I've got this one and I've been pretty happy with it. Especially for the price. https://www.walmart.com/ip/MSI-Optix-OPTIXMAG342CQR-34-UW-QHD-Curved-Screen-LED-Gaming-LCD-Monitor-21-9/645944608
Yeah, I paid about $220 for this back in September. I've been very happy with it given the price.
I use it primarily as a work display and have no issues that I can recall doing all manner of standard office work. Pretty much the clarity I expect of a 1440p monitor.
No USB C. Just one HDMI and two display port.
I love it, even better that I got it for free :P. I upgraded from a MSI Optix MAG342CQR, the increased vertical height is really nice. If i really want to use it though I will need to upgrade my 9070 XT in the next few years, but so far, with the games I play I still get 100 FPS+
I went with the MSI Optix just because it was on sale for $189. I have no issues with this monitor for sim racing and FPS gaming. [https://a.co/d/g8iNmlR](https://a.co/d/g8iNmlR) They are mostly all the same in this range, just go by the price, refresh rate, brand, and whether you want FreeSync or G-Sync or not.
I was all in on a 49” but ended up with two 34” monitors. MSI MPG 341CQPX QD-OLED - the main monitor I game and watch stuff on. & MSI Optix MAG342CQR VA - secondary monitor for all other stuff while gaming or watching. I just have them next to eachother but my mount allows me to freely move them both around, so I could make either vertical with ease. Edit: I run my main monitor @240hz and the secondary monitor @ 60hz.
My tick is to strongly favor VA over IPS. I game a lot in darker environments, as well as watch shows and the occsional movie. VAs don't ghost, at least anything decent this side of lets say 2015-2020I bought an MSI 343CQR in 2021 during Covid. I did my research, and that panel was JUST barely out on the market, with almost no reviews to go by. When I set it up, tomshardware came out with a review stating its mostly pros with basically no cons, and if you adjust the colour, you're almost certainly making it worse, since the factory calibration is surprisingly perfect. Also, IPS still have a lot of glow in darker environments. VA barely has any in comparison and still has very decent blacks. Not OLED levels, but I can leave my va panel on all day, and there is 0 burn in.
Honestly mine is 1000r, and you want to be aligned dead center, so viewing angle isn't really not an angle. I have mouted it to my wall, and am always arm's length away. Palm straight out, not reaching, i can just barely touch it, which gives decent immersion and my eyes never get fatigued looking at it.
Que tal el ghosting? Yo me compré uno similar (MSI 34" VA 3440x1440 144Hz) y el ghosting que tiene eso es tremendo. Para ver películas está bien pero para juegos es muy notorio. Nunca más me compro un panel VA.
