"It's like $120 bucks on Amazon, they basically do everything else the competition does."

"It was $120"

"Check Rove r2 4k it is very good ... Rove r2 4k with Starvis 2 sensor is the way. Good price and good sensor in the dash cam ... Rove is good, if the Starvis 2 there with IMX 678 then it’s a no brainer. ... Rove is no brainer for that much money, I liked the dashcam (still have it in my glovebox)"

"Love their app too, very simple and intuitive ... great app on the phone ... Rove app much more seamless and intuitive."

"Basically a set it up and leave it situation. Since our 12v plug ins are keyed to power we never have to touch it"

"I was able to get an accessory plug so it is powered off the rear view mirror; no running of wires."

"I bought a ROVE R2 4K on Amazon in December of 2021 and it still works perfectly. ... I tried several other cameras and they all died insanely fast, days, weeks or months, after leaving them in the car."

"Had no issues with my rove yet ... Works great love it"

"Hasn’t given me any issues since."

"Video quality on another lever compared to r2 4k. ... Rove still offered first Sony Starvis sensors. ... Was looking for better video quality ... because I want not just dash cam for the sake of having dash cam, but also best image quality therefore I spend more."

The r2 4k, r2 4k pro and the r2 4k dual are three different specs. The dual is the newest specs. Works great love it but the pro isnt as good as the dual.

I like and use the ROVE R2-4K....not fancy, but gets the job done for one front facing camera.

I use the ROVE R2-4K. It's a basic one camera dashcam, but has pretty good resolution. I like that it's easy to stick on the window and take off.

I bought and use a ROVE R2-4K. It's one camera and records to a card. I'm happy with it for a basic front video.

I use the ROVE R2-4K. It's a basic front view dashcam that I just use with a card. I like that it's easy to install to the windshield and easy to remove.

I got the ROVE R2-4K recently and love it...its supercapacitor based so no issues of lithium batteries heating up. And the day and night quality is very good, I upgraded from an Aukey DR02 which I had for over 5 years to this and it's quite good so far.

If you want a good all around system that is super reliable I would go with the Rove R2-4K. Just keep in mind it is not true 4K and the video quality is average with poor night video quality. Still I like it so far and the deals it had with all the features was a nice bonus. The video quality for the viofos are much better in terms of being capable of reading license plates and the quality of night videos. I would go for the viofo pro if you're not on a budget. I personally don't like how outdated it looks which makes me wonder if that's why some reviews mention problems. Where I live it gets hot, and reading the bad reviews with potential heat and SD card errors deterred me enough from it even though viofo has a lot more useful features functionality wise. I'm patient and am hoping in a few years they make changes to the design.

I have a Rove 4K dash cam in my 2013 Highlander and it works really well. I have a FitCamX in my 2020 Corolla hybrid and it works well but it doesn’t have the screen and some of the other bells and whistles of the Rove. I like that the fitcam looks factory but if you’re wanting something with a little bit more bells and whistles the Rove is nice

I have the ROVE r2-4k front and Rear facing.... my previous came was the same brand but it was only the front facing one. I might take it back out and put back in my car to use as a cabin cam, since I haven't sold it to anyone...

I have a VIOFO A229 Plus in my EUV. A little pricy (around $200) but the quality is good and I like that it makes it easy to have a front and rear camera. Also, it has a good WiFi connection (uses 5GHz), so downloading videos off the device is pretty quick (my previous dashcam, a rove r2-4k, had an awful WiFi chip, so downloading a minute-long video would take upwards of 10 minutes. Which was borderline useless when I just wanted to quickly get the video and pass it along to someone).
