man the AW3423DWF is solid but just a heads up about burn-in if you're doing long coding sessions with static elements - i mean it's way better than older oleds but still something to consider i actually went with the LG 34GP83A-B for my design work and some light gaming, VA panel so no burn-in worries and the curve is perfect for productivity stuff. not as vibrant as oled obviously but for spreadsheets and code it's crisp as hell. also like half the price of that alienware which let me put more money into my actual rig if you're really serious about valo though that oled response time is gonna be butter smooth, just maybe set up some screensavers or rotate your wallpapers if you're leaving static windows open for hours

34GP63A-B (LG 34”, 21:9 160 hz, VA) Even at this smaller size, i find dota in ultrawide to be unplayable.

I actually bought it from a family friend who bought it brand new and realized ultrawides wasn’t his thing so he sold it to me. I didn’t like it so he took it back and I got myself an open box lg 34gp83a-b from Syed tech (Syed Zada) back in January for 105k

Can't really make a comparison with other options, but I recently bought an LG UltraGear on black Friday sale. 3440x1440, VA panel, curved, 160Hz, HDR 10. It was a huge step up from my previous monitor, superb color, HDR is nuts I am super happy with it. I didn't want to overspend for an OLED and this is a very budget option.

I had one, but returned it….twice. I could never get to where I was happy with the colors on it. It always seemed just a slight bit washed out. This, coming from a lg 34gp83a-b. The size and resolution were fantastic, though! Motion clarity was great for a VA panel also!

Blurring text has nothing to do with Macs in particular, but rather the scaling factor. If you are using LG 34GP63A at the native 3440 x 1440 resolution, it will be razor sharp. It will look even better at 2x retina 1720 x 720, but that's not much in the way or screen real estate. It can be also scaled via HiDPI scaling algorithm to 2855 x 1195 and 2270 x 950, which is fine if you sit 18 inches or so from the screen. But at a closer distance, you might see some blurring around text and other sharp objects, as exhibited by this screenshot: [https://imgur.com/a/DDOSVI2](https://imgur.com/a/DDOSVI2)
