Tittle fix: Ultra wide monitor suggestions that WON’T bankrupt me Hey I wanted to get yours guys suggestions about a new monitor. Currently I am using a lg curved QHD 1440p 34 inch monitor with 160hz, and I’ve had it for a bit over 3 years now and it’s a great monitor for day to day tasks, but the editing any pictures or videos on it suck. I’ve played around with the setting a bit to see I can make it work but the colors aren’t just not right. Anything I’ve edited on the monitor look very off on other devices. I’ve been just doing everything on the actual MPB display for now but am looking to make a upgrade soon, but I’m having trouble finding any ultra wide bigger then 45 inches that would fit my needs under $750ish, everything seems to be well over $1000. I am looking for a decently large display that is at least 4k with 120hz or higher. I do also have a pc I use pretty much use exclusively for games so having decent performance there would be nice but not as important. Any ideas or suggestions would be nice. Also i was planning on stacking my current monitor on top of whatever I get next and would like to know if anyone has done that before and found it worth while or was it too impractical to keep looking up. Thank you
I have a 32 in curved 3440x1440 UW LG and I ended up setting up my 1080P monitor again beside it for screen sharing and music playlist control. WHY NOT BOTH?!
I just bought the LG OLED 5K2K 45” ultrawide. I think there’s a 34” version? My last LG 34” 1440p ultrawide was great too. My last 4 monitors have been LG and they’ve been great.
I went with a 34 1440p over the 32 4k. I had this exact dilemma and got the 32 4k first 240hz. My graphic card was 4090 and it looked great but fps was under 100 all the time. Switched to the 1440p 34 240hz and absolute love the switch. I get like 160hz+ and it’s so smooth and beautiful when playing cod and Diablo
Yeah, 34” LG UW 1440p over HDMI here and no complaints either.
Hi guys, I just upgraded to an LG 34" 3440x1440 and while I like the format, I just can't deal with the pixel density. I'm on Retina Displays since the 2012 Macbook came out and just can't go back. Hence, I'm gonna return the monitor and get another one. I have access to Chinese brands and there are basically two options: 40" 5120x2160 LG Nano IPS 120Hz 27" 5120x2880 LG IPS 60Hz (600 USD) 32" 6144x3456 LG IPS 60Hz (1000USD - a bit too much for CN gamble) I cant decide between 27 and 40 - I kinda like the widescreen format, but not sure if the the pixel density of the 40 will be good enough? Anyone has experience with a 40" 5k, and can share if they are happy with Pixel density? https://preview.redd.it/w1k5moki26gf1.jpg?width=1179&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=bf3a3989efbefef96e21afcec98ad94dac03b04f https://preview.redd.it/q1y6t2kj26gf1.jpg?width=1179&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e9fcc5c352e1d403eb9610089548a4b99acf39e5
