Top options in this price range are OnePlus buds 3 (4 are better but cost around 22k) Soundcore Liberty nc4 Sony c510 (although they lack anc) Cmf buds 2 pro Redmi buds 6 pro (personally using older model for about 3 years now) they all are miles better then audionic in terms of reliability but life depends on how much you use them some people destroy the battery of airpods pro in just 1 1.5 year Earfit and sound quality differ for every person so it is better to test the buds first but i don't know any shop offer testing although xcessories hub lahore have all of these models available so if you live in lahore you can call to inquire about testing.

Wow, amazing review. Very detailed and professional. One thing I noticed immediately after getting them was that with the predecessor(buds 5 pro) there was a thing, like when using ANC or Transparency, it would sometimes not work for like 10-20seconds (trust me, it was hella annoying) and you had to like take them out and put them back again just for it to detect your ear and work. This had something to do with the in-ear detection(even with it turned off), but it seems to be resolved in the 6 pros.(I'll update the comment if it occurs)(It doesn't). Edit: Also about head tracking, it only works when the Hi-Res codec(LDAC/LHDC) is turned off. The Transparency mode is definitely weaker than in the buds 5 Pro. About the ANC, I noticed a huge improvement, when I was on the bus, the buds 5 pro used to make ear popping sounds because the low frequency, high amplitude shaking noise of the bus. This seems to be fixed, and also, wind noise reduction is better. I would also like to add, that there is in fact a 10-band EQ, but you have to swipe left to reveal the rest of it. With the triple driver(no bs) and probably new calibration, the highs are much clearer, and the difference between Lossless LDAC(990Kbps) and SBC(328Kbps) is easily noticeable(hardly noticeable for me with the buds 5 pro) even for me, who isn't that big of an audio file. Also, I am using the Lavender Purple global model. I will update this comment, as I use them, to add things I experience.

Have you tried a 3rd party EQ like Wavelet or PowerAmp (or similar) to try and boost the bass a bit more on the Redmi Buds 6 Pro?

I feel like the audio quality on the Redmi is better but the noise cancelling, transparency and ecosystem integration isn't as good. But I bet on Xiaomi devices it could be better

I just bought the Redmi Buds 6 pro and I am enjoying them. I have read that the ANC is a big step-up from the buds 5 pro and on can keep up with a lot of flagship earbuds. I'm not a huge sound person though, so I can't really give you much insight beyond the fact that I like them haha. Also, I might be wrong, but I believe redmi 红米 was originally part of xiaomi and branched out to become their own independent company, but they are still under the Xiaomi parent company.

I do have them and what annoys me the most is the micro stutter or when the signal is kinda lost? walking around can be annoying AF cause I'm listening to audiobooks and then the signal is lost or there are interferences asap as I put it on my pockets. Not sure if is just my unit but I'm gonna send it back

A quick review of the Redmi Buds 6 Pro for those who are interested! A big thank you to my fellow redditor, [u/tig33](https://www.reddit.com/user/tig33/), who loaned me the buds for a month so I could review them, measure their frequency response and record some sound and ANC samples, which I've encapsulated into a YouTube review [here](https://youtu.be/HvjvxV55_s4). I'm not a 'trust me bro' type reviewer - I try to make it as objective as possible so if you do want to hear what the ANC is like in a busy coffee shop, hear what they sound like out of the box and hear how effective the mics are in different, busy real-life scenarios, feel free to check that out. For those of you that prefer text-based reviews - here are my thoughts. I was testing the Chinese version - the global version has since been released, and it has a few additional features, notably Google Fast Pair. In reality, in my experience it doesn't make a huge difference. **Here are the pros:** * Improved sound over the Buds 5 Pro. Bass is tighter and trebles are slightly more refined. Sound stage is bigger, imaging is about the same * Compact, portable charge case and solid build quality in general * Minimal occlusion effect (for me, at least) * Impressive call noise reduction & possible to switch to transparency during a call * Amongst the strongest ANC in its price category * Multipoint works seamlessly - no need to press pause on your primary device * Quick charge feature is excellent - the buds charge extremely quickly in the case and make up for the slightly-lower-than-average overall single use playtime with ANC on (around 4.5 hours with calls and features such as multipoint switched on) * Mappable touch controls * Lots of codec options (LDAC, LHDC and Xiaomi's own proprietary codec) * Spatial audio & different 'use modes' - movie mode, for example **And the cons:** * Connectivity issues spoilt the experience * No wireless charging * No gaming mode and latency is worse than its competitors * Whilst call noise reduction is strong, you do get occasional 'crackles' across your voice in busy scenes * Battery life is OK, but falls short of competitors (Realme, OnePlus, Earfun) * Touch controls are very prone to accidental touches. Swipe for volume is on the outside of the bud, which is not really practical compared to how OnePlus do it * Moderate battery life (4h ANC on, 6h off) * Whilst they are one of the few buds outside the Apple ecosystem to offer head-tracking, the effect is much less obvious In summary, I did like the Buds 6 Pro a lot. The unboxing is basic and simplistic but they are nicely designed, with a smoky, gunmetal grey case and matching look and feel to the buds. The buds are short with a large oval shaped nozzle. This results in, for me at least, decent stability and minimal occlusion. The outside of the buds has a mirror-polished finish, looking similar to QCY's MeloBuds Pro. The ergonomics are generally pretty good. The **ANC**, at maximum strength level, is probably only beaten in the sub-$100 category by the Soundcore Liberty 4 NC, and did actually outperform it at certain frequencies. The transparency mode is OK - you have a couple of toggles within the strength 'bar', the furthest of which gives better clarity but also places a fair amount of white noise into the presentation. Whilst **sound** has improved - don't believe the 'triple driver' hype. The drivers are reasonably cohesive, but push them too hard and you will notice a bit of distortion if you move too far outside their range. You get an 8-band custom EQ and a bunch of presets. If you want to use those presets as a template to autoeq, I uploaded all the measurements to squiglink - [here](https://regancipher.squig.link/?share=Harman_2019_IE_v2_Target,Redmi_Buds_6_Pro_ANC,Redmi_Buds_6_Pro_AEB,Redmi_Buds_6_Pro_AET,Redmi_Buds_6_Pro_AEV). In terms of sound 'quality', there are few tangible differences between the majority of the professional Chinese brands when you're spending $50 upwards. It isn't like IEMs, where you can manipulate airflow and use extremely high-sensitivity driver types because you have a small shell within which to house a PCB, battery, chipset, mic array and a variety of sensors. Most buds are performing about the same in metrics like group delay and harmonic distortion, which are probably the closest aligned measurements that are easy to retrieve to determine the actual quality of the sound. The differences the average user perceives as 'sound quality' is in the tuning, for which we all have our own personal preference. The Buds 6 Pro roll off the subbass and focus the energy in the midbass. The mids lift slightly and the upper mids and midtrebles are a bit subdued, with added air in the treble extension. It makes for a rather inoffensive sort of sound across a medium staging, where nothing really jumps out, including the vocals which kinda blend into the overall sound. The bass is still quite palpable but it's punchier than previous Redmi offerings - it's good for EDM and techno but it makes for a bit of congestion if you're listening to rock or metal. They are particularly usable for long listening sessions where the percussion doesn't sound too scratchy. The Redmi have lots of decent features, like a usable spatial audio mode, different 'scene' options to improve immersiveness when watching movies. They do feature a head-tracking mode, but the effect is so subtle you would be hard pressed to notice it. They include wear detection, which can be toggled on and off, and it works quite reliably. For voice calls, the Buds 6 Pro are amongst the best in their price range. They outperform other popular options at their price like Earfun Air Pro 4 and Soundcore Liberty 4 NC. The only problem is, whilst their noise reduction is effective, it produces a 'crackle' sound across your voice when the scene gets particularly busy. Whilst it doesn't affect the clarity or coherency of your voice, it can be slightly off-putting for the receiver. Compared to another strong performer, the Realme Buds Air 6 Pro, the noise reduction is better and your voice isn't as soft, but the Realme don't have the crackle. There are three main drawbacks to the Buds 6 Pro - **latency**, **touch/swipe controls** and **connectivity**. I measured the latency on my Sony Xperia 1 IV at 278ms, compared to Earfun Air Pro 4 at 248ms (132ms with Gaming Mode), Realme Buds Air 6 Pro at 165ms (98ms with Gaming Mode) and OnePlus Buds 3 at 183ms (72ms with Gaming Mode). Redmi have not included a low latency mode, putting them at quite the disadvantage for casual gamers. Thankfully, video synchronisation is fine, but if you're using them for first-person shooters you will notice the difference. The touch controls are generally OK and customisable in the Xiaomi Earbuds app, with some exceptions (you can't change press and hold to anything other than ANC mode toggle and you can't change swipe to anything but volume control). Unfortunately, they put the swipe sensor on the outside of the bud, so you have to angle your arm backwards to use it. Try doing that in public and not getting any funny looks! Thankfully, you can change single touch to volume control as well, but the implementation isn't as reliable as OnePlus or Huawei. The final issue, and the deal-breaker for me, is the connectivity issue that has plagued previous Redmi releases and still persists. With my Sony Xperia 1 IV, the buds connect the left and right channels separately. I assume this is partly because it's seemingly how LE audio works, and secondly to try and combat the issue of master/slave configurations resulting in the left bud battery draining quicker than the right and causing a mismatch over time. The problem is, many Android phones don't seem to be able to cope with this and I got frequent disconnections of either both buds or a single bud, and the only way to fix it was to put the buds back in the case and in some instances to reboot my phone as well. I don't get these issues on any other buds - even the Samsung Galaxy Buds 3, which also connect using LE in the same way - do not cause the same problem. I didn't get the issue on iOS (and I suspect it would not manifest as much on Xiaomi hardware) but it would be remiss of me not to mention it. Hopefully this short summary gives you an insight into some of the pros and cons. If you have any questions, happy to answer them the best I can.

I include sound and ANC samples in all my reviews, recorded using a binaural microphone setup, so you can actually hear the difference for yourself rather than taking people's word for it. The seal makes a huge difference when it comes to noise reduction so one person's findings might be different to someone else's purely down to the fit. Here's my review of [Earfun Air Pro 4 ](https://youtu.be/2dSnlgElEaw), the OnePlus Buds 3 and Soundcore Liberty 4 NC are compared [here](https://youtu.be/nA8SzBswW5w), and if you scroll through my page you'll find the Soundpeats option mentioned as well. IMO - there's no outstanding candidate - all have their pros and cons. For me, the likes of Redmi Buds 6 Pro, Realme Buds Air 6 Pro and OnePlus Buds 3, whilst not outstanding at anything, have a good blend of sound, call performance, ANC, transparency and price. The L4 NC has the strongest ANC but struggles on calls and the sound is too bloated for my liking. The Earfun are good other than on calls, where your voice muffles quite a bit depending on the scene.

Redmi Buds (5 / 5 Pro / 6 / 6 Pro). Fantastic ANC, fantastic Sound, fantastic comfort and fit, fantastic usability (configurable gestures), great Multipoint (connect two devices simultaneously) and amazing value for money. If only they had Wireless Charging, they'd be truly perfect, but with their battery life, you can live without it. I had Bose, Sony and Samsung Earbuds too, still have the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro because I got a great deal at the time they were released, but 'sadly' I truly find the much cheaper Redmi Buds to be better in real life.

I came from Samsung Galaxy Buds Live (free*),Moondrop Space Travel, KZ Z1, KZ ZSN Pro (wired) My Moondrop space travel broke so I wish I could get Moondrop Moca but I can't find any sellers in my country. So I decided on Redmi Buds 6 Pro because I think they offer the most features for the price but apparently it came with one HUGE disappointment. Redmi Buds 6 pro compared to every other I had before this is the most "curated" one, I mean the support is amazing for the app. There is a native Android pairing support (y'know that 3d animation that shows up on your phone at the first time you pair it), then in Bluetooth settings you already can find almost everything the buds offers: 3 levels of anc and transparency, swipe and touch controls, dual connectivity toggle, in-device rename, even basic EQ preset selections. If you download the app it gets wilder: adaptive sound signature, adaptive anc, 3D surround with head tracking, full custom EQ and so on. I've never had this most support out of an earbuds before except when I tried Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro 2 my friend had and I'm genuinely surprised I can find one for $65 I paid for this Buds 6 pro. Then there is the latency, good I guess. In SBC I nailed 180ms ±5ms, AAC 250ms, and LDAC 300ms. Considering the fastest SBC gaming-mode tws I had was Spaces Travel at 140ms ±20ms, this is already impressive. I guess it's good enough for games but the latency still isn't wired experience. The codec LDAC actually makes a difference. I always find this Space Travel lacking in staging when the music gets busy, as if they are condensed onto one while so, then it gets "wide" again when there is a piano or guitar solo. Apparently it's AAC codec limitation as when I tried LDAC the music stays as "wide" and unlimited as it gets no matter what. This is the feeling I had in KZ ZSN pro being wired that I missed... There is no compression at all at audio data and so there is no that weird "tunneling" effect when the music gets busy. Okay didn't I mention I LOVE the build quality of this Redmi buds 6 pro. I don't know what polycarbonate they used but this one feels smooth, cold, premium to the touch. The case is small but hefty. The lid, the magnets, the weight are all solid and no compromises. This is far from Buds Live that feels hollow, or space travel that feels cheap, don't mention me Z1 because it's just a toy plastic, meh. I hope this lasts longer than my Space Travel. Lastly the horrible realization that hit me hard when I finally got my hand on my buds 6 is... The Bass... Or should I say BAAAAASSSSSSSSS. Remember that they pitched this as having 3 DD, well they sure did because the bass is insanely punchy, powerful, and deep like I've never had. Space Travel has this balanced sound right, well I'm surprised this one being this pricey is too bassy. There is a redeeming factor tho, the EQ I mentioned before has "Enhanced Treble" that well finally balanced it well. In the end the sound quality is powerful, soundstage is on par with other in-ear, and mostly while the bass can be punchy, the mid and vocal stays present if Enhanced Treble is used. Oh he ANC is insane. I tried Airpods pro (first gen) and the ANC feeling is similar. Redmi 6 buds managed to make any low-frequency and mid noise go away, no matter if it's a car, train, AC unit, and busy areas. The only thing passing through are >4khz sounds like pitching noises and kids, but they still get suppressed a lot anyway so still good. What I love is the additional setting for transparency where we can isolate voices. So it gives a bit of superhuman hearing for voices but less environment bleed (except fans and wind still goes thro, anything around 1khz sounds will get amplified). Overall, it's an okay buds with bassy sound that I hope you tune it before use... A ton of features for the price, nearing the software support of Samsung Galaxy buds for Samsung devices. I don't recommend this if you went after the best sounding but for best overall go ahead. Especially if you have a Xiaomi/Redmi/POCO phone because as I've heard some reviewers had bad connectivity issues while using Sony and iphones.

I just got them, updated firmware and plugged them in, I continued listening to the same album as I was listening to. Tal Wilkenfelds debut album on Tidal from my Sony Xperia 1 VI with Android 15. LDAC activated. First impression is, yes more bass than 4 Pro but also maybe less controlled. Kind of "wet" bass, a little like transmission line speakers in the speaker world. Sound is a little darker, the enhance treble feature is useful. Max volume is a lot higher, 4 Pro had some problems with max spl but the 6 Pro can play VERY loud. Also, the sound seem to have a little more "body" and is overall more realistic than the 4 Pro which can sound a little "plasticky". This is just first impressions, but I would say I am satisfied for 69€, it is not flagship price so should not be flagship performance but these do sound very good. And probably as durable as the 4 Pro. However, I wouldn't have bought them if I didn't think I had destroyed my 4 Pro.

Redmi Buds 6 yung meron ako. So far so good naman and pretty satisfied with it. Bought it last February at a Xiaomi store for 2k pesos, but I'm pretty sure you can buy it online for cheaper. If 'di ka naman particular sa sound performance, more than enough na yung Buds 6 Lite (~1k pesos). Slightly better lang ang ANC and sound performance ng Buds 6 sa Buds 6 Lite.

Redmi Buds 6 / Redmi Buds 6 Lite both have it under 30 dollars. They do sound better even tho they are more v shaped, they include a far superior comfy casing, they have a better pairing method, and have better ANC. Moondrop was supposed to be an audiophile oriented brand, how can they deliver this much of a terrible product. I think it's a complete mess. I expected the bare minimum, and that was too much for this product. I simply find it unacceptable and an insult for anyone trusting with their pockets on them. At that point why even sell something like this?
