I've gone for the Xiaomi Buds 5 Pro WiFi, very happy with the quality and goes very well with my Xiaomi phone. Apt X codec is very nice.
This is a late reply, but if you're looking for LE Audio and gaming because of the latency improvements then you're on track. However, the next thing you'll need to ask yourself is if your gaming will also include voice, or bidirectional audio. In other words, for classic Bluetooth, have you ever been frustrated when trying to game and the sound quality goes down and you get mono audio? The issue is that not all LE Audio audio devices, even then ones that do a good job of implementing LE Audio like the AZ100, support fullband audio when using voice. The AZ100 current maxes out at 32 KHz / 32 KHz for incoming and outgoing. So there is definitely an improvement over Bluetooth Classic in terms of both sample rate and the fact that you get stereo instead of mono. However, other audio devices implement 48 KHz incoming, so you get fullband stereo audio coming in while also retaining voice out. Unfortunately, there isn't a great way to know which brands support fullband bidirectional audio before buying them, one just has to experience them. That said, the Sony Buds Pro do a decent job here, Earfun Air Pro 4 is also good. The AZ100, Sony MX#s, Status Audio Pro X, Dell WL7xxx, and others all cap out at 32 KHz when using voice.
First, it's worth noting that 48 KHz for voice is mostly not needed; most services like Zoom or Teams don't transmit in fullband and compress/reduce sampling rate on your outgoing audio anyway and speaking voice is normally in a relatively narrow audio spectrum anyway, and so can often get away with a reduced sample rate (that's why phone companies started with a lower sampling rate). It's also important to note that 32kHz / 32KHz is the "standard" LE Audio spec, and so in order to take advantage of fullband, you'll often need an LE Audio dongle that supports requesting the "Gaming" profile, or GMAP, from the audio device. There are a few that do, the Sennheiser BTD700, Creative Labs BT-W6, and the FlooGoo FMA120/121. While the form factor for the FlooGoo is not as compact and nice, I recommend this well above the others - the Windows interface shows the sample rate (though there are some glitches) and there are a lot of software updates, whereas the updates for the other dongles are few and far between. And so yeah, plenty support receiving in fullband while using voice, which is essentially what you want for gaming - the ones I personally own or have tested: * Samsung Galaxy Buds2 Pro * Samsung Galaxy Buds3 Pro * EarFun Air Pro 4 * Xiaomi Buds 5 Pro (non Redmi) I normally don't have as much experience with LE Audio headphones, but you're in luck--I took a gamble on trying out the Xbox Gaming Headset (2024 version), because in December [Microsoft released a firmware update that surprisingly added LE Audio support](https://www.techpowerup.com/344160/microsoft-updates-the-xbox-wireless-headset-with-bluetooth-le-audio#comments). I was able to find a $41 used version on eBay to try out, and despite some initial setup issues, it's solid! The mic is clear and though there isn't ANC, the passive noise isolation from the overears also surprised me. Interestingly my FlooGoo reports 32 Khz /32 Khz in both standard and gaming modes, but my ears are telling me it's fullband. If you want an overear fullband solution, I think the Xbox headset paired with the FlooGoo is a very solid setup.
I am super happy with my Xiaomi Buds 5 Pro
I also use it and sound is good
try to use Xiaomi Buds 5 Pro ive been using it since january and its so comfortable and quality to used. you can connect to wifi also whit that earbuds.
Bluetooth earbuds connectivity issue when connected to my PC with Win11 and Asus usb-bt500 Bluetooth adapter. My Xiaomi buds 5 pro has a much more instable connection with my PC than with my Samsung S22 phone. I don't know what causes this instability but often I experience one bud is dropping the sound and reconnecting in a second but it keeps repeating and very annoying. I don't experience this when I use the exact same earbuds with my phone. What should I do with my PC to improve the stability of my bt connection? I thought I have a quality Bluetooth adapter, but I start to doubt it, could it be the issue? Should I replace it to what? What else could cause this?
Xiaomi Pro the best, obviously
