I am happy with my Philips Evnia 49M2C8900L
Very nice 👍 also have the evnia 49“ and iam very happy with it so far .
Yeah I had a BDM4065UC - 40" 4K (3840x2160) 60Hz for several years w/o any problems and this convinced me to buy a Philips again . Ambiglow is also a nice feature to have . 49“ is exactly what I looked for , mainly for work/productivity.
Bought the L with 144hz some days ago . So far I am very happy with it . Monitor stand is meh I use a monitor arm . Also, the static ambiglow is perfect for gaming or work .
So, today i found the time to check the Firmware Version 1.08 - obviously the newest for this model. i searched for a changelog but found nothing so far ...
I don’t know if there is another way , I installed the Smart Control software and connected the usb cable .

I got use it to
I have the Philips Evnia 49 OLED and if you can get it, it might be pretty much ideal for you? Theres a USB-C KVM built into the monitor itself, and it uses the same panel as the Samsung G9 OLED. The USB C can charge, take display from the mac, and give it your Keyboard and mouse inputs at the same time, then you can either use the same cable, or HDMI/DP + USB with the HP, and then theres still a HDMI left over for the XBOX.
One of the biggest limitations in MSFS has always been screen space. you’re constantly zooming and panning instead of just flying. A huge single ultrawide that lets you see the cockpit and outside world naturally could be a real game changer for immersion. I recently upgraded from 3 23 inch 1080p monitors to a single 49inch philps OLED which was a remarkable difference. However with the 49inch ultra wide the view horizontally is limited. I really think the new LG 52 evo g9 will be the absolute pinnacle in this area. I would really love the opportunity to get my hands on this baby and see what she has to offer. This opportunity is very exciting! I hope i will be eligible. Thank you LG team. Marcus
Just want to add, i own that monitor and i love it. Some games needs tweaking for either performance or aspect ratio. But overall a great experience.
It's all a matter of PC specs at that point. Pushing 240 fps in League is no feat on its own. I just didn't want to be forced to upgrade again, so I like having the headroom for my next GPU upgrade.
philips evnia 49’ 240Hz oled screen, I have it and it’s amazing
Its a dream coming true ! That OLED is really black wow ! Coming from a 1070 ti rig, to a light speed modern 5070 ti rig with a huge widescreen. Oblivion remastered looks amazing. Have a good day and take care of yourself.
Its 32:9 240hz, 49 inch. **Philips Evnia 49** [Gaming Monitor QD OLED-gamemonitor 49M2C8900/00 | Evnia](https://www.philips.be/c-p/49M2C8900_00/evnia-gaming-monitor-qd-oled-gamemonitor)
