Is it needed? No. Don't let it stop u from getting it tho. It's very powerful and can give u a bit of a scare if ur not used to the dual motor power on it. Steering damper is a must. I will say it's a solid alternative to driving as u can easily be chilling getting to work avoiding traffic and if u need a bit of a boost that dual motor kick is solid. I say go for it but be prepared to do alot of hands on maintenance as from what I've heard alot of places won't work on the scooter. I'm the type to watch videos and use Chatgpt to figure out any issues. But I say go for it. Totally agree with this. I had a lower watt scooter before and once it hit 20–25mph it felt unstable as hell. That’s basically why I upgraded to the Arwibon 5600W the dual motor setup makes a huge difference in how secure it feels.
