Roborock

One big issue that I haven't seen covered - dustbin *effectiveness.* A HUGE issue on my Q Revo Curv, in a household with dogs, is that the dustbin opening is small - that means that hair and dust has limited room to enter and all just bunches up near that hole, not spreading out throughout the bin. As a result, it gets clogged quickly and 3/4 of the dustbin's volume is wasted. The S8 Pro Ultra I upgraded from had a much wider opening and I never had these issues with it.
If you do compare feature on vacum wars web site You can see which has matter Recommend a robo rock qrevo for auto mation Eco vac t50 pro Omni is $600 n does matter n has mop n vac but I dint like the navigation so went back to robo rock qrevo s5a But robo rock is more $. Bout $850 You get what you pay for
We have a q revo and itâs great
You should look at a Roborock. iRobot has been going down hill for years and is on the verge of bankruptcy and Shark is universally panned as terrible robot vacuums. The three brands to look at are Roborock, Dreame, and Mova. If you aren't worried about price, Roborock Black Friday deals mean you can get one of their two top of the line robots (the Qrevo Curv X or the Saros 10R) for pretty decent deals at $850 and $1,050 respectively. I just got the Curv X and after a day of sending it around the house I really like it. Roborock is considered some of the best customer service so that should be important for you.
Just got the same one too. Mops at 70c and cleans and dries them after so no soggy mop smells. Great bit of kit
I went Roborock as the reliability is meant to be better than Eufy when I done reading into it (Alot of Eufys dying in only 2 years of use) Got a Roborock Qrevo Curv S5X for £450 in black Friday and it's been great. Washes the mops in hot water too which is handy. Routing and collision avoidance is good and it hasn't attempted to throw itself down the stairs. It's normal enemy are cables lying on the floor though which it doesn't recognise then gets confuse4d. Dreame were a close second for me as they're meant to be solid units too.
I have a Roborock QRevo Curv S5X, it does all of that. Our house is 3600 sq ft, 4 humans, one dog, and I have hand-scraped hardwoods. The floors look great every day. Vacuum daily, mop every other dayâŠ
Good question. My one dog is small & doesnât shed. My sister has 4 pugs and it handles her floors (she has same model). Not sure whether the amount of shedding is similar or not.
I have had it since August. The vac can me loud if on the turbo setting, but I rarely use that. Mopping is very quiet. Our bedroom is not near the kitchen/dining/pantry, so it does those at 2am vac then mop (has never woke me up, just have to remember to leave pantry door open before bed). It does my hall/bathroom/bedroom/guest bath/laundry at 10am, then our offices (2) at 5:30pm. Basically it works where we arenât.
I have never had mine fall downstairs, and there is also the ability to set the âno goâ zone there. I will say that I have seen on Reddit that some people got a dud and had to get it replaced, but I (and my sister) have had zero issues and the floors are spotless đ€·đ»ââïž
Qrevo Curv S5X downstairs and Qrevo Edge S5A upstairs. Main difference is the docking station shape/color. Otherwise equivalent.
Same. Got ours in November and the floors are spotless. Complete gamechanger
Agree. Does my hardwood floors and tile floors perfectly, and raises the mops for rugs
Thirding roborock. Love mine. I splurged on the self emptying modelâŠ.totally worth it.
Roborock Qrevo CurvX. Had the Edge S5A for a few weeks I got from Prime day sale, but felt like I shouldâve went with one with better threshold clearance and obstacle avoidance. Also getting 10% off on top of the sale price makes it seem perfect for price and features.
I found the obstacle avoidance on the Qrevo series to be pretty disappointing. Switched to Dreame L40 and have been very happy. They almost never grab a cord.
Why are robot vacuum model names so confusing? Anyway, I bought the Roborock Q Revo L (Australian model I think?) in the last Amazon sale and it's been lovely. The spinning mop heads actually work better than I expected - they obviously won't pick up everything like stubborn stains but they do a 90% job every time. I have the one with the auto emptying dustbin, auto refilling and auto emptying water tanks, auto mop washing, and it's great - probably the best money I've spent all year. It does tend to get pretty dirty though, and the area where it washes and dries the mops tends to get a bit gunky and needs a good scrub pretty much weekly. Disclaimer: I've never owned a robot vacuum before this, so I could just be wowed by the whole thing in general rather than the specifics of this particular model
