I have a Xiaomi mi monitor ultrawide 34 and it's excellent for the price for info!
Avoid Xiaomi. I have the older 34" and I had to manually lower the Hue to achieve a somewhat accurate image. Besides, it's slow, and newer models have their own drawbacks. VA is awesome, but even deeper blacks would be better. I use curved 27" VA right now, and curved panels are less deep than flat (tfw when flat is better 🥵). Actually, curve worth it, I always missed it after switch to an ultrawide IPS (it died within a month btw). In games like CS, or any other competitive games we have some kind of a tunnel vision, so we won't pay attention at corners of 21:9 while adrenaline pumps. It does look nicer, its more immersive, perfect for movies, but 21:9 is still ahead of its time and lacks of vertical FOV. FPS drop in comparison to QHD is noticeable. In comparison to FHD its huge, you'll need a GPU with at least 12Gb of VRAM and capable of 100+ FPS in 3440:1440 in somewhat modern games. tl;dr no, get the QHD 16:9
I bought it and loving it. I had the old version, this looks better with the higher Hz. Totally wrth it.
I have an older Xiaomi Ultrawide that does 144 hz. It has transformed my gaming, the ultrawide format just is better in every way. I'm not looking for a replacement, but if I was I would be looking at a Mini LED monitor in Ultra wide.
so this is my current setup: my main computer is the 16 inch m5 pro MacBook Pro, and to the side I have a dell 9570 xps 15, and a MacBook Neo I just got for days I don't want to carry my heavy MacBook Pro. caldigit ts3+ dock - allows me to switch between my Mac and xps. xiaomi 34inch 1440x3440 180hz ultrawide display. dell 27 inch 4k 60hz display (vertical). volt 276 audio interface. 8tb seagate firecuda hdd hub. kanto yu powered speakers. iPad mini 7 - I use it as a small monitor with sidecar when I'm at my desk. iPad Pro 11 m4 - my school notebook and in general an amazing device. xiaomi light bar. anker c200 2k webcam. logitech mx master 4. keychron k10 he keyboard. apple Magic Trackpad. AirPods Max (which are in repair - so I use my sony xm4). diy 1.5m wooden desk shelf. a small 4.2 rcd display with an esp32-s3 that is a pomodoro clock and is connected to my google calendar. plus I love stationary so I have a few midori notebooks and the writing block, which i use with a KAKIMORI aluminum fountain pen. upgrades i'm planning to do: 1. I ordered the satechi cubedock tb5 hub to replace my cal digit ts3+. 2. I ordered 2 monitor arms to alleviate them from the desk shelf. 3. I'm waiting for a ulanzi d200 stream deck to arrive for app shortcuts. 4. I ordered a new keyboard wooden wrist rest to fit my full size keyboard. I do love my desk setup and I spend most of my day here when I'm not in school I wish it had more natural light but my unit is a basement. I definitely need a nice lamp or something to the side but I haven't found one I liked so far. what do you think about my setup?
It’s pretty good! I had the 144hz version for the past 4 years, but 2 weeks ago there was a power outage and it was fried…. I got the 180hz version to replace it because it was in a great price, and it’s a better display than the 144hz But in those 4 years I didn’t have a single problem, and the power outage is not really a defect in the screen but just unfortunate lol. Anyway I recommend it if you get if for a good price
I use the xiaomi 34" ultrawide for simracing and i love it, i have it installed pretty close, between the steering wheel and the wheel base. I would like to upgrade to a 49" 32:9 if i had the space and GPU power https://preview.redd.it/28bpd4rghijf1.jpeg?width=4000&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=aa3643bdf4d6c60637884c5b977fdf1036886abc .
Yes, i have been using it for almost 2 years now, no trouble at all. I just noticed that the xiaomi monitor you are looking for is actually the newer version, mine is the 144hz version so the one you are looking for should be a bit better.
