I recently bought the pg34wcdn, and I can say it's awesome. Granted I just bought a new pc setup and this is my first real experience with an OLED monitor, but I have not had any issues with text fringing. I generally set it to 125% scaling and it reads perfectly. I don't own the AW3425DW but I did look at this one in store in Best buy. Maybe I'm biased but I do think the one I'm using right now is significantly sharper than that one. I'm sure a 32/27 inch 4k might be a little sharper but then you'd be giving up the ultrawide factor which I really enjoy. Edit: Also I'm not sure where you live, but the PG34WCDN and the MSI variant should be available in the States, so hopefully you wouldn't have to wait very long

QD with a glossy coating is always going to have colors that pop more. I've been testing this 39" and the new pg34wcdn. The pg34wcdn's colors are absolutely amazing. But the 39" isn't a slouch either.

I upgraded from an older ASUS ROG curved 75Hz (I forget the specific model) to this one and I really wished I hadn't. The curve is so aggressive that it feels around the same size as the older smaller one. The blacks are blacker and the refresh rate is obviously a lot better but it wasn't like some night and day difference in stepping up to the WOLED.

There's a billion other monitors. I love 800r, no eye fatigue.

There is the PG34WCDM which was 240Hz and this new version PG34WCDN which is 360Hz

I had the 1440p 34" inch oled from asus recently, 800R curve at that size was a lot, but I liked it. Currently got the oled G9 49" inch and the 1800R curve is terrible, never again. People are different tho

probably not on LG, but I’m hoping Asus takes their panel and work their magic on it like they did with the PG34WCDM. Custom heat sink, kvm switch etc, was great. Kinda letdown no other company has done their version of the 45 yet.. I wonder why

my previous ultrawide, asus rog swift pg34wcdm, was about 76-78 cm in width. because it was so curved (800R). Standard 34 inch ultrawides with less of a curve (1800R) tend to be 79-81 cm wide. if you want smaller than 34 but still ultrawide you might look at 28 inch monitors

I use an 800R (ASUS PG34WCDM) for both productivity and gaming. It’s amazing for both.

I have the 45" 5K2K and recently upgraded from a 4090 to a 5090. Imo don't do it, by the time you're ready for a GPU upgrade there will either be a better version of this monitor (Tandem, Asus, maybe glossy) or this monitor will be half price. If I were you I would look into the new Asus 3440x1440 gen 5 qd-oled, between the new coating, RGB stripe sub pixels, and 360hz refresh I think you'll get that "sharper and clearer" feeling you're probably looking for in the 5k2k at a much better refresh rate and latency.
