Dreame - L10s Ultra Series

TL;DR: Good value, strong cleaning, but frequent breakdowns and poor support.

"it's either ant infested disaster or 96% clean floors with the occasional stain or smudge or crumb in the corner. I'll always choose the second. ... Professional cleaners where I live charge $180+ tip for my 1200 sqft house so a robot mop pays for itself within a few uses."

"In the US, Dreame has the L10s Ultra on sale for $299, which is a crazy good price for what you get."

"€379 is a good price ... €379 would have me seriously interested again because... - that's a great price for that machine"

"my robovac has kept my floors immaculate."

"All of these robots are compatible with the dreame anti-tangle TriCut brush which works great with my long haired corgi’s fur and long hair in my home."

"he does a better job of vaccumming and mopping our floors than our fortnightly human cleaner."

"Auto empty station with mop washing and drying. ... Auto Mop Washing and Auto Empty base station. ... This is the one. And its not close."

"Auto mop washing, drying, and dustbin emptying ... Ideal if you want *hands-free cleaning* with smart features."

"even though it can lift its mops pads, it means the mop pads stay dry initially so no carpets can get wet"

"It also caught an iPhone cable that my son left on the floor, got totally wrapped up but when I pulled on one end it just came right out, didn’t tangle at all."

"When it's cleaning it sends me pics of any obstacles, and if I dropped something that went under the furniture, it finds it for me, lol."

"3 level house fully mapped with no go areas like our walk in shower."

"Hate tangled hair in the brush? Look for TriCut or rubber dual-brush designs (L10s Gen 2, X50, L20). ... It also has the TriCut roller, which is better for hair pickup (especially if you’ve got pets). ... The TriCut does a great job on hair and keeps the roller cleaner longer"

"The rubber/silicone main sweep doesn’t get long hair wrapped up around it like the bristled ones and I’ve only had to clean it once so far in two weeks, versus every other day with the other models I’ve had."

"it’s been broken the majority of the time"

"I had it for about 2 month. Every time I started the robot it left big stains of water. ... everything from dreame does work for two or three month or so. It is a joke."

"Currently trying to get it fixed but Dreame is taking ages and keep asking me to send pictures. ... The crazy thing is that I’m still under warranty and they will not care. ... Worst customer service, I suggest staying away from these models or from Dreame at all.."

"I had a Dreame L10s but it broke and I’m still waiting for a repair although I will later ask for a refund.. (Amazon forcing me to get it repaired and then I will be able to get a refund🤔)"

"abandon robots VERY early after release"

"my new l10s pro heat takes its grand old time driving around in circles. ... “a bit” is a stretch. it takes about 3x as long and the pathing is almost non existent. ... the dreame was mapping off little sections, driving in constant circles, and not going in straight lines."

"runs over cords and gets stuck"

"50% of times get stuck in one specific door matt and does not auto-recognise it as non-mop zone."

"It also was not mopping correct. There was always a dry line between the two mops."

"the L10s sometimes misses bits along the very edges. ... I've also noticed that the robot doesn't always seem to get as close to the edges of the walls as I was hoping I guess in all of the YouTube videos they are big long rooms with no obstacles along the edge whereas in reality most people have shorter sections of wall with no obstacle and then a piece of furniture or something so real world isn't quite the same as YouTube."

"If your home has lots of obstacles and shorter wall runs, you’ll still see some misses."

"The app is a little janky ... a bit frustrating to set-up different zones"

"Ben minder fan van de app (niet buggy maar wel ff uitzoeken hoe het werkt + ietwat slechte vertaling)."

"the app takes a while to figure out."

I Got the dreame L10s Ultra Gen 2 and I'm very happy with it. I bought one 7 years ago, and back then, the technology sucked. Nowadays, however, the technology is ready, and robot vaccums from mid range and up work very well.

I have not used my vaccum since I bought my l10S gen2 a month ago. So far it seems it does an exceptionally god job

The max has serious issues with the cleaning station, which include a fragile dirty water pump and an unreliable water temperature sensor, also, the pro doesn’t have an internal water container and therefore has to return to its station to wet its mop pads. I believe a much better option would be the dreame l10s ultra gen 2

Bang for buck - mova p10 ultra Money is no object/I want the best - roborock Sara's 10r or dreame x50 ultra Budget/cheapest option changes alot based on sales. Just the other week I bought a refurbished L10s ultra for $240 Honorable mention - the new eufy e28 can be had for $800. I think its worth considering because the roller mop system they have going seems to do really good for mopping in general.

It was fine but I returned it for 2 reasons 1) not great in corners (as expected) 2) if I forgot to pick up a wire, this thing was gonna send me an alert while I was at work telling me " mop pad came off" The L40 was on sale this week so I upgraded.

We have a L10s Ultra and after 3 years it doesn't mop properly anymore. There does not come enough water out of the vacuum. It mops dry. We took it to our local dealer and they looked into it and couldn't fix the problem. Would not recommend it. Such an expansive tool should work longer.

We are really enjoying our Dreame L10s Ultra Gen2. Bought it in the sale. My girlfriend was sceptical and called me crazy for buying it but since we have it it is running through our house every other day. We almost havent touched our normal vacuum since it arrived. It mop and, it cleans itself. The only thing you have to do is refill the water tank, remove the dirty water (and the water gets dirty) and replace the dirt bag in the station once every while.

We have the draeme. It’s great, we don’t use the schedule as there too much chance of it eating a toy. However, it really encourages the kids (6 and 5) to pick up their stuff. Only downside is that it doesn’t replace a proper hoover, but we have a cleaner anyway so it helps for the gaps between the cleaner coming

L10 ultra owner here, well I got rid of it, in 1 year it started falling apart. Was unable get water from the dock, then eventually vacuum stopped, went back to Roborock. They are also not super durable but way better than dreame, not touching dreame again.

I read this stuff and wonder to myself did I get the only properly functioning robot but then I remember I have 2 and both of them function just fine. L20 Ultra and L10S. Is it just people with no issues say nothing? Are people not doing regular maintenance? I am not doubting anything said here but am genuinely confused as to how there can be so many issues.

I just got the dreame L10 pro ultra, upgraded from a roomba i3 after getting so annoyed at it getting stuck all the time. I’ve got 2 cats, a dog, and a rabbit. I’ve never seen the floors so clean. You can literally feel the difference in bare feet. Not sure how the higher end models compare but my god this thing is awesome.
