Acer X45 has OK speakers built in.

I’m in the same boat too. Still rocking a 1080ti, looking to put together a new build later in the year with a 5070ti or maybe a 5080 super if and when they are released. I upgraded to a Predator X45 for exactly those reasons.

I have the Acer version of this monitor - Predator X45. Text isn’t fantastic but it’s nowhere near as bad as the comments above would make out, especially if you sit a reasonable distance away. For gaming it’s incredible.

I’ve recently upgraded from a 34 inch ultrawide - Predator X34P - to a Predator X45. No regrets whatsoever and I also have a relatively small desk space. I can see what people mean about the PPI now I’ve got the monitor, but frankly if you’re sitting at the correct distance you don’t notice it, doubly so in gaming. Now I’ve tried a 45 I don’t think I could go back.

I have a 45’ curved 3440x1440. It’s a great sweet spot and with a 5080 / DLSS etc the visuals are fantastic. It’s an ACER X45 Predator btw.

These monitors will make all look like you are racing through letter box. If you can get your monitor close to your wheel and whant to use singular monitor get Acer Predator X45bmiiphuzx (850eur at megekko now ;) )You will have more vertical fov making you not feel like you ride cabrio ;) and if you can get it 60cm from your eyes pretty decent hFOV thanks to 800r curve I have AOC 45inch 800r Oled monitor, and love it
