The ranking is based on aggregated user sentiment from Reddit. The ranking algorithm takes into account 1) the ratio of positive to negative user sentiment, and 2) the volume of user sentiments.
The intention is to show which IEMs are the most well reviewed.
Green = no. of users who expressed sentiment.
Orange = no. of users who expressed neutral sentiment.
Red = no. of users who expressed negative sentiment.
Details on the ranking algorithm:
For each model we calculate the normalized difference between the number of positive and negative user sentiments, and the normalized ratio betweeen the number of positive and negative user sentiments. We then weight the absolute difference slightly more heavily than the ratio (0.6 vs 0.4) to determine the final score for ranking.
