Yoo just pulled the trigger today on the Philips! Got it for 320€ not a great price but it's the end of February there's really no promos going on and It's not worth waiting months to save maybe 50€, because I need it now. Had given up on VA's also, but Fast VA caught my attention, but still I was planning to just save some money and get a IPS maybe the M24WQ but then I saw HardwareUnboxed ufo test and it doesn't look very well, I think Danibot's test looks better imo. Then razerphone said he came from a 280Hz TN and is liking this budget monitor, I thought what the heck let's see how it olds up, it's not like there's better options for the price... The only ting that is making me afraid is the 300 nit brightness, but maybe when I have it I will see that it is enough, we'll se... I was considering that same AOC for 10€ more because of it's 430 nits brightness and slightly better Adobe RGB % rating, but the word of this small group of people was enough to convince me, from Danibot to Razer to Mrworldwide to DieKing on youtube, I trusted you guys and we are now all brothers joined by the force of the 34m2c3500L.
Sorry but only now saw your comment! Ghosting is non-existent, brightness at 300nit is more than I need I usually have it set to 20-40% brightness but I work in a room that has good natural lightning but the sun doesn’t hit the screen, if you’ll have sun directly hitting the screen than you need higher nits of brightness Edit: forget HDR it is not good and the colors loose their vibrancy. For gaming you can 100% take the shot because it really doesn’t have any ghosting. You’ll only notice ghosting on this screen if you are playing CS at very high fps and are a very pro gamer who moves the mouse very very fast
I got a philips evnia 34m2c3500l and i'm pretty happy with it.
I play in front of the screen so I don’t really care about the viewing angles. It does need to calibrate colors with the windows Philips app so that it can get good colors
I had Philips evnia 3440x1440 180hz but 180hz wasnt enough so gave my girl and got 2560x1440 qd oled 360hz 27" from asrock Nice screen Tho enjoy
