Have this. Love this. Hated our Uppababy when used as a double. Worst ever
The Zoe is definitely cheap and flimsy. The wheels arenât great for everyday use. Personally we got a Thule jogging stroller that was side by side. They have car seat attachments so you can clip a seat in. My Kids are 4 and 6 now and we still use it. Itâs a great stroller
You might try asking in r/bigbabiesandkids My (large) kiddos fit nicely in both a Vista and Thule Urban Glide 3 double. That said, my toddler is going to outgrow the Vista well before the Thule.
Love my Thule Urban Glide 3 Double. Goes up to 100lbs for the two kids.
The Thule Urban Glide 3 Double holds up to 100 lbs of children between the two kids. Itâs side by side, and I have no clue if itâs allowed at Disney, but itâs an awesome stroller. Also: donât feel the need to excuse your sonâs size. Thereâs a whole sub of us with genetically large (not necessarily fat) kids. They might have some other recs, too: r/bigbabiesandkids.
I have two doubles, but theyâre both big: UPPAbaby Vista and Thule Urban Glide Double. The opposite of lightweight, ha, but theyâre for different purposes and Iâm glad I have both. My perspective is that if you have the money, space, and need for a second, then itâs a good purchase.
I have the Vista, which was my main stroller with my first (20 month gap), and got a double Thule to run with after my second was born. Theyâre great strollers and serve different purposes. If youâve got the resources and space, get both. Iâm happy Iâve got both.
Itâs fine! The Thule is way more maneuverable, but the Vista is so much easier to get in/out of the car and is super useful for errands. I really liked it when youngest was just born because I could easily remove the second seat for walks with the baby. The toddler is happy with it, though I need to switch his rumble seat with the babyâs regular seat because heâs getting too tall. Resisting because change is hard! And a bonus with the Vista is that itâs helpful to separate them when the toddler gets handsy. The Vista isnât perfect, but I donât think anything is, really. It does check nearly all of your boxes, as it did for me. Ultimately, itâs been fantastic, particularly alongside the double Thule.
Where do you live? Because the stroller we have is only available in the Netherlands, Belgium, and Germany for delivery. Or you can pick it up in the store in the Netherlands. So I won't be mentioning it because the likelihood is pretty small. Some brands are international though. Idk if you have access to Cybex. It's a stacked model, the Gazelle S duo. It holds car seats (adapters are included), bassinets, or seats. I also like the Thule urban glide 3 double. Again no clue if that's available to you. It's a side by side, all terrain, not crazy wide, big tires (but inflatable ones). It also works with an adapter for the car seat or a bassinet. Our stroller doesn't hold car seats, or at least not the ones we have. I don't think it's a tragedy. Like I can definitely see the advantages of being able to click your car seats onto the stroller. But it's never stopped us from doing anything either. It's a compact one, we can get through most doors, if not all. I haven't come across a door we didn't fit through, but I'm sure they exist somewhere.
Wagons are huge and seem so awkward to push. Iâd look for a side by side thatâs easier to use than the BOB. I personally hate BOB but I know thatâs an unpopular opinion. I love our Thule urban glide 3 double which can take a bassinet or infant insert. A compact double thatâs newborn ready may be your best bet! Look at the uppababy minu double or even the Zoe twin. I love our vista, but 2 is a little young for the rider board and pushing it with two seats is not fun. I love it as a single but my age gap was bigger. When we did use it as a true double, I put the baby in the car seat on the bottom and big kid up top - mush easier to push. I still love the vista though and my youngest is 2.5! Holds all our stuff đ
I have 2 under 2 and purchased the Thule double urban glide 3 and it has been a game changer! Our almost 2 year old is right at 35lbs and our 4 month old is 13lbs so with the weight being so off the uppa didnât function. I can push both babies in the Thule with one hand and strap my 75lb dog to my waist and itâs so easy! Keep in mind youâll have to purchase newborn accessories (the infant insert worked great for us & car seat adapter clips) and is sold through Crate & barrel now so we got 15% off (through their mail sign up) and bought there!
We live in a similar climate with rough sidewalks and so much snow, so the best option for us was the [Thule Urban Glide 3 Double.](https://www.reddit.com/r/KeepThisInMind/comments/1lourwj/recommend_the_best_double_strollers_for_travel/) Everything else we tried got stuck on ice or uneven pavement. Itâs expensive but suspension actually makes a difference. It handles rough ground easily and still supports older kids well.
Iâd suggest first decide where youâll use it most like travel, errands or long walks. We are outdoors a lot, so we went with the Thule Urban Glide Double and love how well it handles rough paths and longer walks. When I was researching, I saw [this thread](https://www.reddit.com/r/KeepThisInMind/comments/1lourwj/recommend_the_best_double_strollers_for_travel/) and it really helped me choose what fit our situation..
If cost isnât an option, this is the one I recommend! [Thule Urban Glide 3 double](https://www.thule.com/en-ca/strollers/double-jogging-strollers/thule-urban-glide-3-double-_-10101998?_gl=1*1bh6d3b*_up*MQ..*_gs*MQ..&gclid=CjwKCAjwjtTNBhB0EiwAuswYhmtg4npnzGAEupW5Gvn1M30sD3cjmUYf0ue6R3PonAb2z612EmHc4xoC8U4QAvD_BwE&gbraid=0AAAAADg-MPe1kQEccSvmdtGbQ8urKIQWw) We got the added bassinet option and OMG life saver! It truly was the best set up for us. We had the uppababy at first but it was literally impossible to maneuver with both of them in there. We walked A LOT and got great use of it (and still do!)
Ours are 360 days apart :) Right there with you Ultimately it came down to the bassinet option since the seats donât go completely flat in either option for those early months. I know the bob has the car seat option, but Iâm personally not a fan of that for walks.
I havenât personally had an issue with the front wheel! It is definitely a bulky stroller though. Fine to get in and out of the SUV and to leave up in the garage, but def wouldnât plan to travel with it lol
Are you hoping to do infant inserts? Iâm not sure if the Thule has car seat attachments or bassinet options for twins. Weâve had the bugaboo donkey and Thule. Iâm a bigger fan of our Thule, personally, than the donkey. I like how it rides better, and it was so much cheaper than the donkey. That being said, if I had newborn twin again I would totally buy a stroller with double bassinet attachments. We got our donkey secondhand and it was a little broken (discovered after we got it). That notwithstanding I loved it for the newborn bassinets when they were little.
