Henry or Miele for BIFL.
r/BuyItForLife • Can someone please recommend a good vacuum cleaner for laminate floorings? ->Henry. Hands down and will be well under your budget for the standard one
r/AskIreland • Vacuum cleaner recommendations? ->Ours has put up with 8yrs of abuse and still going strong, as you say just change out the bags and he's as good as new. There's a reason almost every office/shop/hotel uses them
r/AskIreland • Vacuum cleaner recommendations? ->Henry’s are excellent. There’s a reason cleaning contractors use them. Looking for a vacuum with bells and whistles is pointless, just more to go wrong. Two dogs and cats. One of the dogs sheds vacuum killing amounts of hair. I’ve replaced the filters and the hose in 12 years. He’s still going!
r/dogs • Recommend me a vacum cleaner. (not robot vacum please) ->Dyson are the ones of choice, however, I cannot betray my trusted HENRY hoover. It even has the right name!
r/HENRYUKLifestyle • Vacuum cleaner recommendations ->Henry as a main one and Shark hand held (something pet plus anti hair wrap ..can't rememebr) is a great combo.
r/HENRYUKLifestyle • Vacuum cleaner recommendations ->Seconding Henry range - a no nonsense affordable hoover
r/dogs • Recommend me a vacum cleaner. (not robot vacum please) ->While I understand your preference for something compact, light weight, easy to use & affordable. Your budget maybe better spent on our Native & British assembled Numatic Henry Vacuums. The reason being is because of their incredibly reliable motors & simple design. Which in turn equals less maintenance & time spent on keeping the damn thing running. Think; Do I have time to basically jet wash a bagless vacuum cleaner every 3 - 6 months? At the moment and if you can stretch to it, on the official Henry web store is the “Home Henry” on special offer for £129 Which includes a few additional tools and an air powered brush head to help remove hair from carpets. https://www.myhenry.com/henry-home (Non affiliated link) Unfortunately however, it appears to be currently out of stock. But they do have a stock notifier box, if you would like to use that facility.
r/VacuumCleaners • <£100 decent vacuum cleaner? ->Usually a Henry or miele and you can't go wrong with those immo
r/VacuumCleaners • Vac recommendations ->Same. The only one I would ever recommend. Had expensive Dysons and cheap non brands. All blew up or became useless. Henry is still a champ 10 years later, just changing bags now and then and off it goes.
r/AskIreland • Vacuum cleaner recommendations? ->Henry 4 lyfe. End of story. But from the POV of buying for life, how many of the other designs can boast that something like 40% of all their vacuums *ever built* are still in service?
r/BuyItForLife • I analyzed the 25 most recommended vacuum cleaners on reddit ->I’d highly recommend a canister vacuum cleaner with a dedicated bare-floor nozzle - the kind that’s just a brush with no wheels. Something like a Wessel-Werk CN250 or D 330 Turn & Clean. Both Miele and SEBO offer branded versions of these. These don’t have wheels and sit on just bristles. No plastic wheels and baseplates fo break. These glide over the uneven floors beautifully and strong suction will pick the dirt up out of the crevices. If you’re dealing with fine dust, bags are the way to go. No filters to wash, no dust cups to clean out, no plumes of dust. No, the bags won’t fill up instantly or loose suction the way old paper vacuum bags did. I’d strongly recommend looking at SEBO E3, or K3; Miele C1 or C3 canister with the Miele Parquet nozzle, Numatic Henry with the bare-floor only brush. If you find a canister you like that doesn’t have a no-wheels bare floor brush, you can get aftermarket ones either online or at your local vac shop. Most canisters use either a 35mm (Miele size) fitting, or generic 1 1/4” or 32mm fitting. Check out your local vacuum shop and let them know your flooring situation. They’ll be able to get you the exact attachments you need.
r/VacuumCleaners • Vacuum recommendations for flagstone flooring and some carpet ->Miele C1 turbo team, Sebo k2 turbo or Henry xtra No wrong answers amongst the 3.
r/VacuumCleaners • Best vacuum for hard floors and area rugs? ->As long as it’s a low pile rug: Henry 160, Miele C1 Pure Suction, Sebo k2 kombi. No wrong answers amongst the 3. You don’t wand cordless/bagless they don’t work well and break prematurely. You’d be lucky to get 2 years from the crap that’s being sold today.
r/VacuumCleaners • Best vacuum for everyday cement floors + one rug ->If you’re in the UK you gotta get a Henry! 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
r/VacuumCleaners • Hoover Recommendations? ->You could get a BIFL level vacuum for a little over budget. Sebo Felix or K3. If not, a Henry Xtra over any shark for sure.
r/VacuumCleaners • Pet vacuum cleaner recommendations circa £200 in UK ->Instead send me $350 and I’ll send you a video of me lighting it on fire. These wet/dry vacs are a marketing gimmick for people to hate money. Avoid at all costs. Buy a decent dry vacuum and a good old mop and bucket. Hard floors throughout the home? No carpet? Miele C1 pure suction or Sebo k2 kombi or Henry 160 will be excellent dry vacuums for hard floors.
r/VacuumCleaners • Please Help me choose Wet Dry vacuum cleaner. ->Great vac, but Not for carpet unfortunately
r/BuyItForLife • Best vacuum cleaner? ->Dude is a paid shark shill. Take what he says with a huge grain of salt. Miele, Sebo, Henry or Lindhaus are the correct answers
r/BuyItForLife • Best vacuum cleaner? ->Got it! Hard floor only: Miele C1 Pure Suction, Sebo k2 Kombi, Henry 160 Hard floor and carpet: Miele C1 Cat and Dog, Sebo k3, e3, dart or Felix To add: all are excellent. If you have a Miele/Sebo dealer nearby, definitely stop in for a test drive.
r/VacuumCleaners • Recommend a Vacuum Cleaner for a Luxury Vinyl Floor. Thanks. ->Henry Xtra! 🇬🇧
r/VacuumCleaners • What’s the best vacuum for a mainly tiled and laminate flooring home? ->Henry has hepaflo bags. Or look at the “clean air” model. And generally speaking all bagless vacuums are terrible (see: your Dyson that broke). Yes you’ll have the reoccurring cost of bags, but the Henry will last you a couple of decades. So you won’t have to waste money buying a whole new unit every few years like you would with a modern bagless. Also the bags henry uses are massive. I’d be shocked if you used more than 2 a year.

r/VacuumCleaners • What’s the best vacuum for a mainly tiled and laminate flooring home? ->I’d urge you to reconsider cordless. Most of them will have this same fate. IMO Get a Henry xtra as your primary vacuum. If you absolutely must have a cordless, Henry quick.
r/VacuumCleaners • Can someone recommend me a replacement cordless vacuum? ->I’d urge you to reconsider cordless. Most of them will have this same fate. IMO Get a Henry xtra as your primary vacuum. If you absolutely must have a cordless, Henry quick.
r/VacuumCleaners • Can someone recommend me a replacement cordless vacuum? ->It’s shaped like a small shop-vac. I don’t find it “bulky” but that’s personal preference. All the pieces disconnect and break down so if you have a cabinet or closet it can store quite compactly. Not as compact as a stick, but the huge bump in performance is worth it IMO. Being in the UK there is bound to be a store where you can see the Henry for yourself and decide if it will work for you. The Quick is probably the best stick vac on the market. Just don’t expect a 20yr lifespan like you can with the corded Henry’s.
r/VacuumCleaners • Can someone recommend me a replacement cordless vacuum? ->Check out a Miele C1 turbo team, Sebo k2 turbo or Henry xtra. Use the turbo head on your rug. The Miele and Sebo have cord rewind, but the Henry doesn’t. All 3 are excellent options though as long as you don’t plan on having wall to wall carpets or more rugs/thicker pile rugs over the next 20 years or so.
r/VacuumCleaners • Vacuum for hardwood floors and cat ->Check out a Miele C1 Pure Suction, Sebo k2 kombi or Henry 160.
r/VacuumCleaners • Recommend me a vacuum that's all about the hose ->No wrong answers amongst the 3! If you do have a Miele/Sebo dealer nearby, stop in for a test drive. They Henry may be hard to source locally though and will need to be ordered online. The biggest differences are 1) Miele has the shortest cord 2) the Henry has a manual cord rewind, the other two are automatic 3) the Henry’s bag is massive. And yes. The Miele is less expensive because it doesn’t have the electric powerhead (used for wall to wall carpets) which would be totally overkill for you. Those models *start* at $775. I’d also caution ordering from Amazon (specifically for the Miele) look around the sub, there are dozens and dozens of examples of people getting used/broken machines being sold as “new”.
r/VacuumCleaners • Recommend me a vacuum that's all about the hose ->This, OP
r/VacuumCleaners • Looking for a lightweight stick vacuum with good suction, anti-hair wrap, AND suctions the dirt into a vacuum bag ->Just get a Numatic Henry. Relatively cheap, powerful and reliable.
r/homeowners • Best (cost/performance) vacuum cleaner? ->I've never head of a vaccuum cleaner with no consumable parts such as disposable bags, unfortunately. I wish I had one, that'd be great! Well the tiny cordless ones don't have disposable bags - you just pour the dust out into the litter bin - but they have *nowhere near* enough suction power for a couch. Vaccuming a couch needs a lot of suction power. Most durable brands have good suction power. Numatic (the ones with the faces on them) have fantastic suction power, are very durable, and it's easy to buy replacement parts if something breaks. It's a British brand so probably available in India. They are expensive, but less expensive than other vaccuums that are equally good. Since Numatic is so easy to repair, a secondhand Numatic might be a good choice?
r/BuyItForLife • whats a cheap reliable vacuum cleaner? ->I have a Henry Hoover and it's grand.
r/AskIreland • Vacuum cleaner recommendations? ->Australia here and Henry Petcare is the best little vacuum I've ever had
r/BuyItForLife • best bifl vacuum cleaner? ->Henry. Huge bags, wide nozzle so it rarely gets blocked, nothing fancy to go wrong - it either sucks or it doesn't!
r/UK_Pets • Pet vacuum cleaner recs?? ->Can’t believe I had to go all the way to #20 to find the dependable, REPAIRABLE Henry.
r/BuyItForLife • I analyzed the 25 most recommended vacuum cleaners on reddit ->Any Nuvac "SS" model, they are extra quiet and designed to be used in occupied offices. Excellent suction power that does not fade given their HEPA bags, easily available spares and accessories, come in lots of colours. Anyone who snobs at them knows nothing about vacuums 😅
r/HENRYUKLifestyle • Vacuum cleaner recommendations ->+1 for Henry. If you can't find one look at what the office cleaners in your area use.
r/BuyItForLife • best bifl vacuum cleaner? ->How much is the Numatic Henry 160 in CAN? I know they are pretty cheap in the UK and marked up by 300% in the US.
r/VacuumCleaners • Budget Canister Vacuum Recommendations ->Too bad. From what I've seen via product reviews, the Numatic Henry 160 seems to be the best "bang for the buck" canister vacuum-wise if you have a mixture of hard floors and low pile carpet/area rugs and have pets. I'm in the US and just got a 160 Xtra for $420 from QVC. I'm hoping that the reviews are proved right once I get it later this week.
r/VacuumCleaners • Budget Canister Vacuum Recommendations ->This is 100% not accurate. Dysons are very poor performers and most don’t recommend them. That particular Kirby model 18 to 21 years old and can’t even buy it new anymore, and most people who like Kirby’s don’t even recommend them. Cordless vacuums are mediocre at best. This may be the most recommended vacuums among the general public, but for most aficionados, they know to stay away from the vast majority of these. There are a few good ones in there. The Mieles, the Henry, the Kirby is at least a reliable cleaner and a cheap option.
r/VacuumCleaners • I analyzed the 25 most recommended vacuum cleaners on reddit ->I bought an extra one after 10 years cause I figured Henry needed a friend. They both still work fantastic, even with two big dogs and two cats.
r/BuyItForLife • I analyzed the 25 most recommended vacuum cleaners on reddit ->A Henry vacuum (if you're in the UK) will outlast almost everything. They will clean your carpets, tiles and everything across the building site - and all with a big grin on its face!
r/BuyItForLife • best bifl vacuum cleaner? ->That bastard can find trouble anywhere. Some chair leg or door gets in his face and he kicks off and ends up on his arse. Drunk manoeuvring aside, they're excellent vacuums. I keep finding them on the side of the road and they're normally fully functional or you can replace the whole motor for £25
r/BuyItForLife • I analyzed the 25 most recommended vacuum cleaners on reddit ->The Miele, Henry, and Sebo vacs are the only ones worth a damn on this list. If you want a real BIFL vac and are willing to shell out, get a Lindhaus.
r/BuyItForLife • These are the most recommended vacuum cleaners on Reddit (r/VacuumCleaners VS others) as of Jan 2025 ->I have a golden retriever, hard floors and the shedding tumbleweed is quicker than I can hoover 😂 I have a robot vacuum that keeps the worst at bay and then a Henry for proper hoovering. The robot vacuum is a game changer because it’ll keep on top of the worst of it and can go on a constant wander
r/UK_Pets • Pet vacuum cleaner recs?? ->I find the Henry one useless but I also have COPD so I think the people saying it’s great might not have the same cleaning needs as us breathing challenged

r/VacuumCleaners • 14 cats and 2 dogs needs great vacuum/carpet cleaner ->It’s got a turbo head that’s great on carpets. Strong motor. Super quiet. Large bags that hold a LOT of pet hair. Holds up to years of abuse. Very serviceable. Excellent filtration. It’s not a wet/dry vac at all. Nacecare makes a wet/dry - but it’s not the Henry. 👍
r/VacuumCleaners • 14 cats and 2 dogs needs great vacuum/carpet cleaner ->Shark is a bad idea. You need a canister type vac with strong suction. A “Henry” vac, or a Miele or Sebo straight suction canister would do the job. Personally, I’d get a Henry. [Henry 160](https://www.allaboutvacuums.com/product/nace-care-henry-compact-canister-vacuum-hvr160/?utm_source=google&utm_campaign=aav-elite-feed&utm_medium=shopping&utm_term=12793&gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAjw0t63BhAUEiwA5xP54bAuR8jKyReh9N_y5xLa9D9o5Gwjp2WAB3RPkLg5zY5DBD-jT7qSpRoCSegQAvD_BwE)
r/VacuumCleaners • Wool Carpet: Which “Suction Only” Vacuums would you recommend? ->After scouring this sub and r/vacuumcleaners, I ended up going with the Henry. Had it for a few years and it does its job, but it’s such a pain to lug around. Glad to see some cordless models made the list. Might consider getting one sometime since, although a cordless isn’t necessarily BIFL, I’d likely actually vacuum more with one. My floors may thank me lol
r/BuyItForLife • These are the most recommended vacuum cleaners on Reddit (r/VacuumCleaners VS others) as of Jan 2025 ->I’d look into a Henry Turbo or Miele Compact C2 Cat & Dog. Maybe even a Sebo K2.
r/VacuumCleaners • Hoover Recommendations? ->Henry’s have gotten smaller in the last few years. They’re now about the width of a step, if that helps at all. No larger than any of my other suggestions.
r/VacuumCleaners • Hoover Recommendations? ->A Henry 160 is my pick!
r/VacuumCleaners • Wool Carpet: Which “Suction Only” Vacuums would you recommend? ->Trash all of them, none of those are good vacuums (except the Miele). Also look into the Simplicity Jill, Henry 160 and Sebo K2.
r/VacuumCleaners • what is best vacuum for rugs and wood floors? ->Mieles are good but I think a numatic Henry would be your best option and they have a cordless model as well they are very durable machines and easy to repair yourself
r/VacuumCleaners • Vac recommendations ->Henry, funny face included. These things are unstoppable
r/BuyItForLife • Best vacuum cleaner? ->There is only one brand of vacuum that will last your lifetime, it's a Henry and it's not even on the list. Crazy
r/BuyItForLife • I analyzed the 25 most recommended vacuum cleaners on reddit ->I worked housekeeping in a few different fancy hotels, they all use Henry. He’s a work horse and never breaks! Yes he’s not the sleekest but he’s a charmer
r/AskIreland • Vacuum cleaner recommendations? ->Henry. Always Henry.
r/BuyItForLife • I analyzed the 25 most recommended vacuum cleaners on reddit ->I love my Henry and wish I would have purchased him years ago. I do recommend him but only to people who have no carpet and very very few rugs. Henry is amazing but he does not do great on carpeting.
r/BuyItForLife • I analyzed the 25 most recommended vacuum cleaners on reddit ->r_doood is spot on. The Numatic Henry is a great option for you. I use the Wessel Werk RD285 head he mentioned. It's excellent for picking up stuff like hair, dust, and dry dirt. It's outstanding for getting under chairs, tables, anything low to the ground. Comparable vacuums would be the Kärcher T12/1 or the IPC LP. Plenty of great options in the small commercial canister vac segment well within your budget.
r/VacuumCleaners • Vacuum Recommendation -># I have had a Miele in the past, I have had a few Dyson's, but the one I am liking most is the Henry Pet XL. It is more straightforward and gets the job done.
r/labrador • Lab owners, what’s your favorite vacuum? Ours went out and we need a new one that’s great for dog hair ->Agree. It takes some amount of abuse and still does the job. I even took out the bag one time and used my Henry to vacuum a drenched footwell after driving car through a flood. It did a stellar job.
r/AskIreland • Vacuum cleaner recommendations? ->Dyson - we've had 2 or 3 handhelds. OK day to day for the hard floors and pretty good for carpets occasionally. Fills up quickly and does a better job than our cleaner's vac but eventually bits break. Normally just out of warranty and parts aren't available directly so I end up on ebay. I'm not convinced it's worth the price tag TBH Shark - I'll look at this next time for price point on handhelds Henry - we've had ours for about 15 years. He's done several renovations, sucked up all sorts of horrible stuff including garden waste. That thing is bullet proof and if it eve does go wrong, it's simple enough to fix Miele - I'm going to look at this next time as it gets some good reccos here Father in law likes his Vax
r/HENRYUKLifestyle • Vacuum cleaner recommendations ->I have a Henry and love it. Works well on hard floors and carpet.
r/BuyItForLife • Can someone please recommend a good vacuum cleaner for laminate floorings? ->If you want to save a bit henry xtra is a good vacuum with long hoae and all attachments
r/VacuumCleaners • Which vacuum cleaner for professional residential cleaning u.k? ->Sebo, Henry, Miele, Lindhaus all make BIFL level machines. They're expensive, but 20+ years of service is common with these brands. Sebo machines even come with a 10 year warranty when you get them from a dealer. Can't go wrong with anything from these brands. Go to a brick and mortar vacuum store and avoid big box store brands like Shark and Dyson.
r/BuyItForLife • Best vacuum cleaner? ->Numatic - we have Henry, always with a smile.
r/BuyItForLife • best bifl vacuum cleaner? ->A Henry (Nutmatic) That thing will never die [Henry](https://www.johnlewis.com/henry-plus-vacuum-cleaner/p3276915?s_ppc=2dx_mixed_technology_BAU&tmad=c&tmcampid=2&gad_source=1&gbraid=0AAAAAD2el1wHKVNSD_sEyl6fAZeEeqSD6&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIs7WpkoCqhwMVyJZQBh1Y5g0REAQYAiABEgLwefD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds) My Henry is about 18 years in use Shark Detect Pro for cordless. I’ve only had it for a few months but very impressed
r/VacuumCleaners • Best vacuum under $400 that will see LOTS of use! ->We have a Henry for DIY, a robot eufy, cordless shark, wired shark and a sebo which is stored away. Must get rid. We use all except sebo. Best is the wired shark..it's an animal.
r/HENRYUKLifestyle • Vacuum cleaner recommendations ->Dyson in buy it for life , lol, it wont last till next year. Henry or GTFO.
r/BuyItForLife • I analyzed the 25 most recommended vacuum cleaners on reddit ->Every so often at a UK holiday complex salesmen would turn up to try and replace the 200+ Numatic Henry vacuums they had. They would take them to a restaurant next to a beach, and get them to vac the mats full of sand. Many didn't even last though the demo.
r/BuyItForLife • I analyzed the 25 most recommended vacuum cleaners on reddit ->Henry. The red one, not the other colours. There's a reason pro cleaners all use them.
r/AskIreland • Vacuum cleaner recommendations? ->Bagged vacuums require maintenance every 2-3 months, when you throw the bag away and replace it with a new one. Very low maintenance I would suggest a corded vacuum as well. As you've discovered, cordless vacuums only really work well in high power mode, which they're not designed to be used in for sustained periods of time. With a small apartment, the Henry 160 should have a long enough cord that you won't need to unplug it. Just plug into a somewhat central plug Canister vacuums have all the weight on the floor. The wands are very minimalist and can get under furniture easily A Wessel Werk RD285 floor tool you can get as an aftermarket part is ideal for dealing with fur on hard surfaces You don't need a rotating brush as a corded suction only vacuum with good suction is enough to clean hard floors well
r/VacuumCleaners • Recommendations upright vacuum cleaner for cat hair [NL] ->I'm from Singapore. I think good options would be Miele C1, C3, and Numatic Henry/James. You can even find a Lindhaus if you want. The bagged Bosch canisters would also be good options. The Miele C3 in Singapore is the 2000W pure suction model. Whether you want a turbo-brush or not, that's kinda borderline The Henry 160 would be quite expensive though. I got a quote from the distributor here and it's about $450SGD. You can ask the Numatic distributor about the various models they can bring in https://jeffsupplies.com/product-tag/numatic/ There's also a Lindhaus dealer (Supersteam) who could potentially bring in the Valzer or the HF6 Personally, I've owned the Henry, the HF6, and a Bosch GL-30 (roughly the Series 4). They will all do a great job on the hard floors and deal with your long hair. The combi tool should be OK on the rug, but you can always get an aftermarket turbo-brush from Wessel Werk/Miele/Numatic if there's a need The HF6 is the only one of the lot where an electric powerhead is an option (though I don't think it's really needed for your situation) As far as I know, there's no Sebo distributor in Singapore Henry's appear for cheap once in a while on Carousell. You can buy bags direct from the distributor for $40/10 bags
r/VacuumCleaners • Looking for Singapore (non-USA) vacuum recommendations! ->Or get a Henry. Which is cheap in the UK and performs well. You can get a turbo brush if rug performance with pure suction isn't good enough. Henry uses the very common 32mm sizing for accessories
r/VacuumCleaners • Need some help choosing a bagged vacuum cleaner (UK) ->Honestly I think the perfect combo is to have a robot to do the regular work and then a Henry for the big jobs.
r/BuyItForLife • These are the most recommended vacuum cleaners on Reddit (r/VacuumCleaners VS others) as of Jan 2025 ->You have a duty to God & country to buy a 🇬🇧Numatic Henry 160.
r/VacuumCleaners • What’s the best vacuum for a mainly tiled and laminate flooring home? ->I use a Henry hoover. They can handle a lot but still manage to get blocked at times
r/guineapigs • UK recommendation for vacuum cleaner that can handle piggy mess ->Travesty for Henry Hoover to be missing from this list. Truly indestructible BIFL
r/BuyItForLife • I analyzed the 25 most recommended vacuum cleaners on reddit ->Ah my bad, missed that!
r/BuyItForLife • I analyzed the 25 most recommended vacuum cleaners on reddit ->Agreed, Henrys are awesome! Super light, powerful, and dependable as gravity.
r/dogs • Recommend me a vacum cleaner. (not robot vacum please) ->I spent close to €500 on a Dyson 4 years ago and it died on me last night (RIP!). But it was on the blink for months, ill never rebuy. My next handheld will be Shark, they’re supposed to be brilliant. For plug ins it used be Henry but the EU changed maximum wattage to 900 and it scuppered the power behind Henry which was 1200 watts at the time . The hotel Henry hoovers were all pre 2017 and will last a lifetime if cared for. My dad has a Meile C2 and it’s incredible. Would take the pepper off your dinner it’s that thorough!
r/AskIreland • Vacuum cleaner recommendations? ->A Henry costs about £120-£140, it is mains powered, never dies, very powerful and uses bags. Almost all builders use it, and for a reason.
r/VacuumCleaners • What’s the Best Affordable Vacuum That Actually Works? ->My Henry is smiling at my from across the room. Or he’s looking to get into trouble, it’s hard to tell sometimes.
r/BuyItForLife • I analyzed the 25 most recommended vacuum cleaners on reddit ->Definitely . My sister has one and it's even better than my trusty Henry
r/dyson • Which vacuum should I buy? ->My Henry Xtra could handle that. It's amazing.
r/VacuumCleaners • Best vacuum for huge house, hardwood + 5000 sqft rug/carpet ->If they are available in your area: Henry. Hands down the best vacuum if you have pets.
r/goldenretrievers • Any recommendations on good Vacuums pretty please ->I bought the Henry and I regret it. It’s heavy, the casters don’t track very well, the floor and carpet nozzles are cheap and generic and the design is very clunky.
r/BuyItForLife • I analyzed the 25 most recommended vacuum cleaners on reddit ->You're right that most appliances today don't last long. Just about every vacuum sold at a big box store will only last a couple years. I encourage you to visit your local vacuum stores, they will carry brands that last decades. Bagged vacuums offer better filtration and last longer because they put less stress on the motor. For all hardwood with a few rugs a canister vacuum would be ideal otherwise you would need the brushroll to turnoff on an upright vacuum. There are a number of canister vacuums from Henry, Miele, and Sebo that are BIFL and last 15-20 years. I recommend taking a look at the [Henry Allergy](https://www.qvc.com/numatic-henry-allergy-canister-vacuum-hepafiltration.product.H369076.html) $524 and the [Sebo K2 Turbo](https://classicvac.com/sebo-airbelt-k2-turbo-black-cherry/) $499. Both vacuums are extremely durable and long lasting. They're also powerful but quiet too. Henry is a commercial vacuum from Great Britain and Sebo makes commercial vacuums from Germany. The Henry Allergy has large hepa bags and a large hepa filter, his face is removable. Henry isn't sold in many stores so you'll probably need to buy online. The Sebo K2 comes with a 10-year motor warranty from approved dealers. There are more local vacuum stores that sell and service Sebo vacuums. The K2 has an optional Hepa service box to add a hepa filter over the standard S-Class filter. The Sebo K2 can come with a combo brush the K2 Kombi or the K2 Turbo comes with a standard hard floor brush and a turbo brush for rugs/minimal carpets. I like the Sebo a little more for your flooring because I prefer the motor speed suction control over the suction bleed valve on the Henry when cleaning rugs.
r/VacuumCleaners • Can someone please recommend the best HEPA vacuum available on the market? ->I love my Henry, had it ages and still going strong!
r/vegan • Looking for a vacuum cleaner ->I'm the UK a Henry £119. I don't know how you guys are spending $499 on it.
r/BuyItForLife • I analyzed the 25 most recommended vacuum cleaners on reddit ->My Henry pet just arrived today. I’m currently making do with fooorboards in some rooms as the the carpets were awful when I moved in but want to wait and put decent flooring down. So I’ve got some gaps and troughs between the boards. Just run it in anger on my lunch break. Pulled out the dust between the boards fine. Don’t think my limited carpets have ever been as clean. Electric brush power head will obviously be better but the air brush did a good job. I got the xl, but Henrys have definitely got more compact of late. Even my xl was a lot smaller than I thought. The My Henry website has a few items on sale right now so you can get a lot of machine between £150 and £200. Deliver is free and mine turned up in less than 24 hours.
r/VacuumCleaners • Hoover Recommendations? ->Numatic is literally unkillable.
r/BuyItForLife • I analyzed the 25 most recommended vacuum cleaners on reddit ->Henry, or any of the other Numatic models. No question. They may look like a toy but there is a reason every professional cleaner here has one. They're so cheap in the UK for what they are because they are made here. £130 will buy you a brand new one, but an second hand one is a perfectly good option too. They last absolutely forever (I know 1980s models still in daily use), have very powerful suction, you can get bags easily, and the cord length is insane. The bags are big and don't need changing often. The only thing a Henry isn't so great for is deep pile carpet. Probably best to get an upright as well for that. To be fair though, I haven't tried one with a powered brush head, so maybe they can do long carpet well with one of those.
