Dreame - L10s Ultra Series

I Got the dreame L10s Ultra Gen 2 and I'm very happy with it. I bought one 7 years ago, and back then, the technology sucked. Nowadays, however, the technology is ready, and robot vaccums from mid range and up work very well.

I Have the same and it is easy of you Have HACS installed. From there install the "Dreame Vacuum" Integration (Beta version) and the L10s Ultra Gen2 is recognized.

Bang for buck - mova p10 ultra Money is no object/I want the best - roborock Sara's 10r or dreame x50 ultra Budget/cheapest option changes alot based on sales. Just the other week I bought a refurbished L10s ultra for $240 Honorable mention - the new eufy e28 can be had for $800. I think its worth considering because the roller mop system they have going seems to do really good for mopping in general.

It was fine but I returned it for 2 reasons 1) not great in corners (as expected) 2) if I forgot to pick up a wire, this thing was gonna send me an alert while I was at work telling me " mop pad came off" The L40 was on sale this week so I upgraded.

We have a L10s Ultra and after 3 years it doesn't mop properly anymore. There does not come enough water out of the vacuum. It mops dry. We took it to our local dealer and they looked into it and couldn't fix the problem. Would not recommend it. Such an expansive tool should work longer.

I received a Dreame L10s ultra for Christmas. It has been an amazing experience so far! Highly recommend

We are really enjoying our Dreame L10s Ultra Gen2. Bought it in the sale. My girlfriend was sceptical and called me crazy for buying it but since we have it it is running through our house every other day. We almost havent touched our normal vacuum since it arrived. It mop and, it cleans itself. The only thing you have to do is refill the water tank, remove the dirty water (and the water gets dirty) and replace the dirt bag in the station once every while.

Experience with 2 vacuums: I was using Mi robot (forgot model name; bought for 20k in 2020). It was a basic model with vacuum and mop functions. Worked okay, mopping was pretty ineffective if there are any hard stains. After a few years, battery life went down and mapping function also got impaired after we changed houses. Overall, 6/10. Recently bought Dreame L10s ultra. They needed some form filling to be done to get a demo person, which my mom couldn’t do, so by the time I did and by the time the service person came (1 week after filling form), return/exchange window was closed. The person discovered that the machine had faulty power button, and since I cannot return via Amazon, he asked us to send to service centre. They took a good 10-11 days to return the machine. Then the service person came, did demo, and we finally started using it 1 month after purchase. Although the initial service made us question the ROI, the machine itself is a dream indeed. My mom remarked that her slippers are squeaking on the floor because the machine did an excellent job at mopping. She manually swept the rooms today and said there was no dust and did the sweeping only for namesake. We also marked my grandfather’s room as a no-go zone and the machine does not go there. Overall, I am happy with this investment.

I’ve got a dreame L10s ultra and would never get one again.

The velcro on the mop mechanism got clogged up relatively quick after getting it. Now, the base unit can't fill the robot with mopping solution because my city water was too hard and it has restricted the filling valve. Robot routinely doesn't empty at the end of the cycle. Base doesn't seem to suck long enough and I have to end up manually emptying the dustbin. It's now strictly basement vacuum now and I wish I had never bought it considering it's original new price of over $1k.

L10 ultra owner here, well I got rid of it, in 1 year it started falling apart. Was unable get water from the dock, then eventually vacuum stopped, went back to Roborock. They are also not super durable but way better than dreame, not touching dreame again.

I can second this, using Dreame L10s Pro Ultra Heat, cleans better than maid, in terms for both mopping and brooming. We have both Glossy and Matt tiles, works better on Glossy tiles. The accessories do last up for months (3 at least), the only problem might be the cleaning liquid, it’s a bit expensive but you can clean mops yourself and spray Lizol and stuff on the floor if needed.

I read this stuff and wonder to myself did I get the only properly functioning robot but then I remember I have 2 and both of them function just fine. L20 Ultra and L10S. Is it just people with no issues say nothing? Are people not doing regular maintenance? I am not doubting anything said here but am genuinely confused as to how there can be so many issues.

Dreame L10s ultra certified refurb on eBay w/ 2 year warranty is the best value at $400 USD. Higher end features like hot water mop and dry, auto empty, dual spin mop and a camera for obstacle navigation. Dreame app is not as good as Roborock but it’s not bad either. Roborock Q8+ for around $400 is not bad either with some obstacle avoidance and electric fed mopping versus gravity fed (Q7). It’s just an older model at this point

I've got a dreamtech which has self cleaning mops and it does pretty good. I've also got 2 kids and toys all over the floor and it barely gets stuck.

As far as I can see the mops are spinning out not roller mops, which do clean the mops while mopping, for what it's worth. I have a LS10 ultra with spinning mops and it does a good enough job

I purchased a dreame l10ultra or something idk all i know is its overall cheaper than a cleaning lady and my stepson has horrible allergies and i cannot put a price on reducing the dust/hair/grime around the house to lessen his post nasal drip hacking by 1% 🤪 i kid…. I want him to be healthy and i love my cat. The cleaning robot helps both be true at the same time!

Highly recommended this if privacy is a concern for you. Go through valetudos list and find one that fits your needs, then wait for a sale. Personally I'm using a dreametech l10s ultra

If you can wait, the Dreame L10s Ultra Gen 2 is $699 with a coupon right now but has dropped to $599 before. That's a much better robot with better suction, obstacle avoidance, battery life, edge mopping, and probably app experience. The T20 does have hot mop washing while the Dreame doesn't. However, the T20 also does not have an onboard water tank, meaning it must repeatedly return to the dock to wet the mops. Also, when you say "fill itself" I assume you don't mean plumbing, since all of these robots will need the water tanks changed manually.

Nooooo that's the basic L10 Ultra without the "s" or the Gen 2. That would have the same horrible obstacle avoidance as the T20, and it also doesn't have mop extend for edge cleaning. Not sure how the vacuuming power compares in real world, but on paper the L10 Ultra is slightly worse than the T20. The L10 Ultra will have an onboard tank, but again the T20 features hot water mop washing. I think the L10 Ultra would be a better choice if you need to mop a large area.

of these 3 the Dreame L10s Plus has spin mops which are better than the other two with their "drag rag" type mops. The N20 Pro's mop is gonna be a little better than the L60 since it vibrates back and fourth a little bit as it goes but the spin mops are the way to go IMO none of these have the self cleaning mop station of course but your gonna be spending a bit more for that function. If you can swing it the Dreame L10s Ultra Gen 2 is 899 USD and has the full service dock (washes and drys the mop pads, refills the water tank on the bot etc) and also has the corner extending mop arm to reach the corners better. worth the couple extra hundred IMO. I have a Eufy X10 pro which has the full service dock and I love it. I dont have to worry about manually filling the water tank or cleaning the pads (aside from swapping them out weekly to run through the washing machine) I snagged mine for 520 refurbished on ebay though.

We also have the L10s ultra and I'm a big fan. Overall the functionality is great and I love having one device for both vacuuming and mopping. My only complaint is that the interface in the app is clunky.

I just got the Dreame L10S Ultra Gen 2, I think all of the Dreame robots have a rubber brush instead of hard plastic with bristles, and it seems to handle things well! I don’t have much long hair here anymore but I have two cats that leave fur everywhere It also caught an iPhone cable that my son left on the floor, got totally wrapped up but when I pulled on one end it just came right out, didn’t tangle at all. Also apparently Dreame has a special brush with some bits to stop hair from getting caught, I don’t know how well it works though.

We also have a roboroco (dreame ls10 ultra, at this point there are probably newer models) and I LOVE IT. I still need to pick up 6483939 toys and move my furniture before I use it but my toddler gets crumbs everywhere and we constantly have ants coming in from outside if we don't find every last crumb. I love that it mops. I find it a bit tedious to do the maintaince on it (cleaning the washboard, unclogging the self vacuum chute, replacing the mop pads) but it's honestly 1/1000 of the work of mopping yourself even just one time. My husband (who has vacuumed twice in 15 years and never mopped) thought it was an extravagant purchase at first but he's been converted too. 

Hya, I’m trying to replace two very old Roborock S5, which are in ever increasing need of fixing small issues. I live in NZ and the options are more limited than in the US or Europe. I’d like to upgrade to a self-emptying and self-cleaning vacuum mop combo. Within budget I got four options for essentially the same price: Dreame L10S Ultra Gen 2 or Roborock QRevo L or ECOVACS Deebot T30 Omni or Roborock S7 Max Ultra. My house is relatively small (less than 100sqm) with a mix of lino, carpet and rugs. I’ve got a moulting dog, but poop is no issue. However, obstacles can be an issue (nooks and crannies, forgotten charge cables, shoe laces, challenging furniture shapes). I’ve spent hours comparing, but feel I’m comparing apples and oranges, specs vs. real world performance, outdated reviews etc… I’d appreciate any advice you can offer. Thank you.

Thanks for sharing! Much appreciated. The L10S Ultra Gen 2 has done away with the accessible camera. I assume because of people’s privacy concerns. Not quite sure what hardware they use for the obstacle avoidance, and what the remaining privacy risk there is. The available info about the hardware seems limited. I like Roborock as a brand and their app. However, this QRevo L version I can get for a good price hasn't got the flexiarm mop you get with the Pro. This kind of feature seems to make quite a bit of difference achieving almost edge-less mopping from what I’ve read. I hadn’t come across this QRevo L before. It seems to be a basic version with suction increased to 10kPa.

I just grabbed a refurb L10S ultra for $320. At that price I figure it’s worth a shot to see how it compares to my older T8+.

The L10S Ultra has got to be the value champion especially at the $320 refurb with 2 year warranty. But definitely seems like things cycle out quick.

The Mova P10 pro ultra is the best bot for the money. If you can swing the price, it's the one to get. The Dreame L10S Ultra gen 2 [can be found on eBay for $350](https://ebay.us/m/iTkvvP) at the moment, which I personally think edges out the Mova in value. However you will lose the hot water mop washing, extending side brush, self-cleaning dock, improved obstacle avoidance, and remote camera viewing features of the Mova. (Mova is a sub-brand of Dreame, btw)

I’ve had the dreame l10s ultra for about a year and a half and I love it. It was the newest model when I bought it, but they’ve introduced a few newer ones since. It had (at the time) all the same features that higher end ones had, but after a promo deal and coupon it was about 1/3 the price. I’ve also been able to upgrade some of the accessories on Amazon (or for a much better price if you’re willing to wait a bit aliexpress), like the anti-wrap roller that have worked like, well, a dream. I would recommend looking into the dreame brand robot vacuums if you’re looking for a good value.

Hey there. X20 Max owner. I was considering the Xiaomi models and the X20 Max is a step up in terms of cleaning performance compared to the X20+. Also, hot wash mops and drying saves a lot of time cleaning and maintaining with the station. A robot vacuum is intended to last anywhere between 3 to 5 years, so it’s worthwhile to invest in some additional features you’ll appreciate later on. You might want to check out Dreame L10s ultra pro as well. Similar to the X20 Max, with additional cleaning customisations and a RGB camera (you can watch over the corgis when you’re away haha) Both Dreame and X20 Max allow scheduled cleaning (based on time). You could also tie it up with a Xiaomi home camera and set up instructions to clean when it detects no one in the house after X mins. Both models have tonnes of 3rd party accessories, so you’ll never have to worry about finding replacements. Just make sure you get a good tricut brush for the hairs. Hope you find a good deal. Oh man. No brainer. Go for it, L10s Ultra gen 2 for the win haha. I think you’ll lose out on the hot washing mops, a feature I really appreciate. But users have survived without it :)

If you’re an Amazon Prime member, you should look out for the Dreame L10s Ultra Gen 2 @ $499. Does well with transitions between rug and hard flooring, with good mop raising clearance. Tassels are tough, so might need to tuck them in for the RV to not grab them. You can buy a lot of 3rd party accessories for it (mop pads, tricut brush - for better hair cutting performance) Only seen great results with mopping and vacuuming. Its obstacle avoidance is pretty good as well (at that price point)

Guys, the L10s ultra Dreame is $550 right now. I briefly owned an s7 maxV and found it identified and avoided more obstacles than my L10s Ultra. The roborock pathing also seems more intelligent and would simply maneuver around the obstacle rather than having to look back three to four times to make sure it avoided the object(L10s U). Perhaps Dreame has come a long way, but I found the software and obstacle avoidance was far superior on the roborock.

The L10s Ultra was Dreame's flagship at the time and retailed for a little over $1k. It is a fair comparison given it was in the same league as the S7 maxV at release. Keep in mind that there are several versions of the L10 and you may be mistaking it with a model missing the sophisticated obstacle avoidance hardware. That said, I recall the QRevos have more in common with Dreame robots than the S7/8 maxV models(share parts with the Xiaomi brand). It's possible the S-tier received special treatment, which could explain why the S7 maxV behaved with more sentience

I bought the Dreame X40 Ultra. Same features, but cheaper. I also own a Q Revo and a Dreame L10S Ultra. The Q Revo has had a lot of issues in the year I've owned it. The L10S is still going strong, so the X40 was the obvious choice for me.

Got the dream a few weeks ago. It's a game changer. I had a Neato and a few iRobots over the years. With those units, I spent more time pulling out dog hair and untangling rollers than actually using the product. This is a lot more advanced, and with the self emptying, it's pretty great. All I do now is swap out the water tanks every day. Gripes? The mop pad on the base station gets hairy. It has difficulty getting dirt between the edge of the rug and the hardwood floors. It's expensive. All in all, it's a nice machine.

Thank you kindly for your reply! The mopping is more important than rug vacuuming. I ended up with the Dreame L10s Ultra Gen 2. It washes and then dries the mop heads with warm air. It has most of goodies like dirt detection, obstacle avoidance, mop extension, higher mop lift than gen 1. It does all this from a small footprint base station. We have a very small one-floor house. We were paying $137 each month for maids, it will pay for itself in no time. Amazon is selling for $550 USD.

Get Certified Refurbished eBay. I grabbed an L10S Ultra for $240 and a qrevo for $330. Dreame and Roborock are the brands. Both units seem pretty much brand new. If you want the latest and greatest, you'll be spending $1.5K plus. Search for deals, as the eBay coupons are timing dependent.

L40 Ultra with current in store promotions will definitely make the decision a lot easier, since it can be had for $399 before tax, plus they throw in free gifts with purchase. It's a better overall model than the L10s with more suction, battery, better self washing and washboard cleaning as well. It's a steal for the price and if you were considering one over the other, I'd say overall L40 Ultra is a great value product in the market right now. In this price range you can get a Dreame L10s Pro Ultra Heat, currently for a good deal. Has a base station and rotary mop pads that will do a better job overall than the Philips and mopping. Similar battery life but the Dreame has better suction so it will be better for picking up things on carpet. worth looking into currently for the price.

If they all cost the same, go for the Dreame L10s Ultra Gen 2. It has the highest suction at 10,000 Pa (higher than the Roborock QV35s at 8,000 Pa and the QV35a at 7,000 Pa), an excellent dual mop system with auto-wash and dry, AI obstacle avoidance, and one of the best mopping systems available. The Roborock QV35s is still a fantastic option, with strong 8,000 Pa suction, Roborock’s superb app, reliable dual mop system, and great mapping. If you prefer Roborock’s ecosystem or app design, it’s a great pick — just know it has slightly less suction than the Dreame. The QV35a is essentially a QV35s with 7,000 Pa suction. It’s only worth it if it’s meaningfully cheaper. The Q Revo Plus is older, with 5,500 Pa suction and fewer advanced features, so it’s a step behind these newer models.

Went with a dreame L10s ultra gen 2 for £479

I don't recommend Dreame if you use an Android phone. I bought an L10s last year. It was connecting at first but after a reset it wouldn't connect to my Pixel at all. It did seem to work with my mother's iPhone but that wouldn't be useful for me so I returned it. The other big thing was that when I went to leave a negative review due to all the frustration, the review never got posted. I was fair and simply stated that for me it didn't work well with Android. I rewrote and submitted a few times; there was always a review waiting period but it was never posted. The fact that most of the Chinese robot vacuums are rated so highly on Amazon, and the fact that these companies are connected to Xiaomi has left me very suspicious that the reviews are being manipulated or bought. Many of the YouTube reviews also seem paid without any declaration of being sponsored. In contrast, the reviews from Rtings or news sites were so much more critical. I don't want to support these type of shady companies so instead I bought a Shark which I have to try soon.

I have the dreame l10s ultra and will say for the price (under $500) it has been amazing. I’ve had it for a little over a year and use it often.

Unfortunately, all the models that are good with dealing with hair and are good at mopping do require dust bags. The official ones are cheap to buy on AliExpress or Taobao. The roborock Q Revo Curv/Edge was mentioned here but as it is not available in the Australian market and the fact that it will be priced beyond your budget, I do not recommend it. As such, I’d recommend the Dreame L10S Ultra as it is the only one that can deal with long dog hair at this budget. People have said fur and hair can go to the sides but this is an easily avoided problem if you buy the accompanying brush cover that prevents it from doing so. If you’re okay with cleaning fur from the sides for better carpet cleaning, you could also consider the roborock s8 pro ultra for its double rollers. I do not recommend ecovacs for several reasons. I remember a Korean user at a net cafe complained about how their much more expensive ecovacs model that was recently released failed to pick up loose fur balls even when their much cheaper Xiaomi model could.

There are much better robots you can buy at the same price or lower. There is the dreame x40 ultra for £1099 which will greatly outperform the deebot x5 pro. It has hot water mop cleaning, tangle free vacuuming with the TriCut brush, and good mopping. Dreame robots have the best edge cleaning out of all the brands. There is the dreame l40 ultra for £849, a much better deal as it is essentially the same as the Dreame x40 ultra except for battery life. Since you didn’t mention having a pet, I think the best value choice is the dreame L10s ultra Gen 2 (£549). Also tangle free vacuuming with the TriCut brush, strong all-around performance, but no hot water mop washing. Just take care of your cables and it’ll do well.

What about a refurbished Dreame flagship like the Dreame L10S Ultra? It comes with a 2 year warranty from AllState and is compatible with the dreame TriCut brush and the accompanying brush cover which has worked great for hair in my home. The Dreame L10S Ultra Gen2 would be a good choice especially with the TriCut brush.

If the Dreame L10S Ultra Gen 2 is cheaper, I’d go for it over the X20+ as it’s much more feature rich. It can also use the antitangle TriCut brush.

Do note you will have to clear out any tangles on the side of the brush from time to time. I recommend buying an officially refurbished dreame model L10 something model as you can use the TriCut brush and the self driven self cleaning mop washing tray with it.

below 700 USD would be the Dreame L10S Ultra Gen 2 (8990000 Rp). This is what I’d recommend if you’re on a strict budget. If you want a rather smart one that can decide if certain areas need to be mopped or vacuumed again, I’d choose the L30S Ultra 11,790,000 Rp, which seems to be just slightly above your budget. Both robots have good mapping and navigation.

The Dreame L40s Pro Ultra (£799) will be the best budget premium robot vacuum in the UK, as it is essentially an X50 Ultra, if you don't need the threshold-crossing ability or the retracting LIDAR, while being cheaper than the X40 Ultra. Everything else will be the same. It'll have the best self-cleaning ability at the best price due to the AceClean dryboard, which cleans itself much better than the Dreame X/L40 Ultra and the self-cleaning filter in the dustbin (works best if you set it to vacuum first before mopping, as mud won't be in the filter). It's also great for homes with pets that are heavy shedders, as it also has a live fur compression feature that compresses the fur in the dustbin as it vacuums to make the best use of the dustbin's space and mitigates the issue of the dustbin being clogged yet having space on the sides, something only available on the L50 Ultra and the X50 Ultra. It'll pick up fur and hair from carpets better than the Tricut brush, as it has dual rollers. I really liked how it was able to mark my furniture as something it could get stuck on and smartly cleaned around it, instead of trying to climb my coffee table with U-legs, something my LDS-only robot couldn't do (it tried humping it instead). The best budget option will be the [Dreame L10s Ultra Gen 2](https://dreamestore.co.uk/products/dreame-l10s-ultra-gen-2-robot-vacuum-and-mop-with-self-cleaning-and-auto-empty). Due to the lack of an RGB camera, the obstacle avoidance won't be as good and wouldn't be as good at self-cleaning compared to the L40s Pro Ultra. If you want it to deal well with pet hair, you'll need to purchase the Tricut brush as well. For the Xiaomi robots, the X20 Pro is a good choice, but obstacle avoidance is the same as the Dreame L10S Ultra Gen 2, and it cannot extend and swing its mop (MopSwing is on for the L10S Ultra Gen 2 in some purchasing regions) like the above choices. It is also compatible with the TriCut brush if needed.

I’d choose the dreame L10S Ultra Gen 2. Should have better mop extend algorithm and detergent tank helps with washing mops. TriCut brush + TriCut brush cover is great. You’d only have to untangle hair stuck on the side brush. There is also more smart customization in the Dreame app than Xiaomi’s app.

Not as good as the L10S Ultra Gen 2

I like how Jamie Andrews tests aspects that are advertised for quality of life (self cleaning the dock and using hot water) whereas vacuumwars simply rattles them off like a sales brief checklist. I can confirm Dreame does reach the advertised hot water temperature listed (I tested myself with an electric thermometer connected to the area on the washboard where the water would flow from the pipes) and it usually hovers at about 5-10°C below the advertised temperature before reaching it for a second or two. Don’t know about the new AceClean dock as I don’t have it but Dreame told me any misplacement of the temperature probes will result in measuring errors of more than 10°C.

It depends on tall your thresholds are: For single thresholds: Up to 2cm: most modern robots can cross with no difficulty Up to 2.2cm: Dreame L/X40 Ultra. The dreame models with the EasyLeap wheels (L40S Ultra/Pro Ultra and the L50 Ultra) can cross the first threshold up to 2.2cm and a secondary threshold right after up to 1.8cm Up to 3cm: roborock models with the AdaptLift chassis. It can cross a single threshold up to 3cm and a secondary threshold right after up to 1cm. Up to 3.5cm: the MOVA P60 Pro Ultra (mainland china only for now) has active suspension like the roborock Adaptlift chassis and the EasyLeap edge climbing wheels to climb a single threshold up to 3.5cm and a secondary threshold up to 3.5cm. Up to 4.2cm: Dreame X50 Ultra, Dreame Aqua 10 Pro Track, and the MOVA V50 Ultra all can cross a single threshold up to 4.2cm if the threshold is shorter than 9-10cm (5.2cm if the threshold is sufficiently long enough) and a secondary threshold up to 1.8cm.

MOVA P10 Ultra and dreame L10S Ultra Gen 2 has LDS sensors only. The MOVA P10 Pro Ultra and the x40 ultra has an RGB camera and LDS sensors. These will do better for obstacle avoidance~

Both the S20 Ultra and L10S Pro Ultra Heat have RGB cameras. Only the S20 has a led fill light for dark environments, the L10S Pro Ultra doesn’t. I don’t think the obstacle avoidance on both machines will be as good as the X40 Ultra though. L10S Pro Ultra heat has warm water mop washing and mop extension.

The dreame L10S Pro Ultra Heat is really nice with long hair with the TriCut brush and the TriCut brush cover but will get hair tangled in the side brush but this is easily removable. QRevo Master will have hair stuck on sides of brush but all-rubber brushes are also pretty good at resisting tangles on the brush. I think the Q Revo Master would be better than this specific dreame model at obstacle avoidance but you’d still have to tidy up wires and what not as roborock likes to have the wires take off its mops for some reason.

Any pets or long hair? The Dreame L10S Ultra's compatibility with the anti-tangle tricut brush would be better suited. A robot vacuum is worth it if you want something to do basic general upkeep of your floors.

L10S Pro Ultra Heat can clean the mops, dry them and autoempty the dustbin but that’s about it for cleaning itself. These other robots can clean the mop washboard which cleans the mop and usually can get dirty as the plastic nubs that rub against the mops will trap dirt. Some can clean the filter by blowing air against the filter when autoemptying.

Dreame’s L10S Pro Ultra Gen 2 can use the antitangle TriCut brush. It has worked perfectly for my long haired corgi that sheds so much. A small amount of fur will collect on the sides of brushes if you don’t use the correct brush cover which prevents this from happening. For the QRevo S, the all rubber brush works well at resisting tangles with fur collecting on the sides but as soon as there’s a cut on the rubber, it’ll easily tangle (same for Dreame’s all rubber brush). Xiaomi X20+ is better for homes <50sqm because there’s no onboard water tank. I’d get Dreame’s L10S Pro Ultra Gen 2 because it has much more features that work compared to the other robots in this price range. Ecovacs’ T50 Pro Omni has navigation issues due to an embedded lidar and obstacle avoidance issues because it has an RGB camera but no led fill light for dark environments. It can also only map up to 100sqm which wouldn’t be suitable for larger homes.

Mopping has greatly improved! Those with spinning mops do quite well in your price range! If debris is well removed from the floor with the vacuum before it mops, you won’t have the issue of the spinning mops dragging around larger debris which will scratch your floor. As for self cleaning, you’d still have to clean the base station’s mop washboard from time to time but it does a pretty okay job cleaning the mops (I recommend writing the robot to clean its mops on the deepest setting and the highest frequency at first then fine tuning based on your home). In Germany, I’d recommend the Dreame L10S Ultra Gen 2 which is going to be the most cost effective option based on features and cleaning performance in your price range. I run my rather basic Xiaomi robot (similar to the Dreame L10S Ultra Gen 2) to vacuum first then mop twice a day. The end result is that my wood floors feel much softer and have a visible sheen and the tile floors are very barefoot friendly and are very shiny!

Thanks for sharing! I hypothesize that the X50 Ultra's poor battery life is likely due to the more power-hungry computer chip it utilizes. My own experience with the L40s Pro Ultra (mainland Chinese version) had a *worse battery life* that struggled to finish cleaning my home whereas my much cheaper combo Xiaomi robot (also mainland Chinese version) that has the same battery capacity and is also made by Dreame would be able to vacuum first and then mop my small apartment and finish with 50%. Other reviewers have reported that the L40s Pro Ultra (non-mainland Chinese edition) had a bad battery life, just like me :( Hopefully, this issue will be fixed soon. I hope the Dreame Aqua 10 Pro Track doesn't suffer the same battery life issue, especially because it'll need a more powerful chip to process all the information coming from the HD binocular RGB cameras and the dot projector, and a power-efficient water heater in the robot to heat the water up.

1. It really depends on your purchasing region. Costco is a popular choice given its generous return policy but choices are rather limited compared to buying from Amazon which has an easy return policy within 30 days. For other purchasing regions, buying from a reputable retailer with a good return policy and an optional protection plan would be good. In Australia, I heard Harvey Norman is nicer with returns compared to JB HIFI. 2. The robots with the best self cleaning will be Dreame’s L/X50 Ultra/L40S Ultra/Pro Ultra and MOVA’s V50 Ultra P50S Ultra > MOVA’s P50 Ultra/ Pro Ultra > Roborock’s models that have spinning mops with the Multifunctional Dock 3.0 (roborock models with a vibrating mop have a washboard that is more difficult to clean as you can’t remove it) ≈ Narwal Freo models (completely detachable base) > Dreame’s models with the mop-driven wiper mop washboard (cleaning the wiper washboard is rather difficult since there’s too many nooks and crannies and you’d still have to get down to clean the areas the wipers can’t reach) > other combo robots with an all in one base station As for combo robots with roller mops and have an all in one base station, the washboard is generally flat with a few grooves so it’s pretty easy to clean. I believe most of their washboards are removable. However, it’ll require more cleaning in the mop compartment and dirty water tank. Most roller mop models have an annoying cylindrical component which drives the roller mop like an upright wet dry vacuum but you can’t remove or move it to give it a deeper clean even if gunk is stuck on it. The only combos that are close to the level of self cleaning for spinning mop models are Dreame’s Aqua 10 Pro track, the MOVA Z50 Ultra, and the Narwal Flow since both have self-cleaning mechanisms that are made to also clean the dirty water tank and the mop compartment while also having a very easy to clean mop compartment since the thing that moves the mops is also completely removable. If you want to support a US startup, you could look at the Matic since it’s a vacuum and mop robot but taking care of it looks rather easy since it lacks a base station. The maintenance involved is replacing the bag, refilling the water with a cleaning solution of choice, occasionally cleaning the roller mop, the roller mop filter, cleaning the brush roller and de clogging the mop tubes if needed.

>Harvey Norman are notorious for being a pain in the ass with warranties. Wow, I had the understanding that adding a protection plan from a retailer like Harvey Norman would help. Especially since some retailers would let you replace it with a robot of the same value if it were broken during the protection plan period. :( I think the Dreame should navigate better, as it has a lidar tower (C20 Omni only uses a front laser) and has more features and customization in the DreameHome app. I do like the detergent tank option, which is used to clean the mops.

If you want a vacuum only robot, I’d look at the AEG RX9-2-4ANM https://www.robocleaners.com/en/aeg-rx9-2-4anm.html (Not an affiliate link). This robot won't ao very well tor dealing with hair and fur on the brush roller but this is the best robot vacuum if you're only considering vacuuming performance (along with the Dyson VisNav which is considerably more expensive but the thicker roller means it’s less prone to tangles). If you want an autoempty station, I’d look at the roborock S8+, Roborock Q5/Q8 Max+, or the eufy E20. If you want a combo, I'd recommend the Dreame L10S Ultra Gen 2 (599), Xiaomi X20 Max (539), the Xiaomi X20 Pro (439), the Xiaomi X10+ (399) as these robots are better suited for larger homes (<60-100sqm) as it has an internal water tank so it won't need to constantly go back to the base station to clean the mops. The Xiaomi X20+ lacks an onboard water tank and must rewet the mops and can become dry when mopping before it resets it. This is generally less water efficient which is why I recommend the previous models. I’d recommend the Xiaomi X20+ for homes smaller than 50-60sqm. All of these robots are compatible with the dreame anti-tangle TriCut brush which works great with my long haired corgi’s fur and long hair in my home.

I just flashed a dreame l10s ultra heat. I can tell you the breakout board is not necessary. Just used a USB cable cut of one end and connected the robot with standard jumper cables to the cut USB cable. Just need to connect d+ d- and ground. The breakouts button just connects the boot select to ground, which can also easily be done with a jumper cable.

I can not reccomend Dreame. I had the L10s ultra gen 2 and it left big water stains on the wooden floor. The other Dreame robot could not give water anymore.

No there was no air problem. I just could not give water. I also checked for chalk but there was none. I had it for 2 month or so and it was already defect. I asked what I can do and they said that I should send it back. Thats what I did. Then I bought the L10s ultra gen 2 and had it for about 2 month. Every time I started the robot it left big stains of water. It also was not mopping correct. There was always a dry line between the two mops. It is kind of unbelievable what garbage they are selling. My Roomba 620 is still working after 15 years. Of course it is a completely different thing but everything from dreame does work for two or three month or so. It is a joke. Also Ecovacs is imho total garbage. I had a Roborock which was better but I received it with a broken part in the station. Therefore I am looking for a new robot.

I just bought the Dreame L10S ultra Gen2 and I’m excited to get it! My second choice was the Roborock Qrevo QV35A but Just A Dad on YouTube helped me make my decision!

Stay away from ROOMBA! I’ve had a great experience with my Dreame L10S ultra gen 2, bought it at Amazon. Don’t buy through manufacturers because they can not do anything and claim what’s wrong isn’t under warranty. Amazon will make sure they fix it if you get a warranty through them. I’ve heard many great things about Roborock as well. If you want to spend extra money you can go with ecovacs or Euphy. Don’t get shark unless your going to get one of the AI detect Vac only bots.

I got the Dreame L10 ultra. It has everything you wish for and is in your budget. I can recommend. You can start it remote and it vacuums and wipes in one go. You just have to prepare your apartment so nothing lays on the ground and open the doors.

The value/performance ratio of the L10s Ultra is just so good. Every time I go look at the newer stuff from Dreame there's nothing really fundamentally better. They are all just iterations of the L10s Ultra with wildly higher price tags. The upcoming X50 Ultra with lifting wheels does look really cool, but I personally have no use case for it. The L10s Ultra mops and vacuums really well and is very cheap right now. Very hard to beat.

The Gen 2 is not supported by Valetudo, only the "regular" L10s Ultra.

Our L10s Ultra is awesome, however I don't think the obstacle avoidance is that great. In general, I think if people are expecting to never have to pick things up off the floor, then they will be disappointed. The kitchen is the only area that gets automatically cleaned every day. The rest I manually trigger after doing some prep like moving shoes and chairs. The lidar mapping is fantastic and the mopping is a game changer. Being able to automatically clean the kitchen every night after cooking has made such a huge difference in cleanliness. It's shocking how dirty the waste water always is.

Ecovacs is better, I guess. I heard it's good and reliable. After-sales won't be great with most of these brands. It's all about luck. And coming to the products, I bought Dreame - L10s Ultra in the last sale at a good discount, and it's doing well as of now.

You mentioned ECOVACS DEEBOT N30 Pro, right? it does have a water tank, na?. Mine was Just Ultra, not pro Ultra. The main difference between Ecovacs - Deebot N30 pro and Ultra is the Zero Tangle Brush and corner mopping, where the mop moves at corners. If you do mopping daily, then yes, the water tank is worth it. I've been using it for a week or so; so far it's good.

I read the same Wirecutter article and got a vacuum only (refurbished rooms j7+). It works great but I regretted not getting a mop combo for our main floor. So I got a dream L10s Ultra (also a refurbished eBay buy) and moved the rooms upstairs. I love it so far. Hoping the dreame holds up - but I think mopping has gotten far better than to used to be and think of it as “maintenance” not deep clean then it’s amazing.

Usually I would say the l10s due to the tri cut brush but since you don’t have animals, I’m not sure that’s necessary. If you have long haired humans in the house the dreame. If not, whatever is cheaper currently.

I snagged myself a dreame l10s ultra gen 2 for that price, been vacuuming everyday and mopping two times a week for a couple of weeks now. Hard tiled floors with one carpet, worked flawlessly so far.

L10s pro ultra heat. We recently bought three, two for our two level house and one for our vacation home. This model is the sweet spot for features and value. I got them from Amazon.ca during a promotion that included a free tri-cut brush roller which results in no long hair tangles. Paid $499 CAD for each including the free tri-cut brush roller. We chose this over the L10S ultra Gen 2 because the Gen 2 doesn't have an AI camera for obstacle avoidance. I've also seen a Reddit post where a guy owns a few higher model dreame vacs and his favorite is the L10S pro ultra heat. FYI we use mop after vac and moisture setting number 27. Works great with very little maintenance.

I got my gen 2 about a week ago, so I still dont have the full picture, but I think the weakest part so far of the robot is navigating and cleaning near carpets. It tends to act a bit confused and it is not 100% effective. Maybe it is some setting that is not correct in the app, for instance it is difficult to edit carpets in the app. But other than that it works fine. But we also only have 2 carpets at home, so it is not a big deal right now.

The Dreame l10S is a good option. It's object avoidance is around as good as Eufy's but Eufy's will still be a bit better. Even at $1000+ there still isn't a robot vacuum that works perfectly yet.

Dreame l10S or l20 if you are trying to save money Dreame x30 if you have a little more money to spend Dreame X40/L40 if you want the best. If you only have hardfloors, the Eufy S1 pro I also like the QRevo Slim if you want something from Roborock but I am disappointed with its Object avoidance capabilities when compared to Dreame and Eufy. Roborock in general is quite trash at obstacle avoidance and it makes it hard for me to trust their vacuums to run on a schedule without having to babysit them but their hardware is solid and reliable. Skip the Eufy x10 that so many shills like. It's got a lot of features that look good but in reality they aren't very well implemented. I had two of them and Eufy partially refunded me for both of them due to my experience with them. Good customer support, but a bad vacuum design that struggles to pick up anything on hardfloors. The Dreame vacuums are far better for the money due to their advanced features like object avoidance and they have good vacuum performance. Roborock has good vacuum performance but severely lacks in the object avoidance realm. Eufy has good object avoidance but not so great vacuum performance. iRobot and Shark are in a tier below Dreame, Roborock and Eufy.

I love my Dreame L10S. They have higher end models but this was the most I wanted to shell out.

Hey thanks for that mate, were I'm located the Roborock just were not on discount. region locked on amazon, So I ended up just ordering a Dreame l10s ultra, it was such a good price for what looked like a good solid mid range unit that works. I almost went for the l10s pro ultra heat etc, but its a slippery slope, next moment heck a few more hundy and you can get this.... or a few more and this... So the Dreame l10s it is for us :) and it came with a free tri roller as well, Im guessing its worth installing that? thanks for taking the time to reply :)

Absolutely happy with our Dreame L10s Pro Ultra Heat. We‘re using it since June 2024 (almost 370 cycles / total cleaning time of 250 hours) and wouldn‘t want to miss it. Mopping function was an absolute game changer for us.

Getba Dreame in that price range. They are perfectly fine, don't overpay for latest and fanciest features. Simple vac and mop for 500 € is doing the trick. E.g. Ls 10 Ultra

But I think that suction power is more or less the same for l10s Pro and S8. Not sure if it's accurate. Actually Roborock S8 and even S8 Pro would have comparable price in Armenia, and I could stretch a little bit and order Q8 Max+. But I thought that rotating mops would be somewhat better in most situations. Also, I don't have carpets.

I have to disagree. Our L10s Ultra Gen 2 is a carpet champ. It even leaves the nice just-vacuumed tracks. We retired our Dyson cylinder corded because we don't need it anymore. That said, the performance in the video doesn't look good at all.

I cant speak to the others, but we've had that Dreame model since Christmas. We've used it heavily and it's been excellent.

I'm happy with the Gen 2. I'll stick with that until there's a clear tech breakthrough in the upper tier

Just get the top level dreamebot or roborock (same company owns both). Their robots do an excellent job, and the app works really well!

Looks like you’re right, they are technically not both currently owned by xiaomi, but they share a ton of similarities. My coworker has a dreamebot and his app, replacement parts, features are nearly identical to my roborocks.

I have Dreame L10S Ultra also, and I'm really liking it. I ran it once with the original firmware to confirm it's working, and then went with the Valetudo.

I did the exact same about 3 months ago for my dad. I got him dreame l10 ultra gen 2 and not once has he had to save it or get involved. It's been brilliant. I have it on schedule 3 days per week and it works a treat, it vacs and mops and has the dock, so it auto emptys itself so there is 0 effort maintaining it. I'd recommend it. When I visit I just do a quick check and clean the dock area and I knows it's good to go. I have the dreame l20 ultra also for the past year and it's been the same, flawless. I also love that you can share your robot with someone else, so I can keep an eye on things remotely for him.

So I echanged the x10 for an L10s ultra heat which just finished mapping my room, can confirm a better pickup in the salt test and fine sand near the doors from outside. Too soon for other opinions yet but this test was easy and clearly better. (Makes more noise on max suction too.)

The reactive tech in a lot of Roborock's budget models is usually awful, since it lacks an RGB camera. The Qrevo series, which has a similar obstacle avoidance system, consistently scored around 3/10 in our testing between 3 models. The cheapest vacuum with great obstacle avoidance among the ones I've tested is the Dreame L10s Ultra (8.2/10). I see it on Amazon Australia for $599. It's a fully featured flagship from 2022, so the dock has auto empty and mop washing. I wouldn't be able to confirm which one is better in terms of pickup performance, as I have not tested the Q10V+. The L10s Ultra does well on hard floor, but it can struggle on carpet. If you have carpet, I'd recommend getting the tricut brush from Dreame to help agitate the debris out. Dreame sells it for $199Au, but here in Canada it's like 70$ regular price (and our dollar is weaker), so I would only get it as a last resort or on sale. Hope this helps!

I was the tester that did our review of the Eufy S1 Pro, and while it didn't do the best on carpet, it'll still get the job done if you only have hard floors. I know the amount of choice and difference in reviewer's opinions/results can be overwhelming, but it doesn't have to be a super stressful decision. The reality is that robot vacuums are really just meant for day to day maintenance, which a lot of them are good at. When I recommend to friends and family, I usually try and find the best deal at the time of them asking, while avoiding a few specific robots. My most recommended robot to people I know is the Dreame L10s Ultra, just because there's always flash sales where's it at a ridiculously low price that it's a no-brainer, even though it's not our best scoring. Our tests are designed to push robots to their limits with a large amount of debris in a small space. For performance, I'd look more into what debris types the robot struggles with and if that applies to you. For example, the Dreame X50 struggled with finer debris, and I've seen a few people complain about that on this subreddit. If you want, you can let me know your specific needs outside of obstacle avoidance (floor types, ideal budget, app features, etc) and I can find a robot vacuum that I think would be best suited for you! I've tested all three of these, and I would either go with the Qrevo S or the L10s Ultra. I had a lot of issues with pickup, navigation, and the app for the X10 pro omni, and it's not a model I would recommend. I went with Dreame L10s Ultra. It had decent (but not the best) results on vacuumwars, for its price it was good tho. It is supported by Valetudo. Moreover, and it was very important for me, it has its debug port exposed so it is fairly easy to connect the vacuum to a PC for Valetudo flashing. It does not require disassembling the whole vacuum and all warranty seals stay intact. A custom made PCB is required for the easy flashing to work tho but the components were super cheap and I was comfortable with soldering the PCB. Valetudo was really important for me because today's robots are rolling survivalence cameras and there are many articles about camera footage leaking on the internet captured by these robots. I wasn't comfortable letting a camera rolling around the house like that. I have an Iot VPN but I cannot use that for these vacuums with factory firmware because then the app just won't work no matter which wifi my phone uses. The apps always phone home instead of using LAN. Except Valetudo. It can work like that.

Honestly, for ceramic tiles, I'd lean towards the Dreame L10S Ultra from your list. Had a decent run with it myself. It handles tile like a champ and sneaks under low chairs. I've used the Dreame L40s Pro Ultra for a while, and I agree it's a solid choice for what you're seeking, especially with the AceClean dryboard feature. As the poster above mentioned, most of them don't have cameras for object detection. I think bellow 600€ there is only a limited number available. Some ecovac Modells have a camera, I think the t30c “pro" is sometimes available for 599€ in sales and has a camera object detection. And I think only the Dreame l10s ultra heat has camera object detection (and the old l10s ultra). The new l10s ultra gen2 models have not. But then I often read that the camera doesn't always make a better detection. In terms of features I suggest the (dreame) mova p50 ultra, which had much more features as most other models and is available for 579€, the p50 pro ultra has ai camera, too, but is 729€ (which is unbeatable for its features). So mova is a dreame daughter and they often even work in the dreamer App, but they are always packing much more features than the more expensive dreame versions. As the poster above mentioned, most of them don't have cameras for object detection. I think bellow 600€ there is only a limited number available. Some ecovac Modells have a camera, I think the t30c “pro" is sometimes available for 599€ in sales and has a camera object detection. And I think only the Dreame l10s ultra heat has camera object detection (and the old l10s ultra). The new l10s ultra gen2 models have not. But then I often read that the camera doesn't always make a better detection. In terms of features I suggest the (dreame) mova p50 ultra, which had much more features as most other models and is available for 579€, the p50 pro ultra has ai camera, too, but is 729€ (which is unbeatable for its features). So mova is a dreame daughter and they often even work in the dreamer App, but they are always packing much more features than the more expensive dreame versions. The mova e30 is cheap, but has no hot water and hot air drying and no extendable mop and no RGB camera for object avoidance - the same with eufy c20. The dreame l10s ultra has extendable mop and hot air drying and the old version, same as the heat version have ai RGB camera object avoidance, BUT be aware that the new l10s ultra gen2, is cheaper but is missing the camera for obstacle avoidance.

I have the same with the HACS integration which works very well. It can also be reflashed with Valetudo to go completely offline in case they discontinue the cloud service

I have this one as well, but the version without the self emptying deck. I'm always scared of bugs climbing in there and nesting before I get to empty it. This being said, I love it, and it's not even my first Dreame: I've never been able to find a better quality/price deal.

I have a DreameL10 ultra gen 2, bought on sale for €460 euros some months ago. I preferred it to the Dreame X40 (it was 800 and I didn’t seem to justify how more expensive it was, given how much the price goes down in a year). Did I make a mistake? Does it really change SO much compared to the now high end ones? My idea was using this for some years, and hopefully get one for the same price or a bit more expensive in the future, if the technology really advances. Any random thoughts on it? Edit: no kids, no pets, just a lot of cooking

In general, you want a LIDAR combo robot with spinning mop pads from one of the reputable brands: Roborock, Dreame/Mova, or Eufy. Ecovacs/Yeedi would be included in this list, except they haven't been doing as well with their more recent releases. The Dreame L10s Ultra Gen 2 has good reviews, and its predecessor was one of the best robots of the past few years. Be sure to buy it from an authorized vendor with no-hassle returns; if you get a faulty unit, support for most of those brands can be poor. I'd avoid ordering directly from the manufacturer for that reason. Eufy will likely have the best support, but even they mess up occasionally.

That's going to be a tall order. Most robots with mops and automated maintenance start at around $700. I do see that Amazon US has the Eufy Omni C20 with a Prime-exclusive price of $449. Eufy has made robots in the past that have lasted a long time, and their support is better than most of the competition. The C20 has spinning mop pads and an auto-empty bin with mop washing and drying. Hair tangling may be an issue. Navigation is so-so, and obstacle avoidance is poor; it has LIDAR, but without the spinning turret common on most other robots, meaning that the robot has to stop often and spin in place to orient itself and detect obstacles. Another option might be the Dreame L10s Ultra; the first-generation version has an Amazon Prime-exclusive price of $499. It will be quite a bit better than the C20 with navigation and obstacle avoidance, and it's compatible with Dreame's tricut brush for hair removal (though that's sold separately, so an extra cost). Dreame doesn't yet have the track record for longevity that Eufy has, but the L10s Ultra specifically has a good reputation. You could give up automated mop management, meaning that you'd have to swap the mop in and out yourself, fill the water tank yourself, and wash the mop pad in the laundry every so often. Mops like this are also typically not very good. If you can do this, a few more options present themselves. The Roborock Q7 Max+ is $359 on Amazon US right now, and will perform similarly to the L10s in most ways other than mopping. Roborock is another brand that's been doing robots for a while and has a reputation for quality. Another option: the Eufy L60 Hybrid, which is $299 on Amazon US right this moment. (That price has been fluctuating quite a bit lately; it was about $350 at Best Buy a little while ago, but is also $299 there now.) The L60 is commonly recommended as a vacuum-only budget robot; the Hybrid adds a mop. See if one of those looks good to you. Be sure to look for independent reviews on each so you get an idea of each one's strengths and weaknesses. If you're not an Amazon Prime member, you might be able to find prices similar to the Prime-exclusive ones somewhere, or perhaps there are equivalent deals available where you live.

So an unknown brand just came out with a fairly pedestrian robot with stationary-pad mopping, and it has a higher rating than some of the highest-regarded robots on the market? Nope. If you really need mopping on a budget, take a look at the Dreame D10+, Eufy L60 Hybrid, or one of the Roborock Q series robots. For a big improvement in mopping for not much more money, look at the Eufy C20 or Dreame L10s Ultra series. Mova can be good, if they've solved their problem with fragile front wheels. If you don't care about mopping, look at the Eufy L60 SES or SwitchBot K10+.

I have the Dreambot L10s we don't have any tatami so I can't speak to that but I have had literally no complaints.

The Dreame official solution says you can put it in the detergent tank and/or the clean water tank. The list instructions to do both.

I had a midrange roborock s5max for about 4 years. Just upgraded it because I wanted obstacle avoidance and self emptying. I bought a midrange dreame l20 I don't regret it.but the feature i wish I had but wasn't willing to pay for was the extendable corner brush. It wasn't worth $400 to me. It is also so careful with the object avoidance that it won't go into areas that were easily cleaned by my less fancy old robot that i still run sometimes for that reason. It's also very slow but i don't know if that's all object avoidance vacs or if newer higher tier ones are faster. I owned a dreame l10 ultra for a few weeks and returned it because the lack of led lights meant the obstacle avoidance camera couldn't detect in the dark.

This is great! I’m surprised to see the Dreame L10 Ultra takes the top spot for under $400. I bought mine seven months ago and it’s been broken the majority of the time with very little support from the company. Today they agreed to refund, we’ll see if they actually do. I did love it when working so looking for a mop/vac auto empty/cleaning and will definitely use this list. Thanks!

DREAME L10s Pro Ultra Heat We have one dog which is loosing so much hair. There are a tricut main brush for it which cut long hair to prevent some issues with the brush

My Dreame l10s pro ultra auto adjust to room object changes every time it cleans, and can clean between stool legs that are at least 36cm/14.2" apart. I don't think this feature is that advanced nowadays. It can map multiple floors, too, but I haven't tried.

FWIW, my L10s Pro ultra has AI stain identification under Lab, too.

I was happy with it for a few months, until it started acting weird, couldn’t find back to base, would not listen to instructions etc. So, 4 months later (last week), I contacted Amazon and was able to return it for a full refund. Although I wanted the l40 ultra, which is at a great price right now, I got the Dreame l10s Ultra Gen 2 instead, also at a great price. I got to say I’m SUPER happy with how Amazon handled this and that’s also why I got the Dreame from them. Are you looking at these above specifically or anyone else you are considering? I did look at that one and looked really good on paper but it’s above budget priced originally at 9990 but on sale for 7990 SEK, which is the lowest price it’s been at.

I’ve had the Dreame L10S Ultra that I got off there for official eBay $490 for a full year now. Flashed it with Valetudo so it has 0 cloud communication and I absolutely love it. Integrates beautifully with HA, mops, vacuums, and auto-empty bin. Normally I’m the kind of person that always wants to buy the newest, shiniest piece of tech, but I’m really glad I bought this older model. It just works. Also I have 3 cats and it goes great with getting all the little fluff balls.

Hey, I left a small review above. It is still going strong 2x a day. If you care more about size and low profile, while having most of the extras of a LiDAR vacuum I'd recommend it. I think it's on par with the Dreame L10 Ultra. The Dreame has better object avoidance, extra features such as the camera to chase your pet with it, while the C20 is smaller overall, can fit under your couch, has better suction power, and it will go through cables and small socks unfortunately.

I noticed that there are no reviews about this robot anywhere so I decided to write a few lines in case it can be useful to someone. I bought a Dreame L10S Pro Ultra first for 550 euros during Black Friday, but I resisted it because it was sold to me as the "heat" version but it wasn't. I understand that hot water can be of little use but if I pay for a product I expect the one requested to be delivered! So I bought this Mova s20 Pro Ultra which I paid 450 in a flash offer (official cost in Europe 699). The features are: - double rotating silicone brush, PA8300 suction - RGB camera with LED and lidar sensor - Vibrating floor washing system at 4050 vibrations per minute - Self-emptying base, automatic detergent dosing, drying and washing cloths with hot water (60 degrees). I scanned the house, about 110m2 in less than 10 minutes and then once I loaded the water and detergent I did a vacuum cleaning plus washing together. The first thing I noticed is the silence compared to the L10S Pro Ultra! Each suction setting was quieter and I didn't think so given the double brush. The job was completed in about 70 minutes and was very precise and impeccable. Much better than the Dreame that sometimes had not exactly linear cleaning paths. My floor is made of hard tiles with wide joints and it had no problems. Even the washing was perfect although the house is mainly clean and without animals or children. Unlike the Dreame, this Mova can clean the edges but by swinging like other robot models which is very effective but takes much longer. So I don't do it every day but that's fine with me. Unlike the dreame, the settings do not include the options to perform a double wash if it detects dirt or a stain on the floor (but in the end I don't care since, as I said, the house is clean). The rubber brushes can be retracted by about 7 cm but I haven't found anything about it in the settings... maybe something that does it automatically. While the washing cloth can be pulled up by 10.5 cm when it detects carpets (it has an automatic sensor like the dreame). Even in this robot I can remotely access the camera which also has LEDs that turn on automatically in the dark. For the price I paid during the sales, 449 euros, I am extremely satisfied with the purchase especially for the precision in cleaning the house and the double brush suction power, as well as washing the floor. The noise is also a plus. Last note of concern, the battery recharged more slowly than the dreame, but it lasted much longer. Cleaning with washing the dreame brought the battery to about 65% while with this mova 75%. So excellent I would say! If you have any questions I am available! I have a Dreame L10S Ultra. the only other robovac that I had was an old eufy that didn't have a base. I really like the Dreame. it mops and vacs, but doesn't mop super well. it's good enough to keep it looking nice but I definitely need to manually mop like once a month or something

I bought a L10S Ultra last month for my wife. Works infinitely better than the old Roomba with just a bump sensor. I flashed Valetudo on it because IoT vendors are incompetent when it comes to security and I don't need any IoT device talking to the internet. I have mostly hard floor with a few area rugs. It vacuums and mops well, doesn't get stuck on dumb shit like the old one, and is significantly quieter and well. I have mine hooked into home assistant so I can automate cleaning when we're not home in addition to running on schedule. I don't have anything negative to say about it after about 45 days of ownership

Someone else recommended me the Dreame L10S Pro Ultra Heat (yeah I know the name is a headache), so I’m going to do the same for you. It’s $549 on Amazon atm. It’s basically an upgraded L10S and is practically identical to L20 in features except it is in white and much cheaper. I was thiiiiss close to picking Roborock but I ended up going with Dreame for the simple reason that it scores much higher in object avoidance than roborock. There is a website called vacuum wars that ranks robo vacuums. Qrevo had pretty mediocre scores for object avoidance for their low to mid entry models and only did well on their more expensive models. Dreame scored high even on their L10S which is three generations old at this point. Anyways good luck! I’m sure I just made your decision even harder.

I got the l10s ultra gen 2 after i returned the x40. Mopping is the exact same with the mop extend function, hot mop wash did not make any difference imo. The extending side brush isnt perfect either i was pretty dissappointed since it kept missing some corners. Obstacle avoidance is much better on the l10s ultra gen2 in my case, the x40 kepet getting confused and lost, also the cleaning duration was much longer.

From what I’ve heard the mopping is more or less useless on the l60 whereas the dreame having the dual rotation mops would perform great if it’s anything like the other dreame’s. You could also buy the dreame tricut brush from AliExpress if the hair cutting tool that the l60 has is something you want.

Costco had it for 329,99 for like 3-4 days (last week). I would say wait for black friday if you are not in a hurry, I don't think it's worth 400. Also, dreame bots run full mode on reddit, that's why you see it being suggested so much. It's actually quite mediocre.

Nice, fyi I got like no update emails from them and then my order arrived from dpd on the Tuesday (I also ordered on a Sunday). Enjoy it’s a good wee machine but the app takes a while to figure out. Wouldn’t recommend the mop&vac mode which is the default one, I’d do vac first then mop. Also when it does its mapping at the start move anything off the floor that isn’t permanent, mapping only takes 10 mins

It’s one of the cleaning modes, it’s either vac, mop, vac and mop simultaneously, or vac first then come back and mop. Idk I just found it did a better job when it vacuumed first and then went back and mopped, plus even though it can lift its mops pads, it means the mop pads stay dry initially so no carpets can get wet

Not sure think the bags have to be Dreame ones. No I haven’t tried other cleaning solution but it only applies that when it’s cleaning the mop pads at base, it’s not actually rubbed into your floor I believe

My Dreame L10S Ultra has only ever eaten black USB cords on dark carpets, which I think is reasonable as the only obstacle to cause it struggles. It's old though, there are newer models that I can't speak to. Check Valetudo compatibility list before buying, as it won't work for all of them (to my dismay, when I bought an L10 Ultra without the S by mistake)

Sorry to say, but I’d steer clear of both if you want your parents to have a robot that is problem-free and hands-off. My first robot, found at a thrift store, is a Shark RV2001. We call it “Jaws” and overall, for a low tier robot vacmop, it does a good job. However, it needs constant attention and is pretty “dumb”. The Matrix is marginally better at mapping because of its lidar, but object avoidance is still mostly nonexistent for anything shorter than the robot. My recommendation: I recently upgraded to a factory refurbished Dreame L10S Ultra for $300 on eBay. Its features are on par with the Eufy X10 and Roborock QRevo S and I adore it. You should check out some videos about the Dreame L series. Truly remarkable machines. As others have suggested, consider returning these and getting something that will truly serve your parents.

From my experience. Roborock Q8 very good for the price, S7 Maxv little better than S8, both great, Dreame L10S Pro as great. The newer more expensive stuff is even little better like X40 Ultra, but it has the docks.. Electrolux i9.2 had suprisingly good obstacle avoidance, could even avoid small cables, but god did that robot suck in anything else.

Xiaomi X10+ / Dreame L10Ultra is great, it has everything. Dreame L10 Prime is probably the cheapest I have used, less features and for mopping it was OK. Roborock revos are great but usually costly. Roidmi Eva was pretty dumb robot avoid that.

Owned one for a few months now and it's absolutely value for money given it's features vs price right now compared to most other bots on the market.

I know it’s not on the original list, but I bought the Dreame L10s Ultra Gen 2 for £400 and it is amazing considering the price I paid. It may not have the advanced features of the L40/X40 like extending brush, mop detach, better obstacle detection, cleaning detection etc but for me it vacuums well, mops well, and the object detection is pretty good. Overall, I am pleased with my purchase and feel I have got a lot of features for my money.

Personally, I think the X40 is a better deal, but I've had good luck with the Dreame refurbs from the eBay official store. Just keep in mind, they usually come in a beat up box and the units are not always thoroughly cleaned either. One of my l10s models came with a smelly dirty water tank because whomever returned it, didn't bother to get all the water out.

My x50 is great!! 😊 best robot vac I’ve ever invested in. Owner for a 4 months but it’s suction and mopping ability really help maintain home cleanliness and we love all the app featrues. I still use a cord less z20 when I need to do more deep carpet cleaning. Also places the bot can’t go I do need to grab my z20 to do places that robot just can’t go. Upgraded from a L10sgen2 which was great for about 4yrs. We almost bought the x40 ultra but really wanted that extra suction and dual detangle brush.

The firmware doesn’t change in terms of features. The cloud gets replaced by valetudo locally. You can also get one and never hook it up to WiFi. I operated my dreams L10s for about two months by just pressing buttons before I rooted it.

No clue. Never used the first party app. I bought it, operated it without WiFi using the buttons for a while, the rooted it and connected it. This is the suggested way. No initial WiFi prevents enforced updates potentially closing the rooting option.

Yeah, according to those test I’ve seen. But you guys seems to have more alternatives, NARWAL is not an alternative here and eufy isnt something you link as a strong brand, more like a cheap alternative. But with that said, I havnt seen test of those 2 and can’t say if they are good or bad. Real reviews on youtube is the way to go to make sure.

I was in the same boat, but with Black Friday sales both the roborock qrevo (refurbished)and dreame l10s ultra (new) are available for $359. For that price it’s hard to justify spending 2-3x as much for a few extra features which don’t seem to make a huge difference in the actual functionality of the product. I bought a l10s ultra and hope to not think about it again for at least a couple years.

For crevices, you need a robot with a bristle main brush. Dreame L series and Mova usually use rubber brushes, which, according to reviewers on YT, don't pick up dust in crevices well unlike bristle ones. Some Roborock model like Q5 Pro, Q8 Max, Qrevo S, and QV35A/S also uses a similar brush. I think if you don't mind with prices, E28 or E25 is a good candidate because its roller mop is superior. Roborock also has a new lineup called S5A which is the cheaper version of Qrevo Edge. Now it's $899 on Amazon. S5A uses a similar Duo Divide split brush as in Qrevo Edge and Eufy E28, a self-empty station, and obstacle avoidance but only using structured light without a live camera.

I just got the same one but I found it so frustrating that most of the big review videos didn't include it.. apparently the heat version isn't available in the US. Which makes sense why the reviews were limited. I absolutely love it though.

The L10S ultra is around $400 on sale I believe and you can get a auto hookup I believe.

I was debating similarly when replacing my 5 year-old i7 Roomba and ultimately thought that with all the bells and whistles on the $1000+ models, there might be more likelihood of things breaking down/having to replace parts. I went with a Dreame L10s Pro Ultra Heat, despite some nerves about their warranty reputation and all the bells and whistles (which I'm still exploring), purchasing on Amazon on sale for $599 (inclusive of a Tri-Cut Brush) and also bought a 3-year warranty from Asurion for an extra $65. So, all-in with 4 years of warranty (the Asurion kicks in after the Dreame 1-year) was under $675, which I thought was a solid deal. So far, I've been very impressed with this thing - my, has the tech advanced since I bought my Roomba! - and all the functionality of it. I have very dark floors and 2 cats, so litter, dust, hair, and other debris is VERY noticeable...I run the vacuum once each day an mop every few days, and cannot believe the difference. I do wish it did better on my area rugs, but tbh its still quite good; won't replace my weekly dyson sweeps, but noticeably better than the old Roomba. The higher-end models I was considering include the Narwal Freo Z Ultra (now $1099 on Amazon, I saw the other day), the Dreame X40 Ultra, and the Roborock Master. Ultimately, I am still monitoring prices as I am still within my 30-day return window with Amazon, but suspect I'll stick with the L10s Pro Ultra heat unless prices on these 3 really drop. I had a L10s Pro Heat and really liked it, but the price dropped a few weeks after purchase and I didn't find the edge mopping as advertised, so I sent it back to Amazon and got the L40 Ultra a few days ago. I don't think I would have sent the Heat back if the price hadn't dropped $150 two weeks after I bought it and the L40 hadn't dropped $200, but I am finding the L40 does a great job: it is quieter than the Heat, is vacuuming extremely well - like the Heat, and mopping incredibly well, and the extras over the Heat (dropping the mop pads, better object avoidance, swing out brush) are great. So, definitely happy with the swap and am not having any of the issues the OP is reporting. The only two things I am noticing that I do not like are 1) the mop/mop tray cleaning is loud (the rubber-on-plastic squeaking is noticeable, for sure) and 2) when on carpet, there's a rattling sound. I'm hopeful #2 is nothing serious. Otherwise, loving this bot so far.

I'm using the Dreame L10s Pro Ultra since a few months and found it to be really good for both vacuuming and mopping. It's currently for 60k on amazon. Just FYI, be careful while buying robot vacuums from amazon as there are a lot of scam sellers which never send the product. Only buy from official accounts.

It can also clog he internal water tank / pump of the vacuum. Happened to my l10s ultra. Had to open it up and remove the residue. I used a non approved cleaning solution though 🙃

I've got two cats and me with long thick hair that falls everywhere and I've had no problems with the Dreame L10s ultra gen 2. I bought the roller that cuts hair but I haven't even installed it yet! Waiting for the original roller to "wear out". Had the unit about 6 months.

We have the Dreame l10s ultra gen 2 and I'm pretty happy with it. I wish it had the warm water mop pad wash and that it left the mop pads at the dock when it vacuums carpets features, but in reality we've only got 3 mats and the rest of the floors are tile or clip lock wood. I didn't feel it was worth paying twice the price to upgrade the model. I bought a lot of extra mop pads and change them at least twice a week.

L10 can clean 20m2 in 19 mins in real world use, L20 with more technical cleaning pushed that up to 29 mins, The L40 with the best cleaning and mop extras etc is 36 mins. The x40..... Same setup as the other 3.....47minutes and it doesn't to as good a job as the L10v2..... I'm just giving honest reviewing! I was very surprised the L40 smashed the x40!

Thanks for your reply generally I've been really happy with the L1 so far but it's only a few days in so interested to see how it holds up overtime. We have a dog so I was wondering whether the double rollers would help with with that and I've also noticed that the robot doesn't always seem to get as close to the edges of the walls as I was hoping I guess in all of the YouTube videos they are big long rooms with no obstacles along the edge whereas in reality most people have shorter sections of wall with no obstacle and then a piece of furniture or something so real world isn't quite the same as YouTube.

I just bought the Dreame L10s Pro Ultra Heat, and it has a ton of overlap with the features of the L20 ultra. It doesn’t have the headlights for going in the dark, but it does have heated water for the mopping which the L20 doesn’t. It’s also white instead of black, and the dock looks sleeker than the L20 dock. $549 on Amazon for Black Friday this week. Works great so far!

I'd suggest the dreame L10s ultra. I bought a refurb back in august from dreame's eBay store. It was brandnew (or looked that way). Zero issues. two year replacement warranty from squartrade. in the top 20 on vacuumwar's best robots. Can't beat $300 for an $800 robot. I highly recommend.

I’m full compliant with you. I own X40 from its launch and never a problem. Surely I can compare it with other bot. Tested Heat, L40, Narwal Freo X Ultra, Narwal Freo Z Ultra and Roborock slim. X40 it’s the more smart and has the most innovative features. It’s a robot that doesn’t give thoughts. It works and works always. A little more pressure in washing ant it will raise the perfection. But I’m sure that at the CES next week, we’ll have this upgrade 😉

I bought the Dreame L10s plus with 7000pa and then the Dreame L10s ultra with 5300Pa… there is a huge difference in the suction power. The 7000pa was cleaning much better. So yes there is a difference in my own experience

I’m also very confused. First I bought the Dreame L10s plus but after one week the robot was making very loud odd noise so I got my money back. Then I bought the Dreame L10s ultra, but that one has an issue with the water not getting into the robot. So the floor didn’t get wet. I got the money back for that one too. Now I don’t know which one to buy. For me I also looking for a robot that are good mobbing. I’m looking for: Not less than 5/6000 Pa Internal Water tank in the robot is very important for me And with mop-pad-wash and cleaning I’m looking at Dreame L10s ultra, Roborock Qrevo S or Xiaomi X20 pro/max - but not decided yet 🙃

The first one I bought was Dreame L10s plus. Without mop wash but 7000Pa for about 500 euro. (Got a error and I returned it) Then I bought the L10s ultra with mop wash, but with 5300Pa for the same price. But now the plus is on sale for 350 euro (I’m form Denmark) The plus model does vacuum better with the 7000Pa in my opinion. The mopping is almost the same in my experience. (The ultra got an error so I returned that to. i haven’t bought a new one yet 😅, because I’m confused which one to buy now) So it also matter off sale and price in you’re country, and there are so many models to choose from. Well the only real way to manage such cat fur is with a real vacuum like a miele or Sebo. My Miele compactifies months of kitty crumbs & fur like a champ (no cotton candy fur effect here). I use a dreame l10s ultra as my robot. I don't rely on the robot doing deep carpet cleans as I real vacuum about once a week but the dreame has been excellent with kitty floor and my long thick hair (with the dreame cutting brush). The q revo curv is the best robot money can buy right now so ofc that's the best recommendation. I like the dreame better for tighter margins and being more intrepid about mopping next to rugs. Get the dreame x40 master if you can afford it and do the water hookup as the water hookup is one of the final frontiers for a hands free robot. The dreame l10s ultra is sufficient and can empty its bin regularly to deal with kitty floof, but running it everyday should avoid any bin clogs. I would say the dreame l10s pro ultra is worth getting for hot water and water dirtiness sensor (advanced new mopping features). If you want the most advanced vacuum features get the roborock q revo curv. Checkout vacuumwars for feature comparisons and checkout RTINGS for some more grounded opinions. Overall stick with dreame and Roborock. They're repairable with great customer service and parts availability. Yeah there are for sure a lot of models and features to keep up with for these robots, especially considering a flagship model last year was $1800 with worse features than a basic $350 model today. Vacuums wars certainly gives every match the best review but it seemingly forgets ownership so I take his reviews with a grain of salt. RTINGS seems to have an opposite issue but I still value their objective measurements. Overall id say stick with roborock or dreame. Roborock has the nicest app and experience, while dreame (imo) is the best for mopping despite its app being a little tacky and poorly translated. At that price point I'd try and go for the roborock q revo pro. It has advanced mopping features like hot water & turbidity sensor and the mop leggy but doesn't have expensive features like a lifting main brush or camera obstacle avoidance. The other great option is the dreame l10s ultra pro. It also has hot water, turbidity sensor, and a mop leggy, but also has a camera avoidance system, which is... Okay in my experience. Not as good as the more expensive robots. If you don't need advanced obstacle avoidance or advanced vacuum features (leaving mops behind, dual roller, lifting roller) then I'd get one of those two. I personally own a dreame l10s ultra (and trialed it against a roborock q revo, which didn't work as well in my mopping situations). There are other minor differences between the two but they're able to be overcome. Dreame also has an excellent hair cutting roller brush available for their cheaper robots. Both brands sell their 1st part accessories on AliExpress for far cheaper than Amazon. Good luck & enjoy.

So I bought a q revo and dreame l10s and compared them directly and ended up keeping the l10s because it seems to do a better job of mopping (and is willing to mop in skinnier areas of my hard floor around rugs). I don't mind the worse app with dreame, it's completely usable and reliable, just with weird translations. I genuinely like the roborock carpets first feature but I don't miss it with scheduling. If you can afford the l40 ultra, that's what I would buy for the best features (hot water mop washing, self cleaning washboard, water turbidity sensor, mop extend & lifting brush, hair cutting roller). How much more expensive are the premier q revo models in your area (the master, slim, edge, curv)? If theyre the same price (or you can afford the slight increase) I'd get those for the best of both worlds: premier features and the superior roborock app.

Any of the rotary mop roborocks or any dreame. I guess dreame bc roborock q revos don't have soap containers. The newest roborocks can mop with warm water, which is insanely good. And they wash the mops with water hotter than tap, which is also amazing. It depends how badly you want the low profile of the retractable lidar? I really love the warm water mopping of the q revo curvx but I think I'd still go with the dreame x50. The dreame l10s pro ultra is also great for its price and adds some warm water and water testing. It sounds like you really care about handling the gray water so no matter which you'll get you'll want to plumb them in. The price of the dreame x40 master I think is amazing for being a plumbot ($900) but it's missing some of the newest features, tho not super lacking.

A little non-existent, but hit the Bissell crosswave hydro steam does exist. And being Bissell, reputable, it's the only floor washer vacuum I'd buy. If your messes are mostly dry with minor splashes and puddles then I think a robot would be the best for hands offness while maintaining general cleanliness but you'd need to do deeper cleans every month or something. The $300 price point is a little difficult tho because that robot is great (Dreame l10s ultra) but there are quite a few tradeoffs that make it worse than the absolute value winner the Mova p10 ultra (for $500). If you already have a vacuum/mop that you like then I think a robot for multi daily sweeping and mopping is the best option. Mine sweeps 3 times a day and mops daily. While doing a deep mopping twice a week. I also ask it to clean my kitchen when I'm almost done cooking (like when something's on the final simmer). Between scheduling the robot around meal/bathtime and asking it to do specific routines, these robot vac mops are pretty amazing. Only get one of the xiaomi family of brands (roborock, dreame, Mova).

3" fibers but a little flat. All my robots this far have gotten bogged down on it. Roborock qrevo and dreame l10s at least made it off 🤷🏾‍♂️ I think the adaptilift robots may work for it.

Yeah with people making retail purchases like a robot vacuum, I would advise buying 2, trialing them, and returning one. It's a huge purchase so it should be perfect 🤷🏾‍♂️ If they have the credit/capital to do that ofc. I did that for the original q revo vs my dreame l10s. I didn't think the roborock commanded that $100 price difference at the time (for me).

I only have low pile carpets and I haven't had a problem with it. The only minor issue is that I needed to create a custom "room" for one carpet as it was placed diagonally to the map. Also when mopping between rooms there's going to be some overlap on the edges and mops the carpet, to prevent this you can place a virtual wall leaving just a small opening and then it will make the robot respect the edge.

If you have carpets that are diagonal to the map or awkwardly shaped you need to create a custom room using the divide map to match the shape of the carpets you have. The current dreame app only supports rectangular carpets.

I don’t understand what is compelling you (& others) to disagree here. Dreame devices and rotating mop heads apply only enough pressure to really wipe something down (not scrub), the warranty is voided if you use cleaner in them, and they in no way disinfect or disappear bacteria. like I’m glad your floors look sparkling, mine do, too (the L10s second gen, the one I chose, has upgraded features and a stronger motor compared to the L20…that is, before it gave up on doing anything) but they are not actually clean lol

Picked up the Dreame l10s ultra gen 2 on sale two weeks back for £320 on amazon, if your willing to spend a little more it also mops, so far its been amazing, very likely it could go around that again.

The L10s ultra g2 is good and should meet all your needs. Be aware the reason these are being discounted is because newer models with roller mops are coming out soon so all the rotating mop versions are being phased out. Still the l10s has decent mopping. The obvious caveat is that one can never really tell unless you try it out yourself. All these robo vacuums have positives and weaknesses and one can’t say if it would be right for your home unless you actually try it. So I would suggest buying it from a place that has easy returns and try it for 2/3 weeks and see if it works for you.

I just got mine and it’s amazing. The only thing that would be nice is the swing arm to get some better edge cleaning instead of it doing the little turn. Its mops don’t lift up high enough on medium length carpet but that seems to be fixed on newer ones.

We started with a cheap Eufy. Vacuum only. Very little intelligence. Was always blown away at how much fine dust it picked up. Would brag about it when people laughed. Just last week upgraded to a Dreame 10LS Mop/vac. Bloody awesome. 3 level house fully mapped with no go areas like our walk in shower. We have area rugs throught our hard wood floors and this thing does not skip a beat.

If I could choose I'd go with the Eufy pro Omni, but at home I've got the Dreame l10s ultra which is great, but not the best.

If you ca if you care about value for money by far l10s . The roborock master which I own , is bolstered by s8 maxi reviews . It’s a really bad bot. And if you have a noisy house or any cords it will eat it. It does not have object avoidance even though there s a camera

well i had actually originally purchased the L10 but then refunded it and got the roborock because i saw online that it was better at vacuuming and mopping. i know its worse at obstacle avoidance but im a pretty tidy guy i just like to keep my windows open which tends to collect dust inside so i figured the roborock may be better. i am also taking my robot with me abroad where i study and ive seen (all though very few) some instances where people had their dreame break down on them within a month and require maintenance. i study in a country with no real mailing services and no service centers for any of the mentioned companies so my thought process was to get the “most” reliable brand.

I already picked up two of the Dreame L10s Pro Ultra, one for myself one as a gift. A lot of choices out there and I bounced back and forth before pulling the trigger on this version. Hopefully it's a good option.

I have a Dreame L10 Pro Ultra Heat, and it's really good ! The integration in HA is flawless, and it cleans well. I've picked it up for just under 700 swiss francs

Identify the features you want and go from there. Let the features drive the realistic price. For me that was Lidar, self-empty, mopping pads that spin and not just dragged behind. Those features ended up with me getting a Dreame L10s for around $700
