"Just the rear has a wire shown as it needs some lenght to open the rear door given its an suv. Will be more neat for a sedan."

"For parking mode there is a seperate kit to purchase for the rove that needs hard wiring."
I have the Rove R2 4K Dual. I spent a lot of time researching. But I know the Dual kit has one of the newest camera specs on the market. That one does not unfortunately. Starvis 2 is important for night quality reading plates. The novatek version also makes a difference. Had no issues with my rove yet
The r2 4k, r2 4k pro and the r2 4k dual are three different specs. The dual is the newest specs. Works great love it but the pro isnt as good as the dual.
I own 3 of these today. Normally they are around $150 - $160 when I’ve bought them. Seems like a great price to me.
I use this when I rent cars or borrow someone else’s for some reason. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0D6J5B98H?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title
I use the Rove R2-4K Dual for both my Rav4 and Sienna. It’s been great for me.
Viofo a139 pro was the best dashcam I had until it stopped working one day. Now i have a viofo a329s and a rove r2 -4k dual
We have this one, but it plugs in to the cig-style outlet at the back (I think you can also usb-c it with an adapter). Got it because I didn't want to do any wiring. [https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0D6J5B98H](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0D6J5B98H)
I have a ROVE R2-4K Dual dash cam (actually two of them for two different cars). So far I really like them. Comes with 128GB SD card. While they list for $149 I got one on sale for $99.99 and the other later for $107.99 on Amazon. They're $120 now (w/$10 Amazon coupon).
I have the Rove R2-4K Dual. It has excellent video quality and minimal side blindspots. And I really like that you can manipulate the rear camera to your preferred angle. My only complaint is, I wish it was mobile network enabled for 24/7 live view from any range, cloud upload capabilities, and real-time alerts. I've recently started looking into others that do have this feature, and so far what I've found seem to have poor video quality (not really 4k, no night vision, etc), or some other issue. Or they seem pretty good, but doesn't have all of the features I would like. Please update with what you end up getting, and your opinion 🙂
Most 4k (that I have looked into) are actually split, or divided, like its the total including the rear cam. I have a rove, its 4k, yet not the front nor rear is actually 4k alone. So personally, I would not recommend buying less than a 4k (plus the 1080p on my rear cam is in no way near as good of quality as the front cam, can't imagine decifiering plates off it). Just my experience / opinion. Strange your videos take that long to download. A 3 min video for mine takes seconds. Idk, maybe something in your settings? Worth double-checking.
ROVE R2-4K DUAL Dash Cam Front and Rear..Ive had it since June 2025 and no problems. I've needed to use it several times and it's worked flawlessly each time. I love having it as an "extra" rear camera too( with a small pip of the front cam). I wish the display was a bit bigger(it's 3 inches) but the 4k, easy install, and all the needed bells and whistles for under $130 is what sold me and why I recommend it.
I purchased the R2 4K dual which has the starvis 2 with discount for 339dhs. Rove has more reviews that viofo but still a good brand. Installed the rove myself, hid the wires easily. Lots of guides on it. Just the rear has a wire shown as it needs some lenght to open the rear door given its an suv. Will be more neat for a sedan. No need to pay stupid prices like 1K or more. U can easily manage installation on ur own.
Nice but still its a hefty price to pay though for all that. Yeah i wasnt referring to your Rove, I specifically mentioned Rove 4k which i purchased that had starvis 2. U can refer to my original comment. For parking mode there is a seperate kit to purchase for the rove that needs hard wiring.
