I just got mine today. My first UW monitor. I got it for productivity 1st, gaming 2nd. The height is the same as a 27" 1440p which this replaced. It has a matte finish panel. PERFORMANCE Colors are very saturated out of the box. Reducing Saturation from 50 to 46 improved color accuracy a lot. Response time was changed to 'high' to prevent color smearing during movement. Ghosting is noticeable. The pixel response is slow enough that images smear a bit more than my previous monitor. It's not horrible but it's noticeable . IPS glow is very minimal. Just a slight amount on the bottom left and right. It's excellent. ERGONOMICS I kind of wish this was a curved panel bc the off-axis luminance falloff on the sides is noticeable. I often shift my body side to side to get a better view of the windows. MATTE FINISH The anti-reflective matte finish does a decent job subduing glare in bright rooms. SOUND The built-in speaker are terrible. It's muffled, lacks treble and bass, and music is extremely distorted. It's usable, but you will want dedicated speakers. SETUP The monitor is installed on a VESA mount. The VESA mount is 75mm, but the plate I have is 100mm which requires using the included standoffs, which aren't long enough. The monitor mount is too recessed and interferes with installing the VESA mount plate. I had to use washers, two for the top screws, and one for the bottom screws so the plate could be mounted without touching the back of the monitor. The included stand is metal, which I haven't set up. FINAL THOUGHTS I don't think I can use split windows mode bc it's too straining to view things at such an off-axis angle, even at a viewing distance of 33". My constant leaning to one side is problematic just so I can get better illuminance and contrast. For the price of $150, it's pretty good. It's better than the HP X27q (2021) that it replaced. It's also a very light weight monitor considering the size. The power supply is a separate module which is large enough that it should be plugged into a power strip and not the wall.

The luminance dims quite a bit on the sides by about 30%. But on the center looking up, it's not that bad so it could work. May want to mount it upside down so the CRUA logo isn't in the middle of the setup.
