"I've had Sony and Bose earbuds and I can say that their noise cancelling is not any better and might be worse in some situations versus Earfun and tozo."

"the app is buggy as heck meaning I can never adjust the sound settings because it won’t connect. ... Finallly you have to have both earbuds in your ears to adjust the sound picture which sucks because I often only wear one bud on transparency mode at work ... Yep I keep having to “forget device” then reconnect to get the app to connect"
"Their biggest flaw is the damn app. It always fails."
I'm on my second set of TOZOs and I don't remember how many years I had the first set (T6, $25). I may have killed them though, they got washed accidentally. They still worked for a year after that, but it may have contributed. The rest of my family has had their T6 sets working fine for years. I upgraded to the NC7 ($30) and they've been great for the last 2 years.
I couldmt agree more... the buds that turned me onto tozo were the nc7 all function hybrid omce i used those and beat the hell outta them for 6 months straight i got the golden x1 . Insanely good earbuds and for 99.99 right now there is no better deal. I say this also owning the galaxy buds 2 pro and sennheiser momentum 3... id easily grab my x1 over both these
Yes, I just bought a pair, played with the eq like 15 minutes, and returned them. I have the nc3, and the nc7, and both of those are really nice. The nc9 had no volume or bass even after adjusting the eq,
Have you tried the NC9's? I had the NC7's and I agree those weren't great for music, a little flat and lifeless, but the 9's are a huge improvement imo
I walk a lot with my dogs and I listen to audiobooks a lot. Looking for headphones that have good phone call quality and good battery life. I’m outside walking about 10-12hours week. I use this time to listen to audiobooks books or take a phone calls. I mainly want headphones that have a good transparency mode (hear noise around you). I want to make sure I can hear people, cars, or dogs coming when I’m out with the dogs. I had my Tazo NC7 that I loved but my dog chewed one up. I’ve lost a few head phones so I like the $50 range for outdoor use. Looking for any recommendations at other brands to look at. Thanks for any suggestions.
If you’re keeping it in the $20–$50 range, the TOZO NC7 is a great pick, solid noise canceling, long battery life, and even wireless charging, which is wild for the price. Another good one is the SoundPEATS Air3 Deluxe HS. They’ve got a really clean, balanced sound that’s closer to higher-end buds, and they’re super reliable for daily use. Both are great value picks if you don’t want to spend more than $50. Before you decide, check them out first at [audiotones.co](http://audiotones.co) so you can compare which one feels right.
Tozo NC7. Small, durable, and IPX6 waterproofing.👍
I don't have them but they're some of the best earbuds for sound. Be more specific in what you want so we can recommend the right earbuds for you. There so many options like Earfun Air Pro 4, Oneplus Buds 3, Nothing Ear (a), Soundcore Liberty 4 Pro, and the Skullcandy Method 360 ANC just to name a few.🤷♂️
I have quite a few for different reasons. Here are some I own: Sennheiser Momentum 4, Soundcore Liberty 3 Pro, Oppo Enco X2, Earfun Air Pro 4, Tozo NC2 & NC7, Oneplus Buds 3, and earbuds from 2019 that haven't died yet.😅
I bought TOZO wireless ANC earbuds, they’re simply incredible for its price, and I’m a bass nut!
I also recommend TOZO. I got the more expensive NC-7 model about four years ago for $80. They’ve been dropped constantly, repaired by me, accidentally thrown in the trash, and yet, they work fine. I use them daily for the gym, walks, and work. The active noise cancelling is solid too. The battery life has diminished over time and from the drops I assume, but they charge fast in the case. I’d say I get about 5 hours out of them.
Key words here being "small ears," I'd say, check out the Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro 2. I have a lot of earbuds, and I find these to be the smallest feeling ones. Their design makes it so they sit very comfortably within my ears, and the ANC is very good, provided that you have a good seal. They're currently $119 on Amazon US. If you need something less expensive, the Tozo NC7 is also on the smaller side and are currently $50 on the Tozo website. Being less than half the price of the Samsung, the ANC isn't as good, but that's to be expected for budget earbuds.
The Tozo NC7 has a single use battery life of 15 + hours, and the last time I checked, they were around $50 on Amazon.
When it comes to earbuds, spending more doesn't always equate to a better product, especially the Sony's imo. I never understood why people would rave about the sound quality when I always thought they didn't sound even remotely worth the money. I was just listening to my Tozo NC7s a couple of days ago and thinking how much better they sound than the Sony's or even the Technics - either the AZ-80 or the AZ-100 - for that matter. Where the bigger money buds shine is in their options where most budget earbuds don't have nearly as many, but when it comes to sound quality, you just found out rule # 1.
As I was reading this, I was thinking "Tozo NC7," and then I got to the end. Alternatives could include the Soundcore Space A40, p40i, Life A2 NC, and Life A3i, along with the Tozo NC9 (there are many variations of these), Jlab jbuds Air Pro for starters. These are all earbuds that I have used personally and can vouch for.
