Honestly it is. Except for gaming, all other tasks including web browsing are not pleasing. I wouldn’t say it’s horrible like some others but certainly y prefer a smaller monitor I had a corsair xeneon flex and it bothered me a lot (and im the type of guy who can tolerate almost everything, if it just works) fortunately it malfunctioned since day one and the store didn’t have more so I got a 34 inch ultra wide oled 1440p and it is pretty good now
Semi-unrelated but I've been using a Xeneon Flex for about 2 years and I've actually come to appreciate the USB hub directly in front of me. Definitely thought the desk stand would bother me but gaining a hub without the additional cable management is kinda nice.
I currently use the Xeneon Flex and this is one of the few options available at 45" and 21:9. But I'm not a fan of such a pronounced curve so I will have to stick with the Flex for a bit longer.
I used to rock the OG 45" LG alongside the 45" Xeneon Flex on my desk. Sold the LG and bought a 34" QD OLED because I thought 2 45s was too big.... now I miss having a second 45" incredibly badly. You will appreciate the extra height.
45in 21:9 ultrawide with adjustable curve(corsair xeneon flex). 3440x1440. I just bought my wife an lg ultragear one with the same oled panel.
Corsair has one, but it has the downside of being made by corsair.
I feel like my UltraGear (45GR75DC-B) has the perfect curve for its size, it's a 1500R. It's actually a bit less curved than I'd like, but I also don't feel encapsulated by it like I did when I was looking at the more curved models, and it looks better on my desk too. I use it for productivity, media consumption, and gaming, and it seems like the happy medium for all 3 at the 45" size. I looked at the 800R panels, and I actually just can't believe people like it for anything other than gaming.
I’m very happy with this monitor and use it with my Mac Studio, connecting via USB-C. OLED CORSAIR XENEON FLEX 45WQHD240 45-Inch Bendable Gaming Monitor, 3440 x 1440, 240Hz, 0.03ms GtG, HDR with 1000nit Peak Brightness, 1.5M:1 Contrast Ratio
Exactly this for me too! Viewing stl files, docs, xls etc just didn’t have enough height to make the width worthwhile. I ended up with a Corsair Xeneon flex instead. It has its own issues but works reasonably well for my use.
