I wouldn't get the thorn due to its shape, it fills the hand out a lot. Xlite V3 mini is the most narrow I'm sure. Im a little confused with you saying the Viper V3 was too wide. Ergo's are wider. E1 is going to be a well built mouse, it's not an EC3, just a tad smaller EC2. The DaV3 Hyperspeed has perfectly fine specs. Literally nothing wrong with them. It'll be a little more narrow than the Thorn and E1. I'd try it personally if I were you. I don't really use ambi's now. But if a Viper was too wide, maybe look at some top ambis on elo shapes, maybe one of the new ambi zowies is more narrow where you need it?

It feels like Pulsar pumps out a new mouse every week at this point. Their mice are decent overall, but I really wish they would get around to improving their click and build quality. I find it hard to go back to my Xlite ever since I tried out the Outset Ax and EC2-CW.

I have the exact same problem and most mice I've used so far caused me actual pain on my hand/wrist lol So far the x2h mini is the only "safe" mice I own. Ones I tested and can't use: any gpro based shape, Lamzhu Thorn, Pulsar xlite, any ulx based shape (causes less pain compared to the others but still far from comfortable). I'm looking into getting an op1 as it should be even flatter than the x2h at the front, at least when looking screenshots and 2d shape.

502 is a big mouse, but maybe you want something where the hump is a little taller and more so in the middle. Ec1-dw or Xlite large v3 or 4, ec1 will be slightly taller and more forward and the xlite is similar but a good amount taller. Keep an eye on that Razer vertical mouse they announced maybe. Eloshapes to help compare

I've been happy with Pulsar. I've been buying Xlites since the first wireless. While I own a pair of V3 Larges, the V4 made no sense to me. It's a V3.1 that isn't justifiable if you already have the V3. (So I never bought a V4) I'm currently running the X3. First thing I noticed was how shitty their skates are. With the Xlites I always had corepads ready to go on day 1. I think their stock skates have gotten thinner. Very easy to scratch a soft cloth mousepad. That lip is awful. On one of my Xlites v3s I did take a Dremel sander to them. Even with corepads it would scratch a specific mousepad I was running. Hoping corepads will solve this for the X3, but they're not out yet. So I ordered some dots in the meantime. I'll just need a lot of them.

I agree with the conclusion and I think that aligns with what a lot of us have been saying on r/MouseReview when it comes to high priced mice. I don't know Pulsar's sales numbers, they seem to be doing well. It just seems like Pulsar is going to lose their corner of the market as they approach Razer/Logitech prices, despite not having their brand/name recognition. The appeal of Pulsar was "Why buy a Razer Deathadder, when I can buy an Xlite Large for 2/3 the price?" And maining both of those mice for a year, I felt Xlite was the superior product. Now a year later, they've already become the brand... "Why buy a crazylight when you could buy a Scyrox for nearly half the price?" The only way I see Pulsar winning, is if they plan on taking down Logitech and Razer. The strategy seems like they've gotten way ahead of themselves. And I hope I'm wrong, because I do like Pulsar, but if this trend continues, I'll be looking for the next "pulsar" or whoever is selling the next $80 mouse with premium parts. (I suppose I already am, as I went from an X3 to Terra Pro) They're being ambitious. Somebody over there has big goals. But remind me in 5 years how they're doing. We'll see. At the moment, they remind me of where Glorious once was in the mouse market.

Dissapointing, been on this Xlite V3 mini all year and I love it, but V4 offers me very little to think about another Pulsar, X3 maybe being a different shape.... Wish they would just stay on one model, do a small upgrade without calling it V4 and offer new colours at launch. On that note, hope OP doesnt mind, but anyone had any joy on any other small/medium ergos? I always felt EC2 size was a little too big for me, but Xlite mini just a little too small, anything in between? Looked at E1 or Thorn but unsure. Maybe Paro if it comes around again.

Slightly smaller hands but I claw a bit too, went back to ergo because more comfy for MMOs as I am not playing FPS as much right now, find claw mice better for FPS. Anyway. Lamzu Paro might be another to add to your list. Will keep tabs on this however as I am interested moving to something a fraction bigger than my Pulsar Xlite V3 mini.

I was actually very critical of their terrible v3/v3es release. My thorn left click is starting to die so i gave the v4 a shot and i think its pretty solid. You can go back through my post history on mouse review and see I have talked a ton of crap about their QC. That said I think the v4 is a good cozy mouse for us 20x10 palm folks who want something palm-able but agile. I will say though that your criticism of them in how they handle churning out so many things is absolutely valid.

QC was so chalked on the v3 that they delayed it for what seemed like a whole year. I think the xlite shape is excellent. I'm very happy with the v4 but will not be preordering pulsar things anymore. My hands are 17,5x9 and i tried the Xlite V3 Mini. It didnt really click for me and i think it was the right side being a bit too narrow or the pinky winding up too far forward cause of the length. I'm on a Sword X now, i was afraid it would be too big but because it is pretty low for its size it feels very manuverable but at the same time comfortable. It's very easy to move it with just the fingertips or clamp down with the knuckles when needed.

Pulsar Xlite V3 and judging by how your pinky is resting with the mouse you have in the photos, i think the Xlite's shape will provide a more comfortable resting position for you. It's $70 on pulsars site right now, and with the leftover cash you have you could get a better mousepad as well. The Large QcK Edge is a decent pad that's cheap, pulsar has a few also like the ES2. https://www.pulsar.gg/collections/mice/products/xlite-v3-medium-gaming-mouse?variant=44387994173694

I have pretty much the same grip style and hand size. I found out for me that while the ec shape like the xlite are very comfy, they're sometimes not great cause I can't micro adjust with my fingers. I now really like either lower humps like viper mini/finalmouse inspired or something with a back hump like the Sora 4k. Allthough I think the lower hump is nicer.

I personally would go Zowie since they have more options but again it’s def subjective. Zowie has a questionnaire that could give you a better idea for what mouse to choose from their lineup. Just to let you know it often shows the DW version as suggestion but there is always the C version which is wired and cheaper.  Also if the website ever recommends you Zowie ec2-C, go with pulsar xlite v3 wired, it has a similar shape and is much lighter

Editing in text form of the review... **Text form if you don't care to watch the video:** I was excited to try the Pulsar XLite v4 because I have been using the v3 in Large for about a year now. Other EC alternatives I tried deteriorated in quality, or weren't close enough to the EC/weren't doing anything interesting shapewise for me to try (DAv3 Pro was my main and the scroll wheel exploded) **I was looking forward to**: new clicks, new build, new bottom plate/skate design. Of these things, they made the clicks worse, the build much better, and kept the same trash bottom plate and skates. **Clicks**: The raeshas were a complaint of last gen but they were snappy, kept their snappiness over a year, but were just too light. Furthermore, they slam click, so a low sens player like myself is prone to accidentally shooting/right clicking, which can lose you fights/rounds/games in something like tac fps. The new clicks (Kailh opticals) are heavier, but just awful. Inconsistent feeling on RMB and LMB, mushy, not snappy. These are an L and a genuine downgrade from last gen. The only good thing is that they implemented a slam click filter, which every competitor (Lamzu) can push a firmware update for, but Pulsar needs to release a new $100 "next gen" mouse to do so. Lazy. Also my left click started squeaking literally mid review video. **Build**: My XLite v3 Large creaked in 1 month of use. I don't really care about creaking as it doesn't affect in game performance but it more so shows you the level of attention to detail from the production process of the company. It's fixed from an initial impression with the v4. It was solid and squeezing didn't even force any creakage. Will it stand the test of time? I don't know (spoiler: because I'm returning my copy). Kudos to them here. **Base/Skates**: The base of the Pulsar series is trash. The reason is that it has an outlining plastic ridge around the skates for the skates to line up. Sound familiar? Logitech GPX does the same. How does the GPX sound on soft/xsoft pads? Nails on a chalkboard (see clip in video). Same thing here, good thing I fell in love with mid firmness pads. Using the exact same skates/base that have known issues feels lazy. Likely to prevent new molds/production costs. Should go for bigger skates that most people like as Razer did. **Old 4k Dongle vs. New 8k Dongle**: This is the most frustrating part of this mouse. It isn't compatible with the old 4k dongle and you have to get the new 8k dongle to get access to higher polling rates. I'm personally of the opinion that higher polling rates don't matter unless you need that competitive edge/assurance, but if you're going to market/flaunt 4k and 8k on the box, you better include that dongle in the box. Furthermore, how are we 1 generation of sensor tech from the 4k dongle and it isn't compatible? Razer's Hyperpolling dongle is literally compatible across 3 generations of sensors (DAv3 HyperSpeed 26k, DAv3 Pro 30k, Viper V3 Pro 35k). I don't give a shit if there is a real technical reason as to why the old 4k dongle can't pair to the new 3950 mice, in that case it's bad design and if there is no real technical reason then this is forced obsolescence. **edit per /u/pzogel comment below, this is due to making a new in house firmware vs an older compx solution. So a technical reason exists, however, it is quite a pain to the customer. He makes much more technical reviews than I do, so check his posts/reviews if you haven't before** **Conclusion**: Pulsar spend money sponsoring VCT Pacific and certain teams (ironically, most of these players will not be seen with Pulsar mice on stage) instead of bring their mice up to par with competitors. I'm always weary of products/brands that overspend on marketing (think Honey), so I make sure to really see if their product development matches their marketing. In the case of Pulsar, it doesn't. Their previous v3 model suffered from slam clicks, and they never pushed a firmware update whereas Lamzu did so immediately. They are forcing 3950 mice users to buy new high polling rate dongles instead of updating the old one to pair to new mice (see edit above). What's even worse is that during the making of this video, [Pulsar is now teasing their own proprietary switch with just the caption 2025 on Twitter, when I was literally mocking them in the video that they would release a v5 next year with fixed clicks for another $100.](https://x.com/PulsarGears/status/1873671656809664652) It's clear to see that Pulsar give f\* all about the quality of their releases and just want to push a new $100 product to you. I know many are hype for the X3 and will be ordering it, but for those that are a fan of their other mice, I urge you to find alternative brands that actually care about the consumer.

>But to pretend they're the same quality as a bigger brand is just copium. I mean there is nothing else like the X2 Crazylight from the higher-end brands so what else am I going to buy?? Razer is refusing to make high-end version of their mini mice, so if we were to compare the wired Viper Mini to the X2 Crazylight, the X2 has better quality outright. I used to own the Viper Mini SE (the magnesium shell) and it broke within a couple of days since one of the shell strut just snapped, my review even got mentioned in a GamersNexus video back in the day about the downsides of magnesium mice. It also has huge friggin holes, small scratchy feet, crap raesha switches, fingerprint magnet coating, and it's heavier overall. I really don't see why the X2 Crazylight is not considered the superior product over the Viper Mini, let alone the Viper Mini SE or the Cobra. Don't even get me started with the Xlite Crazylight compared to their wired Deathadder Mini and DAv3 hyperspeed. I have both on my table right now and the DAv3 HS has started to creak and the top layer coating on the thumb area is beginning to peel, revealing the bare plastic underneath the rubberised coating. My Xlite V3 Mini is still solid and the Xlite Crazylight is somehow more solid than the Xlite V3 and DAv3 HS despite being much lighter (also no more raesha switches). So... X2 Crazylight >Viper Mini / Viper Mini SE / Viper Cobra Xlite Crazylight > Xlite V3 Mini > DA Mini / DAv3 HS

I don't know exactly what you are talking about with your mouse grip, but I full palm my mice and have have 19x10 hands too. I found the DAV3 great for the hand filling shape and the thorn was surprisingly still quite comfortable to palm grip despite its smaller size (I think this is attributed to the larger hump?). Can't speak on the others based on QC, but they are pretty similar shapes I think. If I had to choose I would personally go for the Pulsar Xlite V3 large just because Pulsar is doing a sale on their old stock.

I have all or most of the mice mentioned in your post, and similarly have had issues finding a mouse that had a right side that felt normal. The XM2w caused my hand to cramp (even tho I played awesome with it lol) The E1 is the best overall mouse I've ever used imho. The shape is second to none in my opinion. I have the ec2-dw, the pulsar super light size 1 & 2ES) and many other ergos that aren't nearly as comfy. The cons to the E1 are - the buttons have a specific bounce/spring to them, so there is a tiny bit of rattle if you slam your mouse often - the scroll wheel is fine - the side buttons have a bit of a corner to them, (I just sand it down) I'm currently switching between the E1, the Viper V3, the Zowie S2-dw Oh, and the Sora is an awesome mouse with a great shape. It's god a cool internal structure that was fun to mod and get the weight super low. I missed having the curved finger grooves (so I added my own) but overall it's an awesome mouse that I mained for months before I got into ergos. The pulsar super light is awesome, but had specific curves (along the right side and front) where I never felt 100% comfy. I have the v3ES and the v3 size 1, and both were a bit off for me. And I also didn't love the raesha optical switches.... Best scroll wheels tho! The XM2w is certainly the best built mouse of these three. If there was a version that didn't have such an aggressive inward curve along the right side I would likely be maining this mouse. That and I wish it had finger grooves... It's so solid tho... My personal rankings: 1. E1 2. Sora 3. Xlite (does the v4 still use Raesha optical switches??) 4. XM2w (but if you like the shape, its potentially #1)

While the g305 is a good mouse, as someone with smaller hands, it caused me hand pain almost immediately. I think this was mostly due to the size and the sharp drop off on the sides of the mouse.  Getting a gaming mouse that works well for you personally can be a bit of hard thing to get right. I would look up some info on the different types of grips (claw, palm, and, fingertip) and take your hand measurements. r/MouseReview has a lot of good info.  As someone who has a relaxed claw grip I got the pulsar xlite mini v3 and love it.

I feel like I have a very similar hand size and grip journey. I eventually went back to relaxed palm using a Xlite V3 Size 3. Not only has it been more comfortable, my aim scores didn’t dip back down to when I hadn’t tried to learn claw. Turns out, I just got better because I was hyper fixating. Take this all with a grain of salt.

I appreciate everyone's help and suggestions! The corsair ironclaw was a close second, as it was just too narrow where my fingers rest. The g502x was TINY! The MX master 3s was also very small at the front. The pulsar xlite v3 large feels really good in my hand, but wasn't big enough still. The mx ergo was the one that fit my entire hand, however not usable for gaming. I would keep it for my productivity/work. The scimitar was nice and wide, just tiny. What was interesting about it is that the clear plastic that ships with it in the box to hold it in place was a PERFECT fit! I think I'll keep it to try to make a mold and eventually 3d print it. The darmoshark just fit weirdly for me.

I've got big hands, the best mice for my hands have been the Zowie EC1-CW and the pulsar xlite v3 large. The issue with the Zowie is it's quite old tech and it's quite heavy however they're expected to release the EC1-DW soon but there's no date set on release. The pulsar mouse already has a new version, they released the Xlite V4 large, I found that to be a really decent mouse but I think that's another one where you'd need to buy the 8k polling dongle separately.

My hands are slightly smaller than yours and the G502 feels like a toy to me so ignore these suggestions, it's marginally bigger than the basilisk but for big hands it's basically identical. In reality they don't make mice for us, none of them will fill our palm so I tend to pick mice with a decently wide footprint to get a decent grip on with my fingers, the mice that have been decent to achieve this for me are: Darmoshark M3, Teevolution Terra, Zowie EC1-CW (EC1-DW is the newest version), pulsar Xlite V3 Large (V4 is the newest version). None of these will your palm because they don't fill mine but they're wider and more substantial than the G502/basilisk shape which is narrow and awkward.

I recently got rid of my G502 because I never liked the shape, I got an Attack shark X3 and a Pulsar Xlite V3 Large. I actually like both of them, they're lighter and more accurate than my old mouse but as you can see my hands are enormous. I'm looking at the Razer Deathadder V3 and I'm wondering if it might be the best option for me right now. I like the ergo shape of the pulsar but I also default to kind of a claw grip due to having smaller mice for years, is there a chunky mouse that'll fit me or am I better off with something bigger than the X3 and just live with claw grip?

People that recommend the Viper Mini either havent tried it themselves or dont know better, that cable is stiff, thick so its not even compatible with mouse bungees I wouldn't subject a friend to that. The minimum I'd pay for a wired mouse with an actually good cable is around 2k for the Wired Razer and Pulsar options (Razer Deathadder V3 and Pulsar X2/X2H/Xlite Wired) and max at 3k-4k for the 8k options from Endgame Gear with good wired cables as well (OP1 8k and XM2 8k) at 1k the only reasonable option is VXE R1, whatever version you can get (avoid pro max, switches suck)

Hi there,I appreciate the comment..I just saw your post and your grip ..I would say you have kind of a pincer claw/forward palm hybrid style with a  pretty steep tilt. You really like to have your ring and pinky fingers on the edge and because you have short hands for that mouse(gpx)you are forced to rise your wrist and compromise health and stability.I would recommend for you a medium/small size ergonomic mouse.Deathadder Hyperspeed, Pulsar xliteV3 medium or small, lamzu thorn, zowie ec2-c or even ec3-c could fit you well, something in that line, doesn't have to be expensive, maybe a Chinese medium ergo with good sensor to see how you like it.You should try if you like medium or small better..Hope it helps...

EXACTLY the same problems as myself. I've tried a bunch of other shapes for my grip (pure fingertip/relaxed fingertip) like beast x mini, x2v2 mini, Atlantis mini, xlite v3 mini, and none came close to the feeling and aim potential the g305 gives me. the only mouse that worked similarly so far is the zaopin z1 pro, which is the only one I didn't sell and been maining since I switched off the g305. though, still waiting for a proper lightweight, good sensor and switches g305 clone (ATK please make one) so I can compare with the z1 pro.

A middle ground sounds great. Definitely need some innovation injected into the design process. I tried the Pulsar Xlite v3 and the Fnatic Lamzu Thorn recently, and while they were great mice, they just didn't feel right in my hand. The only thing that I truly love is the Razer Naga V2 Pro. I'd love to see some more innovation into mice that dive into the realm of MMOs/MMORPGs simply for the extra buttons.   My dream scenario: Razer comes out with a Razer Naga V3 Pro Wireless and the feature set of the new Naga is as follows:   **Overall** - * Significantly reduced weight (I use the 6-button side plate. Mouse weighs 131g). Around 70-80g would be welcomed. * Different color options. I'd love a Naga in that orange the [Fnatic Lamzu Thorn](https://us.maxgaming.com/bilder/artiklar/zoom/28212_1.jpg) uses. Maybe a blue like that [4Runner Voodoo Blue](https://www.butlertire.com/images/gallery/Toyota/4Runner/Toyota_4Runner_with_20in_Black_Rhino_Overland_Wheels/Toyota_4Runner_with_20in_Black_Rhino_Overland_Wheels_11886_30094_large.jpeg)? *Yes*   **Swappables** --- * Left, Right, Middle * Hot-swappable switches * Side Plates * Button Side: Keep the original 3 plate options **but** introduce a blank plate that consists of say.. 10-12 slots for buttons. Included in the package is a bag of many buttons consisting of different shapes. I personally love the 6-button (they label it as for MOBA's) side plate, but I would *love* an 8-button side plate. * Pinky side * Give us a few different plate options to customize the *width* of the Naga. * Scroll wheel * Different textured/weighted/RGB-accented wheels you can snap right into place. Maybe one that has a free/infinite ability like on some Logitech mice. * Palm * A few different plates for the palm hump. I haven't used it before, but that hump on the Zowie ZA13-DW looks so comfortable.

Hope i had this kinda luck with everything but never had a Deathadder fail on me (v2, v3, Pro). The V4 actually removes the mechanical scroll for an optical one, so the same scroll issue shouldn’t happen. If you like the shape but don’t want to drop 170 on Razer again, the Eweadn A5 Pro has the same shape. The Superlight 2 Dex does too, though it’s pricier. This year’s really been Pulsar’s, the Xlite series matches the shape and gets strong reviews

Are you looking for a Ergonomic Mouse or a Ambidextrous Mouse? If you're looking for something that is Ambidextrous, you could go with something like the Lamzu Maya X, Viper V3 Pro, G Pro Superlight. They are all pretty safe shapes. For Ergonomic Mice, I'd recommend either an Xlite v3 eS, Deathadder v3 Pro. Xlite v3 eS fills out my palm nicely with 19x10cm hands but I use relaxed claw more. But for you with relaxed claw / palm could be perfect.

Sorry I should have mentioned it doesn't have to be an eS version. (I defaulted to that as I have one). A normal v3 is the same, just different scroll wheel and lighter I believe. The Xlite v4 is the same as the v3 shape wise. The DAV3 Hyperspeed I believe is just a smaller Deathadder v3 Pro, and seeming as you didn't like the coating, I would have thought it would be the same, just a smaller version of the mouse. Another few mice you could consider is maybe a Vaxee Outset AX or E1 (I believe). They are however on the pricey side. Same with the G Pro Superlight Dex 2. Lamzu Thorn is a nice ergo IMO as well but I claw it and may be a bit too small for you.

I’ve been using Pulsar mice since the original X2 and the Xlite v3 was finally a mouse where quality was good enough that I could recommend to others. X2 V1 had double clicking issues, even on later batches. Rather than fix that and allow buyers to RMA, they released a V2 instead that people had to re-buy. X2H had the worst clicks of any mouse I’ve ever tried. They then finally released a good mouse in the Xlite V3 but at this point, I’ve just gone for the OP1w 4K and won’t be buying from Pulsar again.

Without knowing what you play or what your measurements are I’ll just toss a couple general recommendations for big handed folks. Since you like the m550L (which I use at the office, there is a quiet click version with side buttons) and you don’t totally hate the g502 (the thumb rest) my strongest suggestion is a keychron m6: /m7- the m7 is basically the 502 with better scroll wheel placement, the m6 is heavier but with a high center arch that you might find more comfortable. Seeing how you’re palming a 502 like it’s a children’s toy I’d also suggest the largest ergos: pulsar xlite v3 large (maybe this is called the v4 now)/ zowie EC1

Logitech stopped making good palm grip mice since the Millennium Falcon mouse. \- EC2/1-DW #goated \- Pulsar Xlite V3 Medium -only 75$ and it’s a little bigger than the EC2(MX518 size) and slightly too big for my average 18.7 x 9.8 cm hands to reach the right corner with my index finger and only 75$ total and don’t get V4 it has worse shape (top right corner isn’t comfortable) and speed skates Which Size? EC2 and the Xlite are very comfortable to grip at the front of the mouse with rounded corners and the front of the mouse if flat so you really can’t go too small as the smallest ergo I know of, the Xlite V3 Small, is really comfortable for me to palm as I can rest my index finger on the corner and it feels super comfortable like resting my index finger on the signature edge of the MX518. The difference is large size = more palm support for stable flicking with your whole arm and sizing down = your grip moves up on the mouse for more accurate wrist aiming so I would probably get the EC1 because it sounds like you don’t use wrist aim much and your flicks will especially be stable with the black skates applied but the Xlite V3 Medium probably won’t be much different in performance overall and half the price. **Warning:** I would stay away from the Razer DAV3/4 and GPX Dex unless you try it out in Best buy or somewhere as DAV3/4 has sharp edges and GPX Dex has flaring at the front that makes my right 2 fingers hurt like hell almost immediately.

you basically drew an op1 and VAXEE xe/xe-s. consider those or an ergonomic mouse like the vaxee e1, ec2/3-dw, or pulsar xlite. even the VAXEE np-01s might be the best shape for you, based on the issues described. it has more ring and pinky support than any non-ergo mouse I've used and you can easily be agile with it and have a flexible grip, while having more support for the thumb and ring/pinky fingers.

Pulsar X2V2 (Mini), X2H (Mini), and Xlite V3 (3 sizes) all have huge sales in different places. They use ball bearings in the scroll wheel and their own encoder, which is very reliable. They also have optical switches, which are free from any double clicking.  They are also still around 50-58g with a 3395 and solid for the money (look for them on sale for around $50-65).  If you're willing to pay more or go for wired mice, you've got a lot of options for reliable stuff. Vaxee, Zowie, and Endgame Gear products in particular.

as an owner of g703 and DAv3, i think youll love the Dav3. my only dislike was that it uses synapse. Oh, and the dongle is annoyingly hard to plug the cable into sometimes because it has like a mineshaft inside of it unlike the pulsar dongles. If you find that you dislike it for whatever reason, pulsar has a pretty much EC clone and I loved my xlite for years before I got my dav3.

Shape is king, man. I'm in the same boat. The Model D (EC1.5 shape) is ideal for my hand and play style. I used the SteelSeries Prime for a while—the length was fine, but the front was too narrow. Switched to the DAV3 Pro, which came close, but slightly too big and the sharp front edges irritated my ring finger. Just tried the Xlite V3 ES—amazing quality, best scroll wheel I’ve used, but the EC2-like shape is too short and I lose stability. I entered my ideal dimensions into EloShapes (between the Xlite V3 and DAV3, but with rounded corners), and the only match that I had not tried was the Glorious Model D 2. I avoided the Pro 1K/4K version because the side clicks pinch my fingers. The RGB version has a slight ring finger rest, which helps. Went with the wired version since the wireless reviews weren’t great—and honestly, it’s better quality than I expected. Scroll is nearly on par with the Xlite V3. I wish there were more options, but I’m happy with it for now. Maybe someday we’ll get a rounded DeathAdder or more EC1.5-style shapes.

Man I’ve been trying to find my end game mouse and it’s so frustrating! I had a GPW but I’ve been having some issues with it so I bought the pulsar xlite v3 medium and the DAV3 Pro and the Pulsar seemed a little small for me, I’m still deciding on the DAV3 Pro. I’m not used to using ergo mice, so I’m having a bit of trouble deciding if it’s comfortable or not. I’m used to the smooth centered hump of the GPW fitting right into my palm as it feels nice to rest my hand on the hump sometimes during fatigue. The DAV3 Pro hump is a little aggressive, especially for where it’s located, but depending on how I grip it, I can find comfortable positions, so I’m still testing it, as it’s still somewhat comfortable. I just got the white VV3 Pro today and I looooove the white and the coating and literally everything about the mouse EXCEPT the shape! I seriously want to love it soooo bad, it performs extremely well, feels like I have full control with it, super light, but man, even though the hump looks fairly centered, when you’re actually holding it, it feels like it’s more back-positioned, so it digs into your palm and kinda forces your wrist at a slight upward angle, putting more stress on your fingers and causing fatigue. I’m looking into trying out the Superlight 2 Dex and maybe the Lamzu Maya X. Is there anything anyone can recommend that’s close in shape to the GPW with a centered hump, maybe even a little higher? I’m not sure how I would describe my grip, I suppose palm grip? I do curl my fingers a little bit, but not aggressively enough that I would consider it a claw grip, but while gaming, I do tend to lift my palm slightly from the hump (sometimes still touching slightly, but depends what I’m doing in-game) with the bottom of my palm still making contact with the hump as well

I’d get the X3. I just picked one up last night coming from the GPW and I like it so far. The hump is fairly tall, but the back slope isn’t too aggressive, so I find that it fits right in the middle of the palm pretty well. I haven’t tested it super thoroughly yet, mostly just some web browsing and random screwing around, but so far seems pretty comfortable and responsive. The extra width helps with control, as well. For reference, I thought the DAV3 and Xlite V3 were ehh in terms of comfort, with the DAV3 having too aggressive of slopes and the Xlite V3 being a bit too small for me.

You clearly haven't used many ergos of you think they are similar. Pulsar x3 and terra are based on g703. Large mice. The dex is a little smaller and more of a right hand curve. The xlite es, sprime and keris 2 etc are right handed but more medium size mice. Knowing the size tou want is the biggest thing with ergos.

I've similar sized hands and the large xlite fits me well although it can feel a bit tall, especially with the [way I hold it](https://imgur.com/a/9y4dZtz) I think the best part of it is how the weight is balanced on it. for such a big mouse you barely feel it when swiping fast

you can replace the sniper button with a flush nonbutton piece on the new g502x xlite v3 large in the hand feels much larger than the g502x and it should be the same compared to the basilisk

honestly I love the features of the g502x but with my 20x11 hands I can't quite comfortably palm it. I still use it daily because the extra buttons are really useful for work but the xlite is much more comfy for longer gaming sessions I couldn't tell you how it compares to the basilisk but without the thumb rest the g502x would look like a elongated slightly ergonomic egg shape mouse. thin but bulbous rear end widens in the middle and then thins out at the top the xlite is a much more hand shaped mouse where theres a lot more surface for your whole palm and fingers to rest. I have no idea about those ROG and Corsair mice. But the Gladius looks interesting. Its closer to the Xlite but its taller in the rear and stays taller all the way to the buttons. I do know that the ASUS software is godawful though. If thats important to you. edit : I did note that on the Gladius the buttons extend to the side of the mouse which could bug you if you keep your ring and pinky extended forward resting

OP1 8K v2 is about $90 I think. That’s on the smaller side, and it’s well regarded as one of the best (if not categorically the best) mice for FPS. Even best mouse overall, it outperforms just about everything. Do you prefer symmetrical or ergonomic? The Razer Deathadder v3 is often on sale for $50-70, in my opinion it’s no slouch, it’s ergonomic. Much less of a performer as the OP1 but it is pretty decent. It’s large tho. If you’re interested in Pulsar their mini’s on the smaller size and I’ve seen some models (like x2 v2) on Amazon marked down to $70-90. Those will be wireless and are good. Pulsar also has an XLite (ergo) or X2 (wired) for $50, those are awesome choices IMO.

Right, but there are very unique charms about Vaxee that do make their products interesting. For cheap ergos I mean, Deathadder v3 Wired and you'd be in pretty good shape for $50. That's my take at least, I mained one for like 2-3 years and it worked out great. If you're willing to go wired you can even get a Pulsar X2 Wired or Pulsar Xlite Wired both are $50. That trio are probably the best budget mice I've tried. Now that I'm almost all wireless I can't go back, using a wired mouse feels so archaic. Vaxee is good but you are absolutely correct. In the budget category / $50 price range there are some top tier ergo shapes.

Height doesn't entirely correlate with hand-size. I'm not particularly tall, but I have bigger hands than a few friends over 6ft. What are your hand sizes and how do each of your typically grip the mouse during intense gameplay moments? Palm / aggressive claw / relaxed claw / pincer claw / knuckle claw / fingertip... combination of the above or other? First blush--without that info I'd just say that there are plenty of great mice that you don't have to spend a ton of money on like Scyrox V6/V8, Mad R1 Pro, etc etc. Also, if you're in USA, check if there's a local Microcenter near you as I've found incredible mice deals there periodically. I own the Pulsar Xlite v3 eS and quite enjoy it for non-shooting games or browsing. I'm not a big fan of ergos, personally, for shooters. I never seem to get as locked in as with ambi shapes. And if you do have large hands, def go with the Maya X and not the regular Maya. People seem to really like the new DAv4, so if you're 100% sure you want to do ergo and don't mind spending the premium, it seems like a good choice. The DAv4 seems to fix some quality issues people had with the DAv3, but that's not from personal experience, just from things said by reviewers and denizens of this subreddit. Waizowl OGM v2 could be an alternative to the DAv4... [Lethal.gg](http://Lethal.gg) sells them. I'd say define the size, budget, main features you care about and I and/or others can help more. =\]

Yeah I've got a FNATIC one. Before getting it I tried XLite V3 Mini, which is just a smaller ec2. It didn't suit me at all lol. My thumb couldn't get locked in anywhere. It was just sliding across the side of the mouse. And the side buttons are placed horribly, my thumb was way behind them buttons so I couldn't press them comfortably. So I returned the Pulsar mouse and got the Thorn. It felt much better, its more on a neutral side tho. And I really do like Raesha Opticals somehow. They're on a lighter side which I really like. I've got 77 hours in kovaaks (jade tracking complete with some master scores in VT benchmark) so I've got some thoughts about Thorn and Mad R. And I'm a glass pad user btw. Thorn - gives sooo much stability for me. I play relaxed claw, sometimes agressive claw. The mouse feels locked in while still having the finger movement. Mad R - light af but yk how it feels already with Hyperlight. My other friend who's much better at aiming than me said that Mad R felt bad for him cause its like raised at the bottom and his fingers just crawl under the mouse lmao. Overall I like it, I mainly play static with it (I SUCK at static). The only thing I don't really like are the Omron switches (most fucking rng switches on the market). They feel do hard to click somehow lol That's it ig, if you any more questions, feel free to ask :3
