Yeah, more expensive ones might be better, but that doesn’t mean we all need to spend so much. I got my ecovacs t30s for around 500 bucks, and I use it to vacuum my rugs and mop the hardwood floors. I just do a few things after using it, like refilling the water tank, changing the dust bag every month or two.
r/RobotVacuums • First time buying a robot vacuum, recommendations needed ->I have one. Its pointless. Ended up buying an expensive T30S Combo for a good deal on black friday.
r/RobotVacuums • Hi everyone, I wanted to get my sister a robot vacuum. Amazon has a lot of sales going on. Wondering if anyone has favorite brands OR brands to stay away from? ->It’s great so far! Suction is amazing
r/RobotVacuums • Hi everyone, I wanted to get my sister a robot vacuum. Amazon has a lot of sales going on. Wondering if anyone has favorite brands OR brands to stay away from? ->I have a Golden Retriever, and we use the Ecovacs T30s at home. It handles dog hair really well, and we barely ever have to deal with tangled hair in the brush because of the great anti-tangle feature. Plus it vacuums and mops, super convenient.
r/RobotVacuums • Dog Hair Vacuum for Wood Floors ->That's exactly why I was highly debating on getting this. But opted for the deebot t30 s combo .. due to the bonus of the attached handheld device for furniture and potential to attach a refill plumb kit.. less wires when cleaning fur and fluff from the seats and if I can locate the plumbing kit, it'll make it easier to refill/empty touch free .. less stentch and soiled water.. easier to deal with given wheelchair needs to MS.
r/RobotVacuums • New Findings on Pet Hair and Carpet Cleaning with Robot Vacuums: Surprising Trends in the Latest Models ->It’s mostly hardwood in my place, but about 60% of the floor is covered with rugs. I’m using a deebot t30s to handle the cleaning, and I hardly have issues with the dustbin getting stuck. In fact, I haven’t really needed to clean the dustbin inside the robot much; I mostly just change the dust bag at the dock.
r/RobotVacuums • Looking for a robot vacuum/mop that is excellent on carpet. ->I have an ecovacs t30s pro and is great at avoidance and vacuuming, mopping is decent, I have the eureka j15 pro ultra and is almost to smart at avoidance, I have most ai features turned off and still avoids everything just not as efficient as the ecovacs. I also have the ecovacs n30 pro omni for the basement and for a mid level robots with self empty self cleaning station it is awesome. No cameras or fancy avoidance but does a kick butt job at vacuuming and mopping and still avoids the fake dog crap and toys with no problem. You are going to get great reviews and bad reviews on every model out there. Took me 6 returns to get the ones I have now and only reason I have the eureka j15 pro ultra is they sent me a completely free one because of my negative review but I only updated the review and not change it after their free gift.
r/RobotVacuums • Object avoidance without mop ->I have had the Ecovacs deetbot t30s for a week and I’ve never seen my floors cleaner, I have 2 inside dogs that sometimes bring dirt from outside and one leaves hair and I’m very happy with my choice.
r/RobotVacuums • Can robot vacuums with mopping functions really clean well? ->My ecovac t30s works great, I have 3 dogs all shed, I upgraded from the Roborock V8max
r/RobotVacuums • Dog parents! What vacuum-only robot works GREAT for pet hair? ->Mopping is a step up from the V7, it always looks clean after 1 mopping. I mean it gets the job done in 1 pass, I really like that the rollers never get hairs stuck and it empties itself asap. I recommend YouTube vacuum wars channel
r/RobotVacuums • Dog parents! What vacuum-only robot works GREAT for pet hair? ->After months of you tube videos and review websites I landed on the [ecovacs deebot t30s](https://www.ecovacs.com/us/deebot-robotic-vacuum-cleaner/deebot-t30s) we used to have the Roborock V7 Max but this one has more suction and the brush doesn’t get jammed with hair (there’s 3 long haired people plus 3 dogs that shed in the house) and we like that the vacuum empties itself asap when it’s full. And the mop is better than the robotic, which we sold at a great price, almost got our money back. Value on the T30s is incomparable. We were scared since some reviews said the vacuum kept breaking but thankfully ours has held strong it’s been 4 months of 4-5x a week vacuum + mop (3K sqft tile home)
r/RobotVacuums • Hi everyone, I wanted to get my sister a robot vacuum. Amazon has a lot of sales going on. Wondering if anyone has favorite brands OR brands to stay away from? ->Got the e28 too. Glad with my choice (here I got it for 880€ with a 12% discount). Arrived Sunday. For reference, I had an ecovacs T30, the station was louder when drying the pads. Overall the station is loud just when sucking the dirt out of the robot, for the rest, it's really quiet. Genuinely very quiet even at max compared to my previous vacuums. The main problem is the apps to me. Multiple apps, the one working the best is not the Eufy Clean, but the Eufy security. I couldn't remap things on the first one. But I can't get the matter code on the second one... The standalone machine is cool too. Not very practical since you need to move around with the wire. But it's efficient enough for me. Also integration into home assistant (for those who are interested) isn't yet done for E series. I am gonna try to add it if I get time.
r/RobotVacuums • Think I'm the first Aussie with the Eufy e28....quick review ->I would avoid the ecovacs one. Got the T30 died in less than 3 months. It's the lottery with them. Roborock has been a solid choice for me. Never tried any dreame one so I can't say.
r/RobotVacuums • Need help choosing between 3 robo vac/mops. ->Eufy everyday against ecovacs. T30 was very overpriced for the quality. It's the lottery with their product and customer service. E28 (same as e25) is a breeze compared to the T30.
r/RobotVacuums • Ecovacs X9 Pro Moni, or EUFY E25? ->I owned a Roborock s5 (very old), an ecovacs t30 (which I wild very soon) and now a dreame L40. I would Go with dreame or Roborock because of the software. The ecovacs was the only one that got stuck (3 times a week).
r/Dreame_Tech • Our first robot vacuum: Roborock Qrevo S or ECOVACS T20 Omni or Dreame L10s Ultra ->I got ecovacs t30 and I am quite happy with it. It's around 500+ with all the features for daily cleaning. No hair tangling issue so far.
r/RobotVacuums • Help! Robot vacuum headache! ->Ecovacs user here. Totally agreed with the zero tangle part. I haven't ran into any hair tangled issues with my Ecovacs T30. It does a good job on keeping my floor clean. I think it could also fit your basic needs, and the price is around €600 on Amazon, pretty reasonable for a solid machine.
r/RobotVacuums • I need advice for a robot vacuum/mop combo. ->My biggest ad is find one with excellent obstacle avoidance. If I have to pick up cords and socks 1st it’s basically useless to me. I had a deebot LiDAR but the avoidance sucked. I had to preclean the room, pick up the curtain make sure no clothes were under the bed and put all my floor outlets on the table 1st. At that point why not just use a stick vacuum
r/homeautomation • Does a Robot Vacuum Make a Difference? ->Not a 'real' review, I'm fairly happy with mine. I do not think it really lifts the mops high enough for carpet though. I have pretty low pile carpet, and it seems to drag the mops. Cleaning wise, with the high suction it does a pretty decent job. I can also compare its cleaning trajectory against my Omni X2, and it seems to have a more even overlap in it's cleaning passes. Omni is down stairs, T30S up. I haven't tried the Omni upstairs to see if it drags the mops. Watching the mop arm swing out is pretty cool, it does a good job on the bathrooms and laundry room. Battery life is okay. If I have it on Normal mode, single pass, it is capable of completing the whole upstairs with about 20% battery life leftover (approximately 1600sq. ft, and mostly carpet). It does take it about 2 hours though. If I have it set to 2 passes and deep clean, It'll probably take it all day, as it'll have to return to dock to recharge after a room and a half. I have thought about switching the robots to the different floors, but I think the high suction of the T30S is more suited to carpet.
r/RobotVacuums • Any "real" reviews of the ECOVACS DEEBOT T30S? ->Honestly, ecovacs isn't that bad. I've got hardwood floors and carpets at home, and I use t30s pro. The suction is plenty strong. For mopping, we do a deep clean twice a week, vacuum first, then mop. As long as the stains aren't too tough, it does a pretty good job:)
r/RobotVacuums • Looking to buy my first robot vacuum and I am completely overwhelmed ->Last year, I got a Golden Retriever to my home, and I also got an Ecovacs T30 robot vacuum. I set it to run 2-3 times a week to pick up my dog's long hair in my house. After walking the dog, I'll let the robot mop the floor to clean up the paw prints.
r/RobotVacuums • Best Robot Vacuum for German Shepherd Hair ->Our Ecovacs T30s performs well on carpets with a suction power of 11,000Pa. It doesn’t drag the carpet around or avoid it on purpose, and doesn’t bump into walls either.
r/RobotVacuums • Carpet Only Robot Vacuum ->I had a Deebot T30s that I returned. The mapping and object avoidance were not good enough. I don't have carpets so I loved the mopping. I did a deep dive into everything, I was almost ready to drop a grand, then a refurb, then back to the beginning. I picked up the MOVA P10 Pro Ultra from Amazon for $550. It's available on their own site for $600 with coupon. I have only used it for a day and it's awesome. We'll let me preface that. It started out TERRIBLE. It would not add the robot on either my Samsung s24 ultra or pixel 7pro it kept looping then crashing the app. One I added it on my wife's iPhone I was able to use it. I created a support ticket so hopefully that gets fixed in the future. Back to the robot. I unboxed it, set it up, filled the water and detergent, yes it comes with a detergent tank and..... It worked. It did it's job, I know that may sound condescending but it's great when things work as intended. I didn't have to rescue it find missing mop pads etc. It's only been a day but so far I couldn't be more pleased. I have it on the ai cleaning setting, it's remarkably quiet. Any questions I'll be happy to answer. Hopefully this will help someone make a decision. I was living on vacuumwars for a while but I started to get a feeling a lot of the reviews were Ai generated. Like I'm pretty sure these companies use the same software between brands. I saw the Yeedi and Deebot apps got different scores but from the screenshots they look identical. Plus there are no complete scores. I not a vacuum reviewer, I just spent so much time and mental energy I hope to save someone else that same effort.
r/RobotVacuums • After a month of analysis paralysis I found the one... MOVA P10 Pro Ultra ->I've only had it a few days but so far the app works great. Map was so much better setting up than Deebot. And it's works, So far I haven't had to rescue it from being stuck somewhere. That is a killer price. I think you'll be happy with it.
r/RobotVacuums • After a month of analysis paralysis I found the one... MOVA P10 Pro Ultra ->I recently returned the Deebot T30s which is like the sister product to the Yeedi. I was really impressed with the cleaning ability but the app and obstacle avoidance was just too terrible to put up with. I have sliding glass doors and the mapping messes up with them. I spent Hour setting up the map and different zones, specifically for winter to mop the entrance way everyday. Over time it somehow just overwrote and deleted the map and all that work. I'm looking around that same budget and I'm not sure what to get.
r/RobotVacuums • What robot vacuum is everybody looking to buy Black Friday? ->I have same size apartment setup. I LOVE my Ecovac Debot T30S AI. It vacuums & mops beautifully. I had it scheduled 3x a week for the first 2 weeks, now I have it scheduled twice a week. My floors are spotless & area rug in living room nice & clean. It also does a great job on the gel mat that runs the length of my kitchen work area. BEST robot vac-mop I’ve owned. Many higher end model features. Highly recommend it.
r/RobotVacuums • Are Ecovacs robovacs really that bad? ->What's your budget? I'm using the ecovacs t30s to deal with my pets' messes.
r/askSingapore • Recommendation for Robot Vacuum Cleaners please! ->This is why I don't trust Vacuum Wars anymore. There's so much stuff I've experienced with my Ecovacs T30s in a minimal amount of time that should have been picked up in testing. This willful ignorance regarding subbrands and rebrands is the cherry on top. This guy isn't serious about making true reviews.
r/RobotVacuums • [Early Look] MOVA P10 Pro Ultra - The New Value Champion! (Vacuum Wars Preview) ->It's all stuff I can work around but I wouldn't suggest them to my folks, family and friends unless I was directly involved in troubleshooting and analysing some weird behaviors. All in all, I'm decently happy with mine but I know I can bring it back to Costco whenever I want. Without the Costco warranty, I would be hesitant.
r/RobotVacuums • [Early Look] MOVA P10 Pro Ultra - The New Value Champion! (Vacuum Wars Preview) ->I just got my ecovacs T30. It seems to be doing a good job for me in the first few clean runs. I had it vac and mop hardwood kitchen and it worked great. Sometimes I use it just to vacuum the carpet.
r/RobotVacuums • Buying Robot Vacuum in Japan ->I agree. I picked it up during black friday sales, and it's been keeping my little rental house super clean. I usually vacuum first and then mop, I like its suction, it's strong enough to pick up the crazy hair I shed, and I haven't had any issues so far.
r/RobotVacuums • Please help me choose my first Robot Vacuum/Mop ->I've only used t30s so far, I think it's awesome for vacuuming. The suction power is great, and after vacuuming, I use the mopping function, which works pretty well too. Their customer service is really good too, I asked some questions about the features, and they got back to me super quickly.
r/RobotVacuums • Object avoidance without mop ->The Ecovacs Deebot T30s handles both my long hair and my dog’s fur really well. I’ve been using it for about six months now, and I hardly ever have to deal with hair getting tangled up in it. The suction is really strong too, so it cleans up everything effectively. Overall, it’s a super reliable vacuum cleaner that makes life a lot easier.
r/RobotVacuums • Is there a robot vacuum that doesn't make cleaning out long hair from the brushes/bristles a pain? ->purchased and used it for about 2 weeks now. Definitely a really nice purchase. The app and setup was extremely easy and seamless. I have no complaints, it leaves my place literally spotless.
r/RobotVacuums • Any "real" reviews of the ECOVACS DEEBOT T30S? ->Meh, I knew about it and still bought one. I find it more comforting that they have already been hacked, vs the other ones which might still have unknown vulnerabilities. And it has great features and performance for the price.
r/RobotVacuums • It's December! Time to choose the robot vacuum of 2024! ->Oh, you should totally check out T30S, man. I used to sneeze when I came across a lot of dust, so I got it. The super suction does a great job cleaning up the dust. I suggest you use it to clean regularly, it can really help with allergies.
r/RobotVacuums • Best Miele-like option for dust on hardwood floors? ->I had it for a week now and I like it. I think it is basically a T30 pro
r/RobotVacuums • Any insights on Yeedi M12 Pro+? ->I have 2 long hair cats and a long hair dog. I have a ecovacs T30s run daily on a schedule. It vacuums and mops flawlessly for about a week without any intervention. Weekly i fill the clean water tank, empty the dirty water and clean the mop tray and pads. Hair doesn’t tangle in the brush and the cleaning is *almost* as good as my dyson and mopping is BETTER than i do.
r/BuyItForLife • Pet owners, what's the best robot vacuum for TONS OF PET HAIR that's worked really well? ->We have a ecovac t30 and I love it. Just make sure you clean the filter regularly or it will start to clog. The app has some quirks but once I figured it out it’s been running smooth
r/RobotVacuums • Best state of the art Robot vacuum with mop (looking for real-life reviews)? ->While I do not yet own a Yeedi S14 Plus I do own a Yeedi Cube. It's been with me for a over a year now. The brand itself is essentially a sub-brand of Eco-Vac (think Lexus vs Toyota) with Yeedi being the latter. The performance has been great relative to its pricing, the parts still work well and the mop is using a single pad vibration mechanism. This is not as good as my Deebot T30's dual spinning mop pad system but it's enough to remove most winter time salt stains from my tile flooring as well as most other light to medium intensity dirt marks in a single run. IMO one of the things that makes Yeedi good is that it's durable, it's motor and mopping tech is not as competitive as Narwal or Ecovac (on purpose) but out of all the robo vacs I have owned and used it's the only one I have yet to replace a single part for (dust bin just once). People often buy robo vacs based on feats but the really good ones are the ones that last past the 12 months mark once the wear and tear really kicks in. To play the devils advocate however I will say Yeedi's app is very mediocre compared to most other brands though. In 2025 you still cannot select the number of runs per operations for example. No amount of new hardware will fix a bad app sadly. Btw this isn't some paid/affiliated propaganda lol. I have owned a Narwal Freo, Ecovac Deebot T20 and T30, Euxy X8 and the Yeedi Cube (I am a YouTube reviewer so I work with these brands) and I have owned each one for a prolonged period of time and can give you a practical take on it. My fav robo vac to date when taking budget, tech and durability in mind is my now 3 year old Eufy X8 which is old tech but it wins in longevity hands down. Hope this helps! I may review the S14 Plus next month but that's TBD. I will share my unbiased opionion on this thread if it's still open.
r/VacuumCleaners • Any insights on Yeedi S14 PLUS roller mop robot vacuum? ->Good stuff. Please test for threshold crossing ability. Those of us in older homes really need that. Dreame x40 Ultra jumps stuff well enough, I have door mats over the 3/4 to 1" thresholds and it did ok. Not great but ok. All my previous roomba's managed it, the door mats are a direct result of a roomba a few years ago. Dreame stopped picking up the mops so it went home and I bought a Ecovacs T30s Deebot AI, It has a very hard time with thresholds. It gives up quickly and does not map well. For example, first time out, it was unable to leave the kitchen. So it mapped the kitchen and a space outside the kitchen that it could see was called a room. But it was only able to see 30% of the actual room. Sent it to clean that room. It jumped the threshold and cleaned the entire room. It did not update the map as the dreame would each run. Sent out for a remap. Got the center room and failed to get the hallway that did not have a threshold to cross, got 20% of another room it could't get in and didn't place a wall where there was a wall. So that is going home in a week or so when the replacement gets here. So I'm waiting on a Roborock Qrevo Curve. We will see where that goes.
r/RobotVacuums • I Was Wrong About Robot Vacuum Mops and What I'm Doing About It ->I'm on my 3d Premium Mop/Vac since December. I've run Roomba Vacs for years. Roomba is no longer the top dog. They did manage my high thresholds well when I set up door mats across the threshold to make a bridge. They vacuum ok. The self empty is good. Their vac strength and object avoidance is lacking. First premium was a Dreame x40 Ultra. Great machine if it could hold its mops. Worked great for about 4 weeks. It was able to jump thresholds without an issue, it updated the map each run and identified obstacles well. It never got stuck. Never sucked up a sock, pen or tissue. Then it stopped picking up it's mops when heading out to a mop only cycle. Sent it back. Second Pre was an Ecovac T30 Ai. It had a hard time with the thresholds. Did not make it over established ramps that the Roomba's (2 different) and the Dreame made without a problem. This resulted in a bad map. Once the room showed on a map, you could send it to that room and it would jump the threshold 2 out of 3 times. But it had only looked through the door and saw half the room. So it would either mop/vac half the room or get lost when it got to the section it had not mapped. It did not update the maps as it went. So it was not possible to get a 'good' map. It also does not seem to be multi-floor compatible. It went back. If I didn't have high thresholds it would have mapped well and I'd probably be super happy with it. Functionally it was good other than the threshold issue. 3rd and hopefully last is a RoboRock QRevo Curve, same bot as the Edge in a different base. It has been running well for the past couple weeks. Object avoidance is not as good as the Dreame. It has got stuck on a cord 2x and sucked up a small black cloth I use to clean my glasses. Both times stopping and waiting for me to help it. After helping you set it down and press play on the app. It locates and continues where it left off. It does seem to clear pet and human hair from it's brushes. I've run it for a few weeks in a house with a cat and a girl with long hair. I just looked at the brushes last night and they had zero hair in them. Moping could be better. I'm still working on that. I think I need to increase the wetness or wash frequency, it leaves swirls. All that said, I'm probably keeping this one. The gripes are minor and I like it's ability to raise itself over thresholds. It currently is cleaning a room the others could not get in and out of.
r/RobotVacuums • Looking to buy my first robot vacuum and I am completely overwhelmed ->We've had roomba, ecovacs, and Miele in the past. The Ecovacs pro Omni is my favorite. I run Miele scout about once a week for large particles dragged in from the yard. Long hair is no match for this model and it doesn't get stuck everywhere and suck up cords. It has great mapping and AI integration. I highly recommend it and the winbot.
r/homeautomation • Wife says it's time, what's the best robot vacuum? ->hi, I try to advise you based on my experiences and those of the communities. if you want to stay on Ecovacs a good model in my opinion is the t30s pro, X5 has a front lidar system that doesn't convince me much, this combined with the shape makes it a bit clumsy in navigation, also despite the lack of the Lidar turret it is not so thin. Alternatives in the same price range are the eureka J15 pro ultra. if instead you want to go a bit further with the budget of around 1000 euros there is the new mova p50 ultra which is a very complete robot and with excellent performance for the price. All the robots listed have an anti-tangle system for hair, different in operation but give good results. I don't know what nationality you are, but if you are looking for a community about robots there is the Italian community NonSoloRobot™️ where you can find more than 6000 users available for advice and support on all the major brands. Hope it helps https://linktr.ee/NonSoloRobot
r/RobotVacuums • Help Choosing a Robot Vacuum – DEEBOT X5 Pro vs T30 Omni & Best Value Options ->I got to the point that I had to stop reviewing Ecovacs products. They were just subpar and would not fix their horrible app.
r/Roborock • Roborock surprisingly didn’t do well in VacuumWars best vac/mop awards ->It was actually 7 months ago - the T30s. https://youtu.be/wbkEQ03wZEM
r/Roborock • Roborock surprisingly didn’t do well in VacuumWars best vac/mop awards ->we had the ecovacs for a month and it did a really good job cleaning, our floors looked spotless, mostly hardwood with a few carpets. it’s mopping and vacuum suction was impressive there. it didn’t lift high enough for carpet and i felt like our carpet was starting to smell a bit damp. We still felt committed then it got an error that we couldn’t fix and i was worried for the price it would continue to be buggy. We’re now a few weeks into the X10, overall the T30s was doing a better job in our home but X10 is still good just not SPARKLING. It feels like the T30s did the job of a professional cleaning staff that was hired and X10 is doing the job of a teenager who is mostly trying but sometimes distracted. However, X10 is still doing a good enough job and I feel more comfortable with their brand.
r/RobotVacuums • Any "real" reviews of the ECOVACS DEEBOT T30S? ->I had an Ecovacs Deebot N8 Pro with the moping attachment for quite a few years. It vacuumed really well, but didn’t mop well at all so I rarely used that option. But as a vacuum it rocked. It mapped my house so I could select rooms for it to clean, set a timer etc. For Christmas this year I asked for the Ecovacs Deebot T30. It’s pretty freaking amazing. You can set it to just vacuum, or just mop, or it will vacuum and mop at the same time, or vacuum and then mop. It empties the dust bin on its own. It also cleans the mop heads during cleaning. So you can set it to mop for a certain amount of time, and then it will return to the base and clean its own mop heads with hot water, then set out again. The mop heads spin, so they’re actually cleaning and not just getting the floor wet. I’m in Canada, so here it was about $800 CAD. You have to buy the cleaning fluid and extra mop heads separately though. It’s worth every penny.
r/workingmoms • What are the best robot vacuums currently that you've tried and found really effective for daily cleaning? ->I have the Deebot T30 from Ecovacs. It vacuums and mops, empties on its own AND cleans the mop heads during cleaning.
r/workingmoms • What are the best robot vacuums currently that you've tried and found really effective for daily cleaning? ->I would say go with the Ecovacs T50,or T50 pro if you want a longer runtime. I have a T30, its been great but it has only side mop, the new one T50 has both side brush and mop, so definitely better at cleaning edges and corners.
r/RobotVacuums • Help me choose the best robot vacuum & mop for my needs! ->Going for a bit of budget with convenience of a home, base. I was looking at the dreame l10 pro ultra hot water. But have since decided on the deebot t30 combo, which will give me the robo vacuum and a separate vacuum in on simple package. I heard the avoidance system aren't the best... But I think all bot around that budget are probably similar. I do understand that I can buy a separate vacuum with the dreame l10 but I figure I do go all the way with convenience of having the dust suck into the base.
r/RobotVacuums • What robot vacuum is everybody looking to buy Black Friday? ->
