We hated the aria and got the pipa aire rx instead. There is an adapter for the stroller, we also have the Cruz and have loved it.

more expensive does nooot mean safer! you can search “(car seat name) safety rating” & find results i personally like a convertible seat & just using bassinet on a stroller or wearing baby in a wrap/carrier because infant seats only last until around age 1. convertible car seats last until they’re in a booster (8yo ish depending on weight & height) here’s a bunch you can look into because there are tons of options out there my favorite infant seats in cheapest to most expensive order all in usd joie rue $169.99 graco snugride snugfit dlx $239.99 graco gomax $249.99 joie mint latch $299.99 top favorite - chicco keyfit max zip cleartex $299.99 uppababy mess v3 $349.99 britax cypress w/ alpine base $379.99 nuna pipa aire rx + relx base $650 for convertible seats i personally don’t like any rotating seat because they all have low rearfacing limits & extended rearfacing is absolutely the safest thing you can do. one of the only things you can control as a parent safety wise. most of these also can be used for a newborn 50lb rearfacing limit ⬇️ graco extend 2 fit 3 in 1 $269.99 graco 4ever extend2fit $379.99 britax one4life $439.99 britax poplar s $399.99 nuna rava next $580 under 50lb rearfacing limit ⬇️ joie saffron si 4 in 1 $249.99 graco 4ever dlx $319.99 chicco one fit max $379.99

We’re in the same position where we have complications and our travel plans got canceled. Also didn’t really have a budget so I just picked what I wanted most in my stroller and wanted something on the smaller/lighter side and went with the nuna triv and pipa aire rx car seat. The stroller seat can be switched out for the car seat, and you can also get the bassinet attachment if you need it. The doona is actually very heavy and really short. I’m 5’2” and I feel like it’d be uncomfortable for anyone taller than me, plus it doesn’t have any storage.

Nuna pipa air rx clips in the seats. I went into Nordstrom and they were all so helpful showing us how things work. I recommend going there or another baby store that exclusively sells strollers/car seats.

We loved our Nuna Pipa Lite RX and will be using it for baby number 2. I think they have now replaced that model with the Aire.

This is so true. My husband and I just did a longish flight for the first time and I was so stressed about flying with the baby in general, I didn’t want to ALSO deal with thinking about the wellbeing of another person in our row. We brought an infant car seat. We have a nuna pippa aire and had no problems fitting it in the seat with room for the other person to recline. My son slept on me for a good portion of the flight but I did transfer him into the car seat eventually for him to continue sleeping so I could get a break. We also brought a small blanket so we could cover the car seat which was clutch. It was like his own slumber pod.
