It is not really 4k. Although the installation fits nicely with the santa fe, note that you are compromising image quality. So it depends what you are after. Seemingly ingegration with santa fe or quality. Something like Viofo A229 Pro 3-channel (3CH) has a much better img quality (night protection img is way better) .

I was backed into a few days ago - he left. Got him doing it, his car (with tag), and he got out to look. Everything date and time stamped, including when he arrived. Police were NOT pleased with him. Viofo A229 Pro, 3 channel. I haven't hard wired it yet (I have the kit). I'm plugged into my DLC.

For reliable dash cams that can withstand high temperatures in Australia and offer 3-channel recording (front, rear, and cabin), I recommend looking into the VIOFO A229 Pro 3-Channel. It features high-quality 4K UHD recording for the front, 2K QHD for the rear, and Full HD for the interior, making it an excellent choice for comprehensive coverage. While VIOFO does have models with 2 channels, the A229 Pro is specifically designed to provide robust performance in various conditions, including high heat. It also includes features like HDR and Super Night Vision to ensure clear footage in different lighting situations. Rather than supporting Amazon's evil ways and potentially getting a counterfeit product, I recommend supporting a smaller retailer that's going to offer you a decent price, actual support, and knowledgeable reviews. I usually order from [https://www.blackboxmycar.com/](https://www.blackboxmycar.com/) and have been very happy with their service. Now, since you asked for "best" and not "best at a reasonable price" I think you'll be looking at a Thinkware U3000 Pro (4K front and 2K rear), BlackVue DR970X-2CH (4k front and HD rear cameras) or VIOFO A329T (4K front and 2K rear cameras). I personally like the Viofo ones better because of the screen, but they don't have cloud capabilities. So, if you want to protect yourself from auto theft, where the camera leave along with the car, then you'll want something that's cloud-enabled like the BlackVue. In reality, each of the options above are way more cameras than anyone needs and are likely more expensive than what you're willing to pay. Each manufacturer also offers decent cameras with similar specs for much less. But without knowing your price point and you looking for "the best", those are it. For me, I'm more concerned about recording while driving and watching out for parking lot dings, so I'm fine with the Viofo. I have the A229 Pro in two of my cars and they have been flawless (https://www.blackboxmycar.com/products/viofo-a229-pro-4k-uhd-3-ch-dash-cam). It's available as a front (1ch), front+rear (2ch), or front+rear+inside (3ch) option.

The Camera is Viofo A229 Pro 3 channels. Project Farm on YouTube did a comparison. It has the best video quality. The battery is BlackboxMyCar PowerCell 8 with LiFePO4 battery and make in Korea.

Based on your needs, i would always suggest looking at VIOFO. You say you're not really needing night vision, but you want a sensor that picks up all available light to ensure the licence plates of vehicles are legible in the footage. With your budget of 300 Euro, I would suggest looking for at least a dual camera (front and rear) setup, you want the latest Sony STARVIS 2 sensors, so you want to be looking at the [Viofo A229 Pro 3CH at 320€](https://www.viofo.com/products/viofo-a229-pro-3ch-4k-2k-1080p-hdr-3-channels-car-dash-camera-with-sony-starvis-2-sensors-for-lyft-taxi-ridesharing-drivers) (a little over your stated budget, but I think it is worth it tbh )- this camera comes with a front, rear and internal camera. the front and rear cameras have the STARVIS 2 sensor built in, offering 4k resolution front, 2k resolution on the rear and 1080p on the cabin camera. It is parking mode capable with the hardwire kit. It has voice control and GPS logger built in amongst other features. One thing I will suggest is this camera, if you decide to buy it, has the ability to take a 512GB micro SD card - buy that size of card, 256GB if you cannot get a hold of the largest card. Also ensure the car you buy is a Sandisk HIGH ENDURANCE or similar rated for dash cam usage. The larger the card, the longer it takes to fill and start to write over the existing footage - essentially it will ensure your SD card lasts. I have had multiple cheap non high endurance cards crap out on me because the camera had worn it out and corrupted the footage and you don't want that to happen at the most inopportune moment when you really need the footage - this is a suggestion regardless of which camera you end up buying. Once you've bought the camera system, the SD card and the hardwire kit for this, or any camera in the same price range, you're looking at a total outlay of approx 430-470€ (320€ for the camera, 80-120€ for the 512GB micro SD card and 30€ for the hardwire kit) and then you need to factor in whether you can install the thing yourself or whether youwant to get someone in to fit it for you at whatever cost that may be.
