In my personal experience with a cheaper electriQ\* 49" 3840x1080 1800R with a "QLED VA" panel, I would probably avoid VA for a simracing monitor. I say this because of VA black smearing. I use headtracking in combination with the monitor, which might mean I notice it more because the car's cockpit (and in car dashboard etc) moves around more on the screen than it would without the headtracking, but anyway I find it quite noticeable. Of course VA tends to be cheaper, so there's a trade-off there. \*I believe the actual panel used is the same as Samsung did in equivalently specified monitors they sold at the time (which will be out of production now, as my monitor is).
