If you are in the market for a dual dashcam, I just got this from Vantrue Vantrue N2X 2.7K Uber Dash Cam... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0D9GRRXH5?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share which has been pretty good so far. I also got this https://www.bestbuy.com/site/sku/6506838.p?skuId=6506838&sb_share_source=PDP to go with it. Before this I bought the Viofo A119 mini 2 which was pretty bad as the app was not retrieving any videos and the camera was not recording the videos properly. It was cutting it off abruptly every 30-45 seconds. Give this a shot for about 170$.
r/Dashcam • Advise on Garmin Tandem users ->Vantrue N2x with the inside camera off so front camera has max resolution. Also hooked up Dongar Pro adapter to pre installed wiring in the headliner. I have it setup to record 4 hours after parking instead of always but zero wiring it’s lovely

Wife got me a front windshield cover that opens like an umbrella, I forgot to take the camera down so it was cooked. The inside cam worked, the forward camera blanked out

I didn't hardwire it, I worked the 11ft power cord along the inside of the front passenger A-pillar and along the door jam and under the passenger side carpet and plugged it into the power outlet in the center console since I never used it anyway. I've only had it for only 3 months but I like it so far. Except it does randomly take pictures and idk why 😂

It’s the next gen from the N2 Pro which is used by a lot of Uber drivers and has had good reviews and reliability. To get the function of recording for several minutes after engine shut off, have an extra battery bank or hardwire it.

r/dashcams • Dash cam for convertible ->Not bad, I'm ordering one now. My dashcam is a venture n2 pro with a GPS mount but the cord is only 3feet. The 12v power outlet under the radio stopped working last year. I haven't found a cable long enough with a micro USB connection.

[Vantrue has some good 2 channel and 3 channel cams](https://www.reddit.com/r/dashcams/s/65SdNGK6Jc) tried and tested. Same with VIOFO, Garmin, and blackvue. Stay away from Pruveeo.
