Thule

I just completed a full Ironman at 12months postpartum so did lots of running in 2025 with a stroller. We have the Thule Urban Glide 3 and Joovy Ultralight 360. Joovy was a gift: it’s heavy and cumbersome and hard to run with compared to the Thule that’s smooth, easy and a total dream. Longest I ran with the stroller is around 20kms (12miles). My best tip is leave baby home for a nap with someone else and run as much as you can, when they wake up come back and get them and finish the run with the stroller. That’s how I got my long runs in. Edit: just something to keep in mind, you cannot run with baby until 6m in most strollers (Joovy is 4m with the seat reclined). It’s for the safety of their neck.
Ran 21k with the Thule Urban Glide 3 today with my 11 month old… it’s the best money I spent post partum.
Ran a few hundred kms last summer with my son in a Thule Urban Glide 3. We started when he turned 6months as per the recommended. I did a full Ironman at 12 months postpartum. 10/10 recommend the Thule.
That’s a generous gift!!!! You are going to love it.
Have this. Love this. Hated our Uppababy when used as a double. Worst ever
The Zoe is definitely cheap and flimsy. The wheels aren’t great for everyday use. Personally we got a Thule jogging stroller that was side by side. They have car seat attachments so you can clip a seat in. My Kids are 4 and 6 now and we still use it. It’s a great stroller
I live in Whitehorse. We used the same Thule Urban Glide for multiple children. Spring, summer, fall, and even winter if sidewalks/roads were cleared enough. We go off road (wider trails) to dog walk, and have travelled internationally with it, gate checking every time. It could still be used for other children. We also got it used, so who knows how many people had it first! It was worth every penny, and I’d recommend it to anyone. We have the Urban Glide 3 and both my husband and I use it weekly. It handles like a dream and our friends without kids have been very impressed by it too
So I haven’t had my baby yet, but have done a lot of research. Thule and BOB will be the longest lasting. I got the Thule urban glide 3 to job with for when I am healed and also to use as an everyday stroller. It is a very good looking stroller too imo! I got the bassinet attachment so I can use it immediately
Get the urban glide if you live somewhere hilly as it has a hand break (I think mountain buggy also has one with a hand break). I have the double urban glide because I have twins and a singleton, and it's not compact enough for easy travelling (but maybe the single is better). Not having a hand break can be scary running down even a slight hill, and downright dangerous for steeper hills!

They honestly both have their merits. I have the uppababy vista, the Thule urban glide (side x side), and Thule chariot (side x side). I use the Thules for running and dog walks, but the main problem I'm having with side x side right now is just the amount of stroller drama (they are 12 months but this has been going on for a few months)..this includes biting, toy stealing, etc etc. The uppababy is good for the rare city outing (especially as they are still in their infant seats so they click right in), but I find it more difficult to steer, it is LONG (sorry door frames), and it has no breaks which I find incredibly useful living in a very hilly area!
