I have this monitor and love it. Might have to buy a second one to replace my 27"

I actually bought this monitor near its release and have been using it to this day. Very solid monitor, I've never had any issues with it although the coloring is a little sub-par compared to my Samsung g7. Besides all that, it's way cheaper than when I bought it.

I have this monitor and I like it. You will notice ghosting on the mouse and the colors are washed out when not in HDR mode but it looks good in HDR.

I have this one myself, I would buy another one if I needed it. It is not top of the line but I think it is a very good value for what you are paying.

Good price for a gaming-focused ultrawide. Heck, if you are looking for a monitor for work and you have a dock that’ll do USB-C display and power delivery for you, this is a pretty good option for that too. It’s a VA panel but I think you have to have your expectations in the right place when you’re buying a curved monitor for this price. I use an LG ultrawide with a VA panel of this size and it’s perfectly fine for my use.

Sceptre is what I use. It's budget friendly and it's on sale right now on Amazon for $200 34 inch, 3440x 1440p

I ended up getting once from Sceptre. They're a budget brand for sure, but I'm 5 years in and it's a pretty nice monitor. Not sure if it's still the same price now but it shouldn't set you back more than $275 at most. 3440x1440p and 165hz refresh rate.

It is a VA panel. And just checked. It's on sale again on amazon. Sceptre 34-Inch Curved Ultrawide WQHD Monitor 3440 x 1440 R1500 up to 165Hz DisplayPort x2 99% sRGB 1ms Picture by Picture, Machine Black 2023 (C345B-QUT168) There ya go. Sceptre also overclock like monsters if you want to set custom refresh rates. There are posts on reddit from other users (and in my own experience) that you can push their 144hz and 165hz monitors as high as 270.

Settings on the monitor? I wouldn't be able to tell you off the top of my head and it's something I've not really messed with beyond set up. I will say, however, is to use separate speakers or headphones. Yes, the monitor does have built in speakers, but they're super bad. The monitor stand also is NOT height adjustable. But is vesa compatible But bang for buck/value for dollar, Sceptre is my go to.

Not sure on higher end. I snagged a Sceptre 34" 1440 165hz monitor off Amazon last year that is a VA. The colors are amazing and I haven't had any noticeable smearing or ghosting in dark areas imo. Not enough to want an OLED anyway. I love this guy for balling on a budget.

I got a Sceptre 34" Ultrawide Curved Quad HD 180Hz Gaming Monitor. Its a upgrade model from last year that used to be C345B-QUT168.(old) C345B-QUT168.A1 (new) for review. For a Fast VA LED panel it is damn smooth and contrast is outstanding and while IPS does give better viewing angles i'm not going to be anywhere but in front of it while playing games so that just isn't a selling point for a personal monitor, if it was my TV sure. No visible tearing or black smearing effects while gaming at high Hz. So i donated my old one to my mom who was beyond happy at moving from a 24" Acer monitor to a 32" 1440p 165hz panel. 16:9. (My kids/nephews already have decent monitors).
