them for the Pro X.
Iâve had a pair since they came out⌠Never failed me, I dropped them in water a month ago and although they work, I seem to have issues with the microphone so Iâve decided to wander outside the Apple ecosystem & got a status 3ANC.. i donât think i can go back to listening music on an Airpod!!
Don't get the status 3ANC earbuds. Sound quality is great but the noise canceling sucks!
I now use pixel bud pro 2 and love them. However I originally balked at the price. Then I added up how much I'd spent on a drawerful of cheap ones I _didn't_ like. I got the pixel buds from for a reasonable price, and they're currently listed at Amazon for $208.14. caution: Google has 2 other cheaper inferior pixel buds not recommended. As a backup pair I use some Status Between 3ANCs, which sound great, but have crappy touch controls. They're also on the large side, and look sorta dorky. But the audio and ANC are really good. Cheaper than pixel buds pro2 by roughly $50. I tried several Sony buds and meh. Although Sony over the ear headphones are great. About $350, but worth it, especially for flying. YMMV
Status 3ANC are absolutely better than the options listed here. I just got my Pro Xâs about a week ago so too soon to have a real opinion but first impressions is very good.
I tried many ear buds before landing on these and I also agree that they're the best sounding earbuds I've ever had by quite a bit. I wish other manufacturers would add more drivers. I know the number of drivers doesn't always indicate better sound but in the case of these buds, it really does. My biggest gripe with these is the transparency mode and ANC. I think it's terrible. With both features, anytime a "loud" noise is detected it makes a loud clipping sound and turns either transparency or anc off on the ear the sound was detected. This is super annoying to me so I don't even use these features. Also, even though I appreciate the physical buttons and use them to turn the earbuds off independently, which I love, the buttons hardly ever function to turn off ANC or transparency mode. I have to press the button multiple times to get it to work. Thirdly, I wish that transparency mode being turned on would pause your music. This is more of a niche gripe and it was more relevant to me before I found out that I hate their transparency mode but my Sennheisers had this feature and it makes so much sense for me and the way I use my buds. I've also had 2 replacement devices sent to me because the little screen that goes over the part of the bus that goes in your ear falls off. It happened with both replacements as well. Very disappointing. If it wasn't for the amazing sound quality, insane battery life and comfort, I wouldn't deal with these things. But they really sound that good.
